Does anyone play Battlefield 1942, and, more importantly, the fantastic mod "Desert Combat"?

I've recently discovered this game and subsequently had my house re-mortgaged and sold my dads car so I could afford a faster internet connection... and, if theres a few people willing to play, would seriously consider putting together some sort of VE team for it...

The Star Wars mod is said to be finished this summer, I'll have to ask my brother for the addy 'cause I can't remember it.
I'd like to see a few corrections to Desert Combat but most of them are rather easy I would think.
My big issue is where are the Mirage fighters, you're supposed to be fighting Iraq not Russia(I'm not sure if the artillary cannon available to Iraq is actually russian or not but considering that everything else they have is russian it wouldn't suprise me).
There's my rant for the next three months live in peace and quiet until my eventual return. -----------------------
