"Frelling sons of banthas," muttered Kuin.

Impatiently waiting for someone to spring him from his cell, Renea Luies and some of his newly recruited gang had busted out of their secure facility and had shown their faces in Deadend.  One of their runners had walked into the warehouse offices rented by IC's front company and had passed over a datapad for Kuin's eyes only.

Luies had gone offworld and the Guardians of Kiffu were locking down their security practices to make sure it didn't happen again.  Not only that, but Luies had passed over one hell of a pile of detailed information concerning the majority of a planetary population that had been deported to this planet.  Political prisoners in a deal that made both the New Republic and Remnant look bad. This info needed to get back home and pronto.

Kuin kicked things into overdrive. First he had to retrieve and destroy the false construction blocks and the weapons within.  Second, he had an agent on Kiffu submit evidence that the ARC team members were agents of the New Republic targetting a valid Imperial intelligence operative.  There was an offer of a very large bribe to a couple officials to go along with the fabricated story.

As he was handing off control of the new operation to local contractors - something profitable had to come of this fiasco - he heard news that the ARC members had been released into the custody of the NR "agent" on Kiffu.

The prisoners were stuck for the time being, the mission was a bust for the ARCs.  At least he had turned a few credits and made some contacts that might be handy in the near future.
