Does anyone play Battlefield 1942, and, more importantly, the fantastic mod "Desert Combat"?

I've recently discovered this game and subsequently had my house re-mortgaged and sold my dads car so I could afford a faster internet connection... and, if theres a few people willing to play, would seriously consider putting together some sort of VE team for it...

I have the game, and the mod, only thing is i uninstalled both today beings I never play it
