Well, since my previous assistant has decided to leave me in the lurch suddenly *growl*, and I'm going on leave for the first three weeks of July, I will need a new assistant.
If and when Swomz comes back, he will have priority for this position. However, since I will be on leave for three weeks I will need someone to take over the Flight School.
I leave in 10 days, so I'll have to find someone before then. It may only be temporary; After a month I may not need you, but you will
definetly receive a months pay.
Anyway, on to the important bit.
The kind of person I am looking for:
Intelligent
Highly literate (English as a first language is almost essential. I'm not meaning to be discriminative, but some of the newbies need the instructions practically spelled out for them)
Able to reply to emails QUICKLY
Able to send pre-written emails QUICKLY
Logged on to the internet at least once per day
Well-mannered
Familiar with the training process (Academy and Flight School)
Familiar with the Navy, IRC and the ComNet
Duties you will be doing:
Sending pre-written emails to trainees (Welcoming to the Navy, Welcoming to the Flight School, Flight School Information Form, Flight School Information Package)
Answering questions on using IRC, ComNet etc
Communicating with Darkhawk REGULARLY about trainees progress, when they are ready etc
Website design - Optional, but it needs doing
Promotion/Medals:
A medal for three weeks work?! Dream on..
Same goes for promotions.
However, I will say this: rank is not an issue. Whether you're a Commodore or a Crewman, you'll be considered. Just because you don't have a flashy rank won't mean I'll refuse you - so theres an incentive for you Leading Crewmen

Of course, if you do really good work.. I could think about some sort of reward.
What I want:
An application on why you should have this job on a temporary basis, possibly leading to a permanent position. Email it to me at
[email protected] please.
If I don't receive any applications (heaven forbid), Darkhawk will be busy..
