As most of you know, the Army has experienced a personality conflict between two of it's squad leaders over the past few months. This expanded from a personal dislike to an inter-squad rivalry, to a DJO vs. non-Force user morale-killing conflict.
My policy has always been to counsel and not lay down summary judgement whenever possible. Obviously, this situation was not acted on by responsible adults. Other squads were affected, as well as other divisions. This is an unacceptable fault, as I apologize to the rest of the club on behalf of the rest of the Corps.
That said, we are undertaking the following actions as punishment to the individuals who precipitated, fueled, and encouraged this fight:
- Afyon - stripped of Dark Dragoons squad leader position, demoted two ranks to SSG, fined half the amount of FGB account
- Cyanus - stripped of Raiders assistant squad leader position, demoted one rank to SSG
- Otto Vox - stripped of Raiders fire team leader position, demoted one rank to GSG
- Phoenix - stripped of Raiders squad leader position, demoted two ranks to SGT, fined half the amount of FGB account
- Rema - stripped of Dark Dragoons squad leader position, demoted one rank to CPL
The folllowing stormtroopers are given the uneviable task of cleaning up their newly appointed squads and restoring them to their previous respectable glory:
- SSG Kairo will assume the responsibilies of Dark Dragoons squad leader
- SSG MaraJade will assume the responsibilites of Raiders squad leader
It is up to these two leaders to designate their assistants and fire team leaders. Seniority and prior experience mean nothing in this. No one is "entitled" to a job in this army; we all earn our place.
This is, in my opinion, the end of the matter. The principals in this matter have been punished for their actions and are now given the chance to use the activity and skills they have to regain favor and approval in the eyes of their fellow comrades. They will be no retribution or otherwise negative actions taken against these members by the Corps or members of it.
Let us all learn our lessons and move on from this sad affair. I believe I speak for all of us when I say I just want it to be finally over.
