Here's a good point that i heard
Scenario1: In swg a max the builder builds 12 tiefighter's in astrometrics, and then trys to sell them for 800,000 imperial credits, well now he has a squadron of 12 tiefighters just sitting there. Then all of a sudden maz the trader comes to him and says i dont have the 800k credits but ill pay u $50 usd for them, well max the builder is only 15 years old so he agrees, because u would probably end up looseing them in a battle anyway. Maz the trader now has a squadron of tiefighters.

Scenario2:Maz the builder now goes to Vast empire and sells them to the pa because he know in the last battle with the rebels vast empire lost a couple of ships. He tells them that he would seel it to them for $100 usd, and with over 200 members it roughy comes out to 50 cents a person, and after the transaction now maz the builder has now made $50 bucks

Question: do u agree or not agree? and post how u feel, about it- them when ur done email the swg admin and tell them

Well, this kind of stuff happened all the time in Everquest, as well as Ultima according to what people have told me.

I seriously doubt things will be any different in Galaxies. I'm also sure that as a PA, we probably shouldn't get into that kind of transaction as policy. To date we have no rules on whether or not players can but I think it is definitely something to consider a ruling on beforehand.

The only limitation is that you can only mess around with one server and eventually any shady deals - or even honest ones - are going to come to the attention of a sysadmin. I know they say the multiple servers are to liven up gameplay and keep access open and usuable, but I swear it is just to get a better handle on what goes on amongst players.

i personally would refuse to pay someone with real money to receive a item in a game.

I am with Warmaker 100%. They make items far too valuable in these games, and people will do crazy things for them and over the loss of them. But I would never even CONSIDER paying someone real money for an item. Heck, the game itself will cost enough.
