I'll agree - if evolution is the least bit real, if dinosaurs were laying eggs first, then the egg probably came before the chicken. But maybe we're all just dumb and our scientists don't have a clue what they're talking about. Either way, it doesn't really matter, cause I'm not a chicken and I didn't hatch from an egg.  -----------------------

I can't stand this question, becuase I can never answer it!!! I really don't know. I think I've figured out pretty nicely the meaning of life, but I just cannot answer this damn question!!! You need a chicken to lay and egg, but you need the egg to give way to the chicken. It's very confusing. I dunno...I can't figure out any lineage of animals anyway, so I really can't answer this question...good topic though.

I think that the egg came first because anyone can lay on a egg and it hatches. Chickens don't have to lay on it i think. I also think that chickens evolved from a dinosaur and the dinosaur made the egg hatch and it was a chicken and i am not making any sense so i'll shut up. |

What does it matter? I'm sorry, that's just my opinion on it. Let's settle the important issue of creation vs evolution(one that actaully affects us) before we move on to stuff that just confuses people. With this in mind, I'd like to say that the egg came first and evolved into a chicken  -----------------------
