i would imagine that they are making more money than before, the graphics are obviously better than the old trilogy, and different from you art, i find the new ones with more action than the old ones.

So, you're saying that just because I didn't shrug my shoulders, I'm not a deep lover and hard core Star Wars fan? That would imply that most of the VE, although dedicated and SW-loving fans, aren't the true hard-core/old school Star Wars fans.

Not saying you aren't, Cosmic. My thinking is that most Star Wars fans who fell in love with the original trilogy will not be wholly impressed by what the new movies have to offer.

Episode I wasn't that grand that to me, probably because the entire movie was set in a small scale (some robots fighting uber lame gungangs, bleh) and some really corny dialogue with Anakin. Also because they killed off Maul (he was the only cool dude). It was ok, nothing too bad. Just ok.

Attack of the Clones was as an absolute bore because of the really crappy romance mixed in. The only part I really enjoyed was when the Jedi were being massacred in the Geonosis arena. Other than that.. meh.

I'm hoping that Episode III makes amends, though I do have my reservations. I honestly think that Lucas is trying too hard to make his new movies appeal to the younger generation.

the first SW film i ever saw was A New Hope, on 18 inch tv screen in a friends basement, later that night we watched ESB and ROTJ, ever sence then i havent been able to get enough, and yet i still like Ep2, and Ep1 in small doses, actualy all of them are best in small doses, however Ep1 in the smallest, i like somethings about it, Ep2 was kind of a bore, true, but not all bad, have a two diffrent movie posters for it, both kick ass.

Truly I think that Episode III is what can redeem Lucas from the kiddish first prequel, and the moderate second.  Sure Episode II has many more good things than I, and a great ending, but it still lacked the greatness of the first trilogy.

Revenge of the Sith won't just be revenge for them, it'll be Revenge for Lucas.

Oh and did you know "Return of the Jedi" was first named "Revenge oif the Jedi" ?. Than they said that Jedis could feel no "revenge". Now Sith can feel revenge, so its called "Revenge of the Sith" - co-accident? (Yes, even me know some stuff)

I remember back in the day, me and my buddy Vorrie used to be obsessed with figuing out what would happen in EP2 and 3, and I distinctly remember that Anakin gets put into the lava pit...  It's him verses Obiwan, but what I don't understand, is they show Ani and Obi fighting in two different areas...  They show him fighting at the lava pits, and they show him in like a freightor or something trying to lower his saber to Obi-Wans throat.  I don't think those are the same places, and I'm pretty sure they only have one encounter,(that of which ensues the Vader costume...)
