I will not be disbanding the Navy division.  The only problem I see with the Navy right now is that there is no strong command staff to run it.  Without proper command, members will wander about aimlessly not knowing what to do.  Therefore the members will become bored and not care to participate.  You as commanders must rekindle this spark of activity and motivation.

Here is what I would like to see happen.  I would like the Naval command to become strong once again.  It will definately take some work to get it to this status as nothing is a walk in the park.  It will require the command staff to put in many hours of work in order to build up the Navy again.  The Navy gets enough recruits, so there should be no problem building up the member count to what it once was.

Japheth, I am hereby naming you the Naval Commander in Chief.  It will be your task to find a competent command staff in order to rebuild the Navy.  You won't be able to do it on your own, so start delegating the duties as you see fit to your command staff.  If someone starts to slack in their duties as a commander, you will need to find a replacement for that position asap.

I do however like the idea of having an elite section in the Navy.  The Navy Seals was a good analogy for this.  Perhaps that will spark even more activity within the ranks.

As far as Navy supported games go.  If you all feel a need for more supported games, write up a proposal as to what games you feel need to be supported by the Navy.  Another way to go about this is to send the proposal to Japheth and then have him talk to me about it.

That's a mighty nice ship there.  I'd be careful on so quickly calling for its replacement.  There's kind of a history attached to it. I'm not sure if there is a page devoted to it or not, but if you want someone can come up with a brief synopsis for ya.

BTW, if you guys ever DO ditch the Mustang/Atrus, pass it on over to the Army and we'll rename it the Sexton and replace our antiquated dock over Tadath.

To be quite honest, the class of ship the navy is based on is rather trivial in the grand scheme of things.  First we need to get a navy going again so it can be stationed on a ship.

We used to be 10-12 years after Endor, then we moved back to 6-7 years after Endor.
