We have need of extracting some Imperial officers and technicians from the prison planet of Kiffex.

Located in the Azurbani system, Kiffex is a long interdicted prison planet, currently neutral from all galactic affairs.  If a crime is committed in Imperial, New Republic, or Hutt space and the authorities do not want you found, odds are high you will end up on Kiffex.

The planet is protected by the Guardians of Kiffu, an organization created during the Old Republic to keep control over an entire prison planet.

Its sister planet Kiffu, is populated by the Kiffar, as the humans there are known.  They maintain their freedom by being an honest broker between all galactic partners when a prisoner is brought to their care.  In addition, the fees paid to maintain such a prison population is more than adequate for a forgotten world on the Inner Rim.

You will be transported to the planet Kiffu by a courier craft.  There, you will target and execute the traitor Torlock, the former Imperial Governor of Corulag.  You will do this with conventional weapons only.  You will allow yourselves to be captured without incident and then taken to the prison planet Kiffex where you will be given further instructions.

Raziel entered the briefing room and faced the arc members who were sitting and waiting for the briefing.

"Alright men, this mission will be a bit longer than our last one.  You already know what we have to do first, assassinate Torlock.  The first phase in this is entering the planet and finding Torlock, when I mean find him I mean find him and find out about him.  We will all be onboard a business-class commuter shuttle bound for Kiffu.  No one is to carry weapons, we go in naked.  Each of you will be disguised as a professional or businessman.  Fury has had intel make us some exceptional pieces of identification.  Dress semi-formal and carry a suitcase.  Suitcase should have more clothing, some semi-formal some formal, as well as other personal effects such a person would carry with them.  Try to look as civilian as possible.  We will be going on the same shuttle but do not act as if you know each other.  Also, act civilian, no salutes, no sirs, no signs of military conduct.  Once we arrive on the planet, we will split up into groups of two.  Decide your teams before we get on the shuttle and decide a place to meet, whether it be outside the spaceport, in the lounge, etc.  From there you all have 24 hours to find out as much intel as you can on the traitor.  You will also all need to find yourselves a pistol, nothing fancy, just a standard common pistol.  You will all be issued credits and will each have a card with access to an account for more if you need them, please spend them wisely so that they dont take away our access.  You will also all have a picture of Torlock.  After 24 hours, we will meet in room 324 of the spaceport hotel.  We will formulate an assassination plan and carry it out."

Raziel concluded and dismissed the men.  Afyon headed up to his room to pack a suitcase, he had a suit and some semi-formal clothing...certainly enough for this mission.  After packing and changing, he went back down to the briefing room to wait for the others.  When he entered, he was issued his identification.  He was a business man working for a mdeium sized corellian company which made engine parts.  Afyon examined the identification and then put it in his wallet.  He had taken all his identification out of the wallet and now all he had in it was his new id, credits, and the access card to get more credits.  He took the picture of torlock and put it in his suitcase for now.  Afyon then sat down and waited for the others to arrive.

After Afyon had dismissed them from the breafing Mandor walked to his quarters.

He got his suitcase and put in a few business suits and a pair of casual dress cloths. He picked up the picture of their target, he was a heavy set man, with a large nose and thinning hair. Mandor put the picture in his briefcase and closed it.

He put his credits and access card into his money clip and strode out of the room. He went to the launching bay, and sat at a metal bench and closed his eyes.

Mandor would be going in as a Botonist. He would say he was studying the Tetra Hydro Carbon producing plants on the planet. Mandor let the noise of the area drift away, and fell into a half nap.

Hashi flipped open his suitcase and started randomly throwing stuff into it. An ill-fitting tuxedo, a couple of ugly ties, a casual utility vest, and a pair of pants and boxers. He never had much taste in clothing.

No conventional weapons for this mission, that was the order. Hashi cursed and sadly looked over his extensive arsenal of weapons, of which he can't bring even a single item along for the ride.

It will be hard to explain to the planetary customs what a rifle, belts of grenades or maybe his bazooka was doing in his suitcase, so he kinda understood the rationale behind it.

Bolting the suitcase shut, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small datapad. He frowned as he read the fake id laid out for him by crack VE Intel. Pants salesman? What the hell? Ahh, It'll do, he thought.

He shrugged his shoulders and moved in front of the mirror which stood in one corner of his bunk. He rarely used the thing. His black hair was slick yet hard as concrete after running hair gel through it, in an effort to make him look smarter and more formal. He was wearing a white shirt with a black tie and a black jacket to match, with pants of the same colour. Finishing it off was a cool pair of sky blue shades.

Hashi booted the door to his bunk open and banged off for the hangar. He certainly wasn't happy about not bringing along his usual pet guns for this mission. He hoped they would accomplish the first phase of the mission quickly enough.

"Cultural Anthropologist from Obroa-Skai, coming to study the complex tattoo system that locals place on themselves to identify with their clan." Intel. sure could make up interesting things. At least it will explain his extra items he was carrying.

Rema stuffed a few pairs of clothes, flimsy-plast, and his datapad into the suitcase. He stuck a small item into his suitcase that looked like a Stylus. In fact it was a Tagger that Rema figured might come in handy.

Walking over to his mirror, he tried to do something with his hair but decided just to put on a hat. Looking at himself he frowned.

"I look like a senator's aide." He said out loud. Turning, Rema saw his holster with his DL-54 auto pistols in it. How he would miss having that at his side. Going into a hostile situation without any form of protection was going against everything Rema had learned in the past. His insides screamed to carry a gun, but he knew he couldnt. It looked like he was just going to have to be very aware of his surroundings.

Stuffing his credits and his fake ID into his back pocket, Rema left his quarters to go meet up with the rest of the ARC's.

Frog breathed out and frowned as he felt his suit reach it's limits. It had been quite a while since he'd worn it, but it still looked semi-decent on him. He'd bought a couple of new semi-formal suits for the mission, and he threw them in with what little other proper clothing he owned. Mixed in with all that was a couple of casual outfits and a dark coloured jumpsuit which shouldn't look too out of place with the other stuff.

Grabbing his spare wallet out of a draw, Frog put some of his credits in it, plus the access card and his ID. Apparantly he was supposed to be there trading art works with the local populace, for some other minor planetary museums. Putting his wallet in his pants pocket, and tucking the picture of their target into his jacket, he headed off to meet up with the others.

Raziel stared hard into his own green eyes. He was leant forward over his wash basin looking at himself in the mirror, almost as if by doing this he could really look within himself for the answers.
Assassination
A few months ago he would have held no apprehensions about hunting down and killing someone on Fury's orders, but now....now things were different. He had turned his back on that life. Some of Darsk's, the master assassin's last words rung through his mind.
You are a tool and a weapon. This is the life we chose, we cannot escape it.
Raziel had killed him and thought that that one act had brought and end to it, had shown that he was more than that now. Maybe that was not so and there was nothing else he was good for in life.
Raziel felt the cold ceramic surface of the basin pushing harder into his hands, his realised the muscles in his fingers were being crushed between the basin and his bones, the fibres rubbing across each other and snapping. He looked down at his bone white fingers and realised that he could not relax them. He looked back up into the mirror.
But he felt different now and that was what mattered. Or was it? If he chose not to accept this mission and flee wouldn't he be hunted down like this traitor Torlock. Raziel would be in the same situation that he thought he had escaped so many years ago.
But this was no innocent businessman whose only real crime was crossing the wrong path, none of those people had any idea just what they were getting themselves into. This man was a traitor, he had declared himself allied to the imperial cause and had betrayed them. He deserved what he got.
And anyway, Raziel thought to himself, his fingers loosening their grip, he could retire at any time. He could sign the right forms and leave this place an honourable soldier. He hammered the concept home into his mind like a nail. Again and again he did it until it sealed the lid on the coffin that held his greatest fears. For now anyway.
He let go of the basin, rubbed some feelings back into his hands and went back to work.

He had been working on his hair first of all. He plucked the hairs from above his temples first and after a few minutes had given himself a receding hairline. Next he had used some subtle and precise dyes to attack his roots with grey. Several painful injection to his face caused wrinkles to form around his eyes and forehead and his cheeks to swell slightly. He checked his image in the mirror many times until he was completely satisfied. When he was finished he had ages a good ten years of so, the subtle swellings around his face changed the way the shadows played across his him and altered his facial features sufficiently for the job.

He moved across to the other side of the room and pulled a small wooden box from a drawer. The box hissed as it was opened, revealing a thick and complex metal seal on the inside. Gingerly Raziel pulled several vials from the box and laid them down carefully beside him. Checking his gloves carefully for any sign of wear before starting, he then opened up the first vial. It contained a chemical that would paralyse anyone moments after contact with flesh. He opened a book he was taking with him and dabbed a particular page with the poison and memorised the number. It would be a quick process to get the absorbed poison back from the page. The second vial he was far more careful with. If this one touched his skin there would be no recovery. He opened up a data pad and removed an inconspicuous component. Using a pair of tweezers he dabbed it into the poison and then held it in the air, after he thought that it had dried enough he placed the component back in the datapad. Again a small amount of heat would turn the poison back to it's liquid form. That property was quite deliberate and artificial. Satisfied Raziel went about packing the rest of his stuff.

Only Afyon smiled widely and nodded as Raziel walked into the shuttle bay. Afyon had been around Raz far longer than the rest of the squad and knew his face far better, it also helped that Raziel had often told him that he had been taught how to alter his image quickly.
Only when Raziel got within a few feet of the rest of the squad and smiled did they manage to recognise him completely.
"I see you're all looking ready from some 'proper' work? Shall we go?" He said pointing towards their shuttle. How many times he had walked through a bustling space port.
"Get through the port as uneventfully as possible. I want you all to make little impression on anyone you meet I want you to fade from their memories the instant you leave. As of this moment none of you are interesting or have any interesting stories to tell. Neither are you particularly boring, if you're the butt of someone's jokes you're still remembered. Make idle conversation and lame excuses. And whatever you do don't get into any arguments." He looked at the younger members. "Gather as much info as you can upon arrival and meet as planned." Raziel looked around at the Arc's and smiled. This could be interesting.
"Oh and one of you has to kill him by the way, don't ask." He stepped aboard the shuttle.

Afyon picked up his suitcase and brought it onboard the shuttle. He set it down in the appropriate spot and sat down in one of the rather comfortable seats.  He took out his ID and looked it over one more time before turning to his teammates.  "Alright remember, when we land we split up and then meet up in pairs to begin the intel part of our mission.  Mandor, Ill pair up with you, meet me in the lounge of the spaceport.  Come in quietly, dont ask for my name, and have the waiter escort you to a booth.  Order a drink, sit for ten minutes then pay and leave, I will do the same thing.  We will headto the hotel, check in a seperate place and use a seperate elevator.  I will meet you in the stairwell between in the stairwell between the third and fourth floor."  Afyon laid out the plan before leaning back and resting a bit.  He wasn't quite sure how he was going to find some pistols but he was positive that if they frequented enough bars they may eventually find their man.  They were schedueled to arrive at 17:00 local time which would give them a full night to try out the bar angle.  Afyon figured they would try upper-class lounges and bars which were rather dim, that would be the perfect location for a traitor.  He thumbred through the credits in his wallet before putting it in his pocket and taking out his datapad.  He would play a game or two before getting some rest, it would be a long time before he slept again.

Frog took a seat next to Hashi, who was busy fiddling with his suit, trying to get it straight, "What say you and I team up, eh bud?"

Hashi looked over an grinned his acceptance, "Shame those pair are taking the cantina's though, searching them might have almost made up for the lack of firepower on this mission."

Frog snickered, "That's ok, we'll go check hotel reservations and see if we can find him, maybe some staff will get uppity with us and we can break their noses."

"We need to find us some pistols too, or at least a big stick to beat Torlock to death with," Hashi mused, patting his side sadly where his rifle would have hung.

"Shouldn't be any biggy, I'm sure we can confiscate some poor citizen's weaponry with reasonable ease," Frog smiled, "Head for the spaceport cantina when we land, I'll meet you there and we'll get acquainted with each other and decide to go looking for a decent hotel."

Hashi nodded his approval, and laid back for a quick rest as the shuttle began its lift off sequence.

Mandor sat with the rest of ARC on the transport as billions of stars streaked outside the hatch. He sat back and listened to the Iperial Orchastra, and watched as Rema moved his arms as if he was conducting the music himself. Mandor gave a small smirk.

"Hey Remy, should we get you a transfered with them so you can do that for real?"

"Ha! Very funny, dont't poke at me just because I have a civilized brain." Rema retorted

"Well sorta, I mean after all, we are trained to be the best killing machines in the galaxy,"

"Hmm good point" Remy said as he turned his back to Mandor and kept acting as a conductor.

Mandor looked about the ship at the other ARC members, and wondered about the statement Afyon made before entering the ship.

Mandor would have no qualms about slicing a mans throat open and watching him bleed like a pig on his boots, heck he might get a laugh out of it.

Mandor closed his eyes and continued to listen to Remy's orchestra play.

Raziel sucked in a deep breath of clean, fresh air. It was the chill of winter and it sent shivers down his whole body, refreshing him and sharpening his consciousness.
He started to walk through the streets of the relatively empty city streets, trying to take in the atmosphere around him. He checked his watch and realised they had arrived slightly ahead of schedule, the locals were probably all still at work. Deciding he would have to wait a bit before he could get the "Feel" of the area he headed for a less urbanised area for a stroll.
It wasn't long before the locals poured out of their offices and work places, flooding the streets with thick speeder traffic and pedestrians. Raziel realised just how easy it would be to keep a visual of the traitor. A great portion of the local population were Kiffar and every single one of them had brightly tattooed faces. Apparently they were something like a family crest, but they all looked to be basic bands of differing colours. It didn't take long before Fury's words rang loudly through his mind. "The fees paid to maintain such a prison population is more than adequate for a forgotten world on the Inner Rim" Raziel was getting just that kind of feeling from just taking in his surroundings
At the appointed time he entered the small cafe, heading straight for the counter to pick up some coffee in a cheap plastic cup. Taking a sip from his coffee he slyly looked around the room, eyes looking across the rim of the cup for an instant. The room was heaving with people, as he had hoped. Without looking at him Raz headed in the direction of Rema.
The locals were all too polite to ask the foreigner to move up and let someone sit down beside them. Raziel had no such qualms.
"Mind if I take a seat?" he asked, indicating Rema's coat sat on the window side of him. With barely a glance in Raz's direction he put the coat on his lap and slide across allowing Raziel to sit down.
"We need protection," was all he whispered to Rema. He sat silently, sipping on his coffee and started filling out a word game on the local news. He left the paper on the table and left. His feelings about the mission were put into code words for Rema, along with the address for a weapons merchant. The code for Mission could be difficult was directly underneath it.

Frog stood amongst the speeders in the shuttle bay parking lot, he'd carefully positioned himself so the information bay was around a corner and out of sight. Suddenly he caught sight of Hashi, who was attempting to get hotel information out of a parking ticket machine.

Frog wandered over to him, "Hey, mate, you were on the shuttle with me, weren't ya?"

"Uh, yeah, yeah I think I remember seeing you." Hashi said, looking slightly suspicious at Frog, who in return put on his biggest grin.

"I can't seem to find any damn hotel information around here, and you seem to be having the same problem, maybe we should team up? All these tattoed faces are making me jumpy!" Frog extended his hand to Hashi, "Name's Thomas, stranger, what about you?"

Hashi reluctantly put his hand out to shake Frog's, "Hashi... nice to meet ya."

------------------------

Half an hour later, they found themselves in the lobby of a small hotel a short speeder ride from the space port. The place was practically deserted, Frog had walked in first and was currently engaging the Kiffar behind the desk in conversation, or more accurately, trapping the poor man while he told the sob story about his poor long lost uncle who'd fled home, and how Frog was trying every hotel in town to try and find him. Meanwhile Hashi had managed to get a datapad rigged up to the information machine, and was downloading just about everything the hotel had.

They spent until night fall repeating the same trick, one distracts, the other takes liberties with the hotel's computer system, and were about to give up when they struck gold...

Hashi tapped the datapad wired up to the hotel information booth, a wide smirk on his face. He hit the jackpot. He plugged off the black cable rigged up to the booth and hastily hid the datapad in an oversized-pocket. Turning around, he whistled to Firefrog, who was busy crying croc tears with the man at the counter.

Firefrog walked over briskly, warily scanning the lobby to pick out any onlookers. Satisfied that they weren't any eavesdroppers around, he asked Hashi softly, "Whaddya find?"

Hashi's eyes twinkled and he replied airily, "Oh nothing much. Except for the exact location of Torlock and his family. Apparently, he's having a holiday at a posh hotel on the other side of town, with his wife and two kids."

Frog lifted an eyebrow and frowned. "Won't be easy taking him out. Remember, this is supposed to look like a petty, drunken murder case. Not a planned assasination. Enough to get us into jail, but not so that we get under high suspicion."

He had a point. Hashi immediately cancelled out any plans about nabbing the target in his room while he was asleep. It had to be in the hotel restaurant, or maybe a cantina, with alot of alcohol involved. Plus plenty of witnesses. Hell, a staged rowdy fight and a beer bottle over the head would suffice.

Nodding, Hashi slowly reached for his commlink. He thumbed a secret code and transmitted it to the other ARCs spread around the city. The brief code informed them of the latest intel. That done, he and Frog left the ruddy hotel and went out to look for a shop that sells cheap vibroblades or any other weapon they could conceal in their pockets.

Raziel nodded politely to the waiter who pulled his chair out for him. Raziel took his handed his jacket to the waiter and sat down for the third time this evening. The waiter smiled and turn to leave, but Raziel gently tugged at his sleeve.
"Oh very sorry sir, can I help?" he asked, smiling widely. This was the kind of service Raziel missed in the army.
"Yes I'm very sorry but I'm waiting for a client." He pulled a printed out photo from his jacket pocket. "Have you seen him yet?"
The waiter gently took the picture from Raziel's grasp and studied it. "No sir, but I tell you what! I'll give it to my colleague at the door and we'll tell him you're here!" The waiter grinned again and took the photo of Torlock to the door man who sat it down on his lectern next to the bookings list.

Raziel gently held the account card he had been given for the mission, although he had eaten a full, and rather expensive, meal at the first restaurant he had ordered some fine drinks and eaten some light delicacies at the others. He browsed through the wine list, he didn't really know anything about wine he just picked the once with a relatively high price tag.
An un-tattooed off-world waiter came up to him and ever so politely took his order. The food was so good, he was always comfortable and the softly spoken waiters just relaxed him even further. Maybe the squad should play this mission out as best they good and then complete it as soon as Fury stopped them accessing credits.
His miniscule earpieces hissed into life, suddenly. Raziel looked about the room very quickly before settling back down into his seat. The comms were emergency use only. That meant either the traitor had been found or something had gone horribly wrong. Raziel's smile grew wider and wider as he heard the message. He started to get up and leave when he realised that Torlock was walking straight towards him, waiter following at his heels.
Raziel stayed standing and smiled. He had absolutely no idea what to do now.
"Hello!" he greeted. "Can I get you a drink?" He was sure that he was in trouble now. Unsurprisingly Torlock looked somewhat confused.
"I hear the correllian ale is watered down..." He grimaced and looked around, even more confused. "...here."
"I'm sorry sir, but we do no serve corr..."
"A bottle al alderaanian red please," Raziel interrupted. The waiter shrugged and waddled off. Raziel gestured for Torlock to sit.
"I thought we were supposed to meet at that hole in the ground called 'Overcharged blaster'" Torlock said, looking partly perplexed. A hint of anger was beginning to simmer to the surface. Suddenly Raziel understood.
Torlock had been on his way to a meeting with some agent and Raziel's waiter had called him in. Obviously now he thought Raziel was the agent.
"Don't you feel that this is better?" Raziel smiled, sweeping his arm out wide to indicate the restaurant.
"Yes! But you gave the doorman a picture of me! I didn't think you were supposed to know what I looked like?!" Torlock hissed.
"Oh don't worry about that, I'll get it back and there are no imps here." Raziel replied casually. He had to take control of this situation or else it would go terribly wrong.
"I don't know, but I've heard things. I've heard of death squads being organised and..."
"If it bothers you that much we'll move you," Raziel said, trying to look as un phased as possibly.
    "Really?" Torlock asked.
"Of course, the information you have given us has been quite..." Raziel realised that Torlock's eyebrows had come closer together in yet another expression of confusion.
"I mean the information you will give us will be very useful," Raziel corrected.
    "If..." Tolock started.
"Yes of course if," Raziel smiled. "I do apologise I shouldn't have messed you around like this." Raziel pulled a hefty sum of credits from his pocket and handed them over.
"Why don't you enjoy your meal here now and go back to your hotel room I'll come get you in the morning," Or sooner... Raziel silently added.
"No thanks," Torlock said pushing the credits back. He stood up and took his coat. "If you don't want to talk about the plans now then I don't want to waste my time." He stood up curtly, turned on his heel and left.

While he drank his wine Raziel tried to figure out the best course of action. The fact that his wife and children were here brought back too many painful memories and he knew for sure that he wouldn't directly be able to have a hand in Torlocks death.
Raziel walked to the nearest public data access point and closed the door behind him. He pulled the emergency comm. unit from his pocket and thumbed it into life.
"All squad proceed to targets hotel the 'Lady luck' I've just met him and he is on his way. ETA twenty minutes, so move fast. I'll meet you there afterwards and get myself arrested. There are some New Republic agents around that I'm going to take care of first. Good luck!"
Raziel pulled a pen from his pocket, as well as the datapad containing the lethal poison.

Unfortunately he had not witnessed three well-trained bodyguards fall in behind Torlock as he left the restaurant.

Mandor and Afyon where in the "Turned Nerf" cantina when the messages had come over their emergency coms. They looked at each other and slowley made their way out of the bar, one following the other 3 minutes post.

Mandor pulled out his data pad and looked at the map on the screen. The "Lady Luck" was only about 10 minutes away. Mandor sent the information to Afyon's data pad, and continued walkin down the street. He enjoyed looking at the faces of the people here. All of the natives had strangely beautiful tatoos on their faces. Some had lines of different colors accrosed their faces, while others had a simple "X" or other simple designs on their cheeks.

Mandor made it to the hotel about 7 minutes before Torlock was appointed to arrive. He walked accross the street to a coffee shop and sat down. He ordered a mocha late, and sat down at a table outside. He pulled out a device and attached it to the top of his data pad. He could pretend to be reading his data pad, as he actually snapped photos and observed the area around him.

Mandor saw Afyon apear in front of the hotel and scurry into the lobby. Mandor was hoping Afyon was using this time to find out what room Torlock would be staying in.

Mandor saw Torlock approaching 3 minutes later, and snapped several photos of him, his auntorage, and their weapons. They stayed about 3 meters behind him and tried to blend in with the crowd. They had dual DH-44 pistoles each, and a schethe holding something he couldnt recognize.

After Mandor snapped the photos, he sent them to the other ARC members. They knew now what they would be going up against.

Rema hated incompetent creatures.
After Raziel had left the café earlier in the day, Rema walked around pretending to examine local art and people. He stopped by a body art museum and added some interesting local items to his datapad. After that he meandered around and made his way to the weapon merchant that Raziel and given him the address to. It was beginning to get cold outside and the wind was blowing softly but was increasing. A front was coming through.

Rema had picked up his pace, but not enough to attract attention. He had entered a large courtyard that served as a market. Large crowds of people hovered from booth to booth looking at the wares. Rema had stopped before one and pretended to jot something down in hit datapad, when in truth he had been checking his map.

He made his way through the crowd, and spotted a small run down building at the edge of the marketplace. A sign above it showed what must be a local animal and a gun shooting it. Rema decided it must be the Weapon Merchant. He strolled to the building, but stopped when he got Raziel's message.

Now Rema was standing inside the shop waiting for the foolish storekeeper to do something. The shopkeep was a local with tattoos on him but was short and seemed to be poorly educated.

"Um, i was wondering if you had any small weapons for sale? Im heading out of the city and would like some protection." Rema said blandly.

"Yes yes right away sir, come please look at my fine wares! You wont find a better shop in town i do assure you sir!" the shopkeeper spouted. Rema casually looked at some of the smaller firearms and noticed a pair of Hold-Out slugthrower pistols.

"Ahh, you seemed to have found something yes yes?"

"How much for the pair of Hold-Outs?" Rema questioned.

"2000 Credits. They are good and powerful, my new stuff yes yes."

Rema checked his wallet and then nodded. The shopkeeper fumbled around getting the forcefield blocking the weapons down and then getting ammo for the guns.

"Now all you need to do is fill out form for local police yes yes."

Rema frowned and realized that wasnt going to do. He placed another 5000 credits on the table and looked at the shopkeep. Rema was glad he stopped and withdrew extra money from the account Fury set up. He had a feeling he would need it. The shopkeeper looked up at him and smiled obviously knowing what Rema meant. He nodded and handed the two pistols over to Rema.

Walking out the door Rema stuffed one pistol into the back of his pants and the other in his suitcase he was carrying around. Rushing off towards the Lady Luck, Rema checked his map and saw he was only about 3 minutes away. He picked up his pace as thunder boomed in the distance.

[OOC]Did we all fall asleep?[/OOC]

Mandor saw the message blip upon his data pad "Get into party hall at "Lady Luck" now!"

Mandor sipped the last of his drink, put the datapad in his pocket and walked twords the hotel. He entered through the front doors, and walked to the counter.

"Hello how may i help you?" the Manager said to him

"Yes, which hall is Torlock's party in again?" Mandor replied calmly.

"Ahh, it's in Hall 3, to the end of the hall on my left."

Mandor thanked the man and walked down the hall into the party. He saw Afyon walking around casing the subject. Mandor walked to the bar and ordered some Whiskey, and dropped some alchohol neutralizers in.

After about 10 minutes at the bar he ordered another, and saw the rest of ARC enter the room, excluding Raz. They made their way around the hall acting inconspicuas. After about 20 minutes walking around the hall Mandor raised his hands and stretched, the signal that they would shortley kill the target.

The ARC's made their way to the bar and started ordering drinks. After each of them had a few shots they made their way in Torlock's deriction. Mandor looked at Afyon and started walking twords him. When Mandor got to where Afyon was, he stuck his shoulder into the mans chest hard.

"Watch where you go, you Ash" Afyon faked a slure as he spoke.

"Why dont ya watch where YOU goo, you Bantha PooDoo" Mandor spat back.

"O ya" Afyon said as he shoved Mandor

Mandor took a swing at Afyon hitting him in the chest. The ARC members started to push twords the fight shoving Torlock closer. Afyon swung for Mandor's head, but missed hitting Rema instead. Rema joined the melee swinging wildly, as the rest of arc started in pushing Torlock even closer.

As Mandor recovered from a blow to the left temple by Hashi, he noticed the Body Gaurds moving closer. Mandor ran at Afyon, as Mandor swung for Afyons head, Afyon ducked. Mandor kept going with the punch, it connected with Torlocks throat. Torlock began to choke and hold his throat.

Rema pulled out his pistole and blasted hitting Torlock in the head.

Torlock slumped to the floor and stopped moving. The body gaurds, having people in front of them, couldnt fire. Instead they rushed the ARC's plowing them over the heads, the stomach, and the backs with their weapons. The ARC's fell to the floor feining injury.

One of the gaurds yelled "Get them in hear get these scum out of here, NOW!"

The hall was now filled with a decent combination of screaming individuals, trying desperately to flee from the sound of firearms, and brawling drunks, trying to enjoy the fight before it was broken up.

Frog was lying on the ground where one of the bodyguards had shoved him, a quick boot to his stomach from the guard had Frog on his back, a blaster pistol in his face.

"You scum," the guard spat, and if his tone didn't indicate trouble, the sneer on his face did, "Hearding Torlock towards your buddies, and then blocking our line of sight, you might think you're clever, but you have no idea who you're up against, you're nothing but sloppy amateurs next to us."

Frog didn't bother stopping to engaged in conversation, pulling his feet up and launching himself, he slammed his boots right into the guard's chin, knocking him to the floor, which got the attention of the other two guards, who brought their weapons to bare on Frog.

Quick as a flash, Hashi grabbed a couple of ale bottles, and threw them at the guards, one finding a chest, the other one slamming into the poor guy's head. With their attention unfocused, Hashi slipped back into the crowd, and while the pair were looking for their assailant, Frog got himself involved in the continuing brawl.

Outside the sound of sirens was getting louder, they should be well on their way to lockdown in no time, and with no real witnesses to say who shot who, they shouldn't be in for much more then drunken brawling either.

Rema made mental note to place laxatives in all the ARC's victory meal when they got back. Well, if they got back. Every single ARC had hit Rema as he entered the brawl. He had vowed his revenge.

Finally at the right moment, everyone was in place and he pulled his guns. He pretended to get tackled by Raziel, but really was handing him his gun. Getting up, Rema took a swing at Afyon as he ran past him decking a bodyguard. A frightened figure tried to dash out of the room but was caught in the neck by Mandor's punch. It was Torlock.

Rema aimed his gun from the hip and fired. The slug hit its point; Torlock was dead before he even began to fall. Dropping to the ground and throwing the gun away, Rema kicked the legs out from under a man about the swing a punch at Hashi. As soon as he did that he regretted it. The human brawler, who must have had surgery because he was so bulky, landed right on Rema knocking the wind out of him. Lying there dazed, Rema could hear sirens and loud shouts as police officers came running in. Further chaos ensued as the policed opened up with stun bolt fire.

Rema watched as the wall of stun bolts cut down almost 50 people. Mandor and Afyon both took almost three shots before they collapsed to the ground. Raziel tackled two officers but was wrestled to the ground and stunned by four more police officers. Finally Hashi and FireFrog charged the group but only succeeded in taking down a few before they too fell to the stun fire.

The police walked through the scene picking up and dragging brawlers into hovervans. As two officers walked over Rema, he swung his leg and knocked one over into the other, pushing himself up he grabbed the two officers guns and stunned them. Rema stood fully turning around and bringing his guns to bear on the other officers. As he made his turn and stopped to fire, a hail of stun bolts whizzed around him and smashed his body. He remembered seeing Torlock's children and wife running into the room as he fell into the blackness.

Kuin had been slowly working on a nice snifter of brandy for the better part of two hours when he saw two of the ARC members run past him on the way to the Lady Luck.  The Sullen Wookie had none of the charm of the primo establishment frequented by Torlock, but the prices were a lot more reasonable.

In any case, bad form or not, the ARCs were moving in on their target.  Kuin was now on the clock.  Finishing his drink and leaving an unmemorable tip, he strolled down the street in the general direction of the Lady Luck.  Ducking into a boarded-up storefront, the shop had experienced an unusual but devastating fire a week ago, he held his hands up as he entered the hollowed-out shopfront.  "Its me," he muttered.

Two armed men slowly lowered their blasters as a slicer jumped down from a hammock and looked at him.  "Now?"

A volley of blaster shots echoed from the cantina three doors down.  Kuin nodded.  The slicer reached over to his slicing rig and triggered his program.  Emergency comm calls made throughout a three block area were effectively jammed.  The only police that were going to be able to respond were those walking the local beat.  He'd keep up the jamming for about five minutes, which should give the ARCs enough time to complete their mission and get into enough capital crimes to get sent off to the prison planet next door.

Kuin got a thumbs-up from the tech.  "Clear out in five," he instructed to the muscle-in-charge.  "I'll meet you at the ship.  I have to go be an innocent bystander now," he said as he handed over his quick draw holster and blasters.

The overcharged blaster was a much less desirable place than the restaurant where he had collared Torlock. Disreputable was the best word that came to Raziels mind as he stepped through the door, he edged towards a corner and sat down quietly. He got the odd strange look, but after all people who survive in places like this tend to have exceptional survival instincts. There was just something about this over dressed tourist that said 'Don't even think about it'
He gingerly pulled the pen from his coat pocket, making sure that it didn't come anywhere near any exposed skin. He didn't care to think what would happen if it did.
It didn't take him long to single out the new republic agent. He was the one sat on his own, looking more and more impatient every second. It also helped that someone else was standing a few metres behind him watching very closely.
Amateurs thought Raz
He wandered over to the table and smiled at him. When the agent realised no introduction was forthcoming he started.
"Can I get you a drink?"
"Well I hear the corellian ale is watered down here,"
"Maybe a blue then?" the agent asked. Panic. He hadn't got that far with Torlock. Yes or no which could it be.
"That would probably be ok," Raziel said slowly. Mentally he breathed a sigh of relief, the agent seemed satisfied. Raz sat down opposite the agent and started to twirl then pen around between his gloved fingers. Noting that the agent had no gloves.

"So you have decided a new line of work is in order?" the agent asked as a waitress sat an ale in front of Raziel.
"Well I have to say I was feeling a bit lonely," he smiled.
"Well we could always do with a worker of your...calibre" Raziel downed the pint as he talked.
"MY family needs protecting," Raziel hissed through his teeth, feigning impatience.
"You don't know what they'll do to them!" he continued. The agent sighed and gave him a sympathetic look.
"We are well aware of what the imperials do to their traitors. Trust me we can help you." At that moment Raziel seemed to lose control of the pen and it slipped through his fingers to land at the agents feet. He smiled and leant down to grasp then pen by the shaft, he sat upright again and handed it to Raziel who smiled. That gives me about thirty seconds. he thought. That was if the fast acting poison had got through his skin.
"Sorry but I really have to go," Raziel said. indicating the bathroom.
"Sure," the agent said. but the sideways look to his companion did not go unnoticed on Raziel.

As soon as he was through the toilet door, the second man who had been watching from the bar placed his drink down and headed after him. He swung the door open casually and walked in. he stopped still for a moment, realising that Raziel had gone. He started to turn to go back out to the bar and talk to his partner, but out of nowhere something struck him hard in the side of the head. His vision blurred as he fell to the side, hitting the wall heavily. He struck out at his assailant, but strong arms wrapped around his fist and flung him headfirst into the other wall. All he could do was hope for his partner to follow them in when he felt those same arms wrap around his neck.
With a twist Raziel snapped the thugs neck and let him fall limply to the floor. A scream from back in the bar indicated that his poison had indeed taken effect. He searched the agents body and found just some credits and a small pistol, which he pocketed. Without pausing for a second Raziel left by the toilets and headed for the Lady Luck.

He walked into the Lady Luck, hoping that the job would be finished already and he could just put a few punches in and be done with it. Instead the brawl was just starting and Torlock was still standing. He felt the grip on his pistol and knew that killing him would open up to many old wounds. Instead he charged into the fray and tackled rema to the ground, passing the pistol across to him. Soon it was done, Mandor had crushed the man's larynx with a punch and Rema had finished it with one shot. The body guards started to lay into them knocking them to the floor and doing their best to keep them there.
When the sounds of sirens started to get louder Raziel kicked out at a bystanders legs and sent himself skidding along the floor out of reach of one of the bodyguards. The guard turned and started to push through the crowd after Raziel. In his mind Raz was no threat, the slender, five foot tall man had nothing on his massive physique. He craned his neck looking for his target when a fist shout out of nowhere and smashed his nose. Seeing Raziel once again he started to lash out, but suddenly the other was a blur and Raziel's arm swept under his face and walloped his jaw upwards in a unexpectedly powerful uppercut. Stubbornly the body guard lashed out again, but his trunk-like arm sailed over Raziel's shoulder and he screamed as the little man stuck him and the elbow and broke all his tendons.
He leant forwards, hoping to crush the smaller man under his bulk. Instead he found himself flying over Raziel's shoulder towards the bar. He hit the solid bar like a rock and collapsed in a heap. Raziel landed over him, feet either side of his head, knife in hand. In one movement he thrust his knife down between the incapacitated man's ribs and ended his life.
That was when the first stun bolt thundered past him. He jumped at the bar and then bounced back off of it and tremendous speed, launching his small frame into two policemen. They caught him between them and twisted his arms behind his back, knocking the knife from his grip. Unable to move Raziel just listened to the sound of a stun gun being picked off of the floor and waited for the pain. Crackling blue lightening filled his vision as his consciousness escaped him.

He awoke some time later. Securely bound by magnetically linked cuffs, but still in the Lady Luck's bar. Through his still foggy vision he managed to see all of the ARCs and a few of the more violent bystanders who had joined the fight laid down beside him. Across the room from him Torlock and the bodyguard he had stabbed were being zipped up in black bags.
To his left several officers were still aiming their blasters, whilst their leader queried some of the innocents. One of the men in the queue to talk to him winked at him. Raziel regarded him more carefully and chuckled to himself. Fury wasn't leaving any of this to chance. He closed his eyes and let his throbbing head loll back to rest against the bar. He overheard the conversations, but tried to rest and not actually listen.
"Yeah that was the one who shot him! That one there!"
"Those two seemed to be protecting the one who shot him!" another gruff voice. Probably another bodyguard.
"Yes I saw all six of those men involved, none of the others seemed to be up to much to tell the truth. Don't know what that big guy was on about, paranoid conspiracy theorist probably." That was possibly the one who had winked at him.
"That one there! He got Jim! He must have tripped or something, but then that b****** stabbed him!" Raziel let his eyelids open a fraction to look down the length of an accusing finger at another bodyguards face.

Yes they'd all be safely locked up soon

Mandor sat on the transport with his arms and legs securly fastened. He looked around at the other ARC's sitting with him, and noticed they all seemed to have a glow about them. He thought he almost saw smiles on a couple of their faces.

They where seated two to a row, and two rows, with an isle through the middle of them for gaurds to walk through. There where two gaurds on the tiny ship. There was one in the front of all of them, and another that walked up and down the isle like a nervous parent.

Mandor could see the planet in front of them through the cockpit window. It was smaller then Mandor had originally thought. They could all see, and they all noticed the massive grey blot staring at them like a giant eye."That must be where we're headed"

Mandor looked accross the isle at Frog and saw him staring at the planet with a look of myrth on his face.

They began their fall into the planet, and Mandor just sat back and closed his eyes. He always hated this part, but he tried not to let the impending feeling of bursting into flame bother him.

Raziel spotted Rema across the width of the dining room, but only offered a slight nod in recognition. Raziel waited his turn in the line obediantely. There was right now no need to cause a fuss and he really wanted to stretch his arms. When he got to the front a heavily built guard undid his magnetically sealed wrist cuffs and another passed him a tray and gently shoved him in the direction of the kitchen. As he joined yet another queue for the slop that would be his lunch his stretched his arms out wide and sighed.

He sat down at the table where he eat every day with the rest of the ARC group. He eat in silence with Rema whilst waiting for the rest of the group. None of the more violently inclined inmates bothered them any more after a single move on Raziel's part. Raz looked to his left where the brute sat, hand and eye still bandaged. It had only taken one blindingly fast grip and strike and the respect had been earned.

"I say we do something crazy and get ourselves busted down to maximum security, i bet thats where our targets will be!" Mandor spoke in hushed tones. In medium security they didnt bother listening in on conversations, but still it was best to be safe.
"For all our sakes i hope they aren't," Raziel remembered vividly the journey into the maximum security section that the staff used as a warning to potential trouble makers.
He had been shaking like a leaf as the life descended a mile below the surface. Then there had been the four foot high, dark tunnels patrolled by menacing guard droids. He had tried to pay attention to his surroundings and try and pick out weaknesses, but it had been too much on a nightmare. He shuddered at the thought of it and blocked out the sounds of the imprisoned in his mind.
"And i don't think they'd be any use to anyone if they've been down there the past few months," Raziel added.
"Right then. What do we do?" Afyon asked.
"It has been nine days without word!" Firefrog put in.
"We wait....we watch and we wait." Raziel winked at them. He knew they had all been building up their owns plans for escape the moment they had stepped inside.

It had been a long week of trying to track the ARC team's whereabouts.  Even trying to pose as a witness hadn't helped as there were plenty of local eyewitnesses whose statements counted more than one visiting freighter crewer.

In any case, it was the most exciting thing to have happened out here in recent memory.  Sliding a tip to a local holojournalist revealed that Torlock was an Imperial traitor.  Subsequent "tips" helped prosecutors believe the ARCs to be nothing more than various businessmen gone out of control, not any people the Empire would be miffed about losing. Basically, they weren't considered to be military or hired bounty hunters.  Needless to say, bringing a slicer along on this mission was becoming very fruitful.  For the slicer anyways; he was contracted on a per-task basis.

Eventually Kuin had found out that a hastily assembled tribunal had been thrown together and had tried the six ARCs and four others as guilty of murder, civil disturbance and a few other uninteresting charges.  Seeing as the situation was such that professional killers couldn't have mangled it so badly, all accused were measured as belligerent drunks and sentenced to a varying amount of years on Kiffex.  Mandor almost got a few months on Kiffu until he slugged a bailiff and got the off-world sentence as a reward.

Basically, they were detained in one of the main prison facilities on the planet.  Learning from such horror shows like Ord Vaxal, where the most violent of violent of prisoners had taken over the planet, Kiffex had the standard complement of prisoner villages where the condemned lived out their lives.  The worst offenders, however, lived in total isolation in a variety of secure facilities.  It was harsh but necessary to the continuance of order.

If they played their cards right, the ARCs would be able to get released into the biggest of the prisoner communities, called Deadend.  This was the only true spaceport on the planet and usually prisoners could get work in the marketplace, offloading the goods needed to run the prison and loading the few products and ores the planet managed to produce from the cheap labor pool it had.  Kuin was charged with setting up a shell company of Kiffex and was looking to get some hired help to cover the local work crews.

At least, that was the line he had sold the Guardians of Kiffu to get permission to land on Kiffex and rent a building in Deadend.

After Mandor had been processed and registered with the system, he was pushed into a large hanger like room, with men on podiums shouting out prisoner numbers.

"Prisoner 50195" A tall man on the podium yelled.

Mandor walked to the front of the group to the equipment desk. He got his junk from the woman working the equipment desk, gave her a look over and walked outside of the hanger to another line.

Mandor waited in the line for around 2 hours, to be asigned a prison village.

"Prisoner 50195, Transport 4, Deadend" The short husky man spat out from between chunky lips.

Mandor walked to the transport, jumped on the top with some of the other prisoners. They where all rough looking fellows, with a few dog ugly women.

The transport began to move about 20 minutes after mandor had gotten on top, and he almost fell off as it jolted forward.

They arived at Deadend after 3 hours of fast driving. They all disembarked from the sturdy transport and made there way into the city.

Mandor was hoping he would find the rest of the ARC's sometime in the near future.

Afyon heard his number called and was ushered over to transport two which was also heading to the Deadend section of the prison planet.  As he was ushered into the transport he was given orders of who to report to once on the planet.  It seemed that he had picked him for loading duty since he was told he was built like a worker.  Afyon was glad they referred to him as that and not as a soldier, would have seemed rather strange for a so-called business man to be built like a soldier instead of some pansy-ass executive.

Afyon sat down on the cold metal seat and sighed.  He didnt like have his hands in clasps and he was warm in the cramped transport.  It was obvious that there were a lot of criminals on Kiffu, he was sure Kiffex must be a full planet.
Afyon shifted in his seat and sat back to enjoy the ride as best he could.  It was going to be an unpleasent time at the planet and he knew he would have to be alert and observant at all times in order to figure out everything he could about the planet itself, its defences, procedures, etc.  He had no idea what the mission was but he knew his observation skills would be key.

How Rema loathed being a prisoner. He knew he could kill every single guard that had pushed him around or shocked him with a stun baton, but he couldnt. At least not until their mission was fully revealed. So until then he had to wait, watch and remember. Earlier in the morning he was shoved onto a hovertrain that was to take him to a prisoner camp. He had walked arrogantly onto the train while the rest of the prisoners cowered and wispered about "Deadend". He assumed that was the place he was destined, and figured the rest of ARC was as well. He sat back and tried to relax a little bit before he would be ultimately thrown into something he felt wasnt going to be pretty.

"Okay you scum, no sitting down the entire way! I hope you enjoy the four hour trip!"

Rema quietly stood and added that guard to the "To Kill" list.

Mandor jumped from the transport, and walked calmly to the line. There was another man on another platform yelling out prisoner numbers.

When Mandor heard his prisoner number yelled, he walked to the man. You will be working at compound number 007. Report there immediatly for duties.

Mandor read the signs, and found his way to compound 007. It was an extremely small builing. A little larger then a closet with a door. As he approached, he saw the rest of the ARC's standing there talking to a man.

"Well its about god damn time jackass" Raziel.

"Sorry, got cought up in some rough lines" Mandor said with a smile.

"Well lets act like we are Working" Rema said sarcasticly

"Umm, how about we talk about what is going on" Mandor said

"Man, you are really out of the loop arent you kid?" FireFrog said.

"Guess so..."  Mandor said

"Okay, well Fury sent this guy to give us an excuse to get close to the targets" Afyon said

"And the excuse would be what exactly" Mandor said sheepishly

"Dear god allmighty, We are going to act like we are working for this guy, we are going to unload "supplies" for the prison. Actually, in reality we are going to be unloading our equipment" Rema said

"Im not even going to ask how you are getting that crap past the checkpoints" Mandor said

Kuin watched as yet another binary load lifter carefully deposited another stack of building materials onto the back lot of the warehouse facility he had rented for Imperial Center.

Thus far he had been trading commercial goods for local manufactures, one of them being metal beams and a local variant of permacrete.  Having  invested in a small firm, he now had the license to make solid construction blocks - as long as they held the local firm's logo.  With all the prison workers on the planet, the need for housing and industrial construction was surprisingly brisk.  Now, besides turning a small profit, he needed to get some ARCs in here to make some key deliveries for him.

His team had already encased one slugthrower into a block and had tried to use every detection device known to the Guardians of Kiffu to detect it.  Hell, they'd even used Imperial methods and it just looked like a block of dark sandstone with a high ferrous content.

Good stuff for resisting weathering...and for smuggling Acklay 12s.

Pulling up a datapad, he went over the rogue's gallery the ARCs were supposed to spring from a high security encampment 40 klicks to the northwest of Deadend.

Alvak, T.
an Imperial Pilot, Alvak graduated with honors from the Imperial Naval Academy on Prefsbelt IV before becoming a well-decorated officer. He was a TIE Fighter pilot, serving with the Solaset Fleet.  Eventually becoming an ace squadron leader, he was reknowned for his tactics before being shot down and captured soon after the Battle of Endor.

Banolt, Lirin
also known as Bruhas Drey, Ran Nammom, and Kier Dom, this conman often posed as an Imperial Procurement Officer, offering exclusive contracts in return to huge bribes. He worked for Sate Pestage, stealing antique art and weapons for the Imperial dignitary's personal collection. The New Republic believes him dead, but we know his to be prisoner Tel Drathman. He is very useful for his local and off-world contacts.

Dallin, Jace
this man was a member of Ranulph Tarkin's command circle, during the era of the Stark Hyperspace War. After seeing the xenophobia inherent in Tarkin and Palpatine, he sided with anti-Imperial forces during the Civil War.  Jaded by the New Republic, he is considered a tactical asset that would be willing to work with a more open-minded Empire.

Darron, Vict
this former Imperial Navy officer threw in his lot with Delak Krennel, when Krennel fled Imperial service and took control of the Ciutric Hegemony. Commander Darron was given command of the Direption in order to secure the borders of the Hegemony, but on the condition that he raze the village on Liinade III which the ship's former commander, Captain Rensen, refused to destroy. Darron believed that the loss of life was as vile as Rensen did, and arranged for the inhabitants to evacuate the village before the bombardment occurred. Darron later fought with valor but eventually surrended his fleet to the New Republic in a later defense of Liinade.

Luies, Renea
this native of Shesharile 5 learned the ways of graft and corruption early in his career. He started working as a starport officer in the Shesharile System, working his was up to the position of Captain of the Port. He was loyal only to himself, and cared little for the Old Republic or the Empire.  Eventually case out by elements favorable to the New Republic, he was imprisoned by what he claims are false charge.

Luies alone has the means to safely deliver all escaped prisoners off-world.

There was to be another list with a few more notables on it, but given the time constraints, this mission might have been too big for what was left to be done.

Either way, Kuin was starting to get that uncomfortable feeling again.
