It came to my mind that maybe the problem with these Graphics competitions is that no one has the necessary software to actually make graphics.

Here are a few freeware graphics programs that will help you out in that department:

Since Rizzit's graphics competition is nearly over, I know you can't master these programs in just 7 days. However, I greatly encourage you (those who don't have efficient graphics programs) to download these and have fun with them. I've seen the galleries on these programs, and they look like they can make some decent graphics without you having to pay $100-$600 bucks.

If I get at least 1-3 actual pledges for pictures I will indeed extend it until those pledging finish their work. Others may submit work during that time as well. However once the final pledger submits his/her work the competition is over.
