    I don't want this seeming like I'm just being a rebel, that's really not the case.  I think it's a bit outrageous...  Kicking someone out shortly after they've already been punished for their bad deeds... 
      Number one, I figured there was something other than his rampage that was being brought into view, plus you already fined him for it.  I figured that was his punishment.  Not to mention he did appolgize. 
    And...  Telling me that I was short-sighted is certainly a bit wrong...  I read nearly every single one of those post that were made public.  I spose I'm just as short sighted as everyone else than, including Japheth and the others... 
    Note though, when someone is put into distrust or has a problem in my flight, I tend to do something about it.  I understand his racist comments are something, but so is your idea of insanity.  Your little Hitler joke isn't funny to me...  Set a better example if you think that he or anyone else was outa hand... 
    As unlinked as that may seem, you'd be surprised.  Like I said, not trying to start something.
    And I suppose I understand Japheth needed to do something about it.  But let's atleast review the facts...

    I can't really understand how you guys got the idea in your minds that he's some sadistic racist...  Your quite wrong they're.  Even if he's a pain, might I suggest that we let him back on.
    However, if he is seen posting a racist comment of any kind, or has any racist or discrimating material connected with him, you may deal out your punishings.  I think that his punishment was a bit extreme, and I don't really know anything about repeated reprimands.  I'll be sure to ask him about it though.
    Not trying to be disrespectful, but you don't really seem to have that much on him.  He was fined for his misuse of the comnet, but he was also forgiven by a good amount of the members...  I think he can be dealt with without such extreme action.  And if I can't do anything about it this time, I'll make sure to do better the next time.
    However, if this turns into a big huge long posting argument, I request that you immedietly delete this thread.  It's a bit demorilizing to watch superiers fight with flightmembers or vise versa for this matter.
    I will just have to carry on in e-mails.

    I think Rema was a bit more off to the side about all this, but his approach is certainly the one I suggested above.
    I'm certainly not willing to have racial comments in any club I'm associated with, but I am realistic.  I've talked to Chath about his little idea of fun, but you should all keep yours in mind too.  While many of you feel that racism is at the top of the list right now, I should warn you I don't think your sexist jokes are funny either.  Fury once told me if I complained about how someone had made a cruel sexuel joke on mIRC...  That I shouldn't report it. 
    I've posted about this before.  There were quite a few view there too...  We obviously have to outlaw some of this crap.  You might as well start writing up a list.

    Alright.  I will only take one more step.  Maybe Kadaan will have some trust of some kind.  Dare I say sence...  This might very well turn into some kind of mob union after all.  And all it took was a few minutes...  Hmph.

Seriously, find it and send it to me. And not just a piece of the log, the whole thing.  I want to know the environment in which I supposedly said this.  You want to start putting words in my mouth I don't remember saying, you need to bring some evidence to the table.

I was going to leave this alone but you can't seem to.  Japheth has set the ground rules and the situations and the conditions and still you sit here bitching and moaning about "poor little Chatham".  The guy contributed no positive gain to this club.  He was more trouble than he was worth.  Same thing with Vukan/Swomz. 

I am all in favor of Japheth's actions.  He even took the time to ask the entire HC and other division head types of whether or not it would be proper for him to take this course; a courtesy I frankly might not have thought of.

He's got HC sign-off on this.  Kindly quell your arguments unless you want to start making yourself a target as a non-valuable member to the club.

As for my not being one to allow a mistake, I have been patient with quite a few people and I have always gotten burned on it.  Swomz being a prime example.  The Navy did not want him, I took him at his word and I eventually ended up regretting that decision.  Swomz was a cancer to both divisions and had a hand in having my email account cracked and deleted and the security of our club database hacked by a disgruntled former member that Swomz tried to re-enlist.

So, you can kiss my butt if you think I conduct business without proper motivation.  Dissent just to hear yourself speak is of no use to us. If you don't like it, there are other clubs out there a whole lot less lenient than we are.  You are more than welcome to go find that out.
