I don't really know what to think. First off, it's too blue. It also looks like they're trying to be more like a mac by moving the taskbar items to the center of the task bar instead of right after the start menu. Another thing that seems to be a rip off of something WindowMaker (and other dekstop shells for both Windows and *nix) did was the side bar with tabs that pop out.
I wish Microsoft, with all the developing know how they have, would implement something like
Karamba or
Samurize ((See the Info along the right side of the image) Yes it's for windows, yes that's windows running in the screenshot). It's pretty much all a HUD in the form of eye candy, but considering that Microsoft thinks people want mostly eyecandy from a User Interface. Sacraficing performance for the ability to have a spffiy new theme that is by far the ugliest thing i've ever seen in my life (Windows XP default theme).
But what do you guys think of this?
