Greetings,
This is probably not the gaming comp you've been waiting for, but Jap and I decided that we should give ya something for a little bit. So seeing as he's not here, I get to post it! YAY!  Now this competition is non-platform games, meaning you need to go to candystand.com and nabiscoworld.com You are allowed to play any of the games with someone else in the multiplayer section. With the exception of the golf games, they must be completed to the end or they don't count. In golf just agree on a set number of holes, then stop at that point and decide a winner. A screenshot must be sent to me and Japer, and it can't be altered in any way. 
Those who have done this before know I usually require an entrance fee, but this time I'm just going to give out prizes. First place will get 20,000 ICs. Second place gets 10,000, and third place will get 5,000. Also all of you who even participate get 1,000 ICs just for playing.
This is going to be a fun competition and hopefully you all will participate. I can't speak for Japer, but those who want to challenge me should e-mail me for a time to play or catch me on IRC. I will accept challenges, but I hope you will play other games besides the ones that I play with you. This competition is starting on Friday 4/18/2003 and will end on Saturday 5/3/2003. That gives you plenty of time to get your games in. Also, at the end of the competition if you want to have a final round to make a true winner of this, we can do that and I will DOUBLE PRIZES to those that participate in it. Responses should be posted here to that, as well as any questions about the games. I will post an update saying who is in the lead and so on at the end of every week. So....keep an eye out for that, and with that said, I will see you all around.

Having played the only three games, I am beginning to wonder on the motivation of the troopers. Squad Leaders, I'm sure you can find ways to "motivate" your troops. I have seen some troopers play with me, and Fury has played, but I want to see troopers playing on their own. I enjoy playing the games, but I should like to see some screenshots of games played from you all.
There are a lot of fun games to play, and with the shockwave interface: there should be no conflicts in playing games. There is Golf, Pool--->Straight, 8-ball and 9-ball, Bowling, Reversi(Othello), Hearts, Spades, Chess, Checkers, and Backgammon.
I really think that there is no excuse not to play, especially since there are soo many people who ask for comps. It is also easy to set the games up, just create a game name and password and give it to those who you will be playing with. Once again the sites are www.candystand.com and www.nabiscoworld.com just click multiplayer and you will get the MP games available on that site. See nothing you like? Go to the other site.
I am trying to think of something to give the most active squad in the comp as an extra incentive: but I have yet to come up with anything seeing that the store is down. I don't want it to be ICs. If any of you SLs or ASLs or even Troopers have any ideas please e-mail me, DO NOT post it here, I don't want a whole debate over whoose idea is better and anything else that arises. I am serious though, GET PLAYING!!!!!!!! -----------------------

Okay, but its not minigolf. Its the ameateaur or pro golf that is available for MP. You know: that hard thing with like 20 clubs available for use and you must deal with water, forests, and other such real stuff. No "boucing lifesavers" or "flaming factories" in this one unfortunately. Also, I don't think I will be able to make it Saturday. However: I am free on Friday all day. If Friday is no good, feel free to challenge someone else in the platoon. Like I said earlier, I don't want to be playing in all the games for this comp. The comp was made for you guys to have some fun. Basically TK, Fury, and all my squad know how to run the game well. Ask them if you need any help. When the game is finished, all I need is an e-mail from all people involved in your game, which should be anywhere from 2-4. I also need a screenshot from the end of the game If it's golf: just decide on a number of holes. Anything else: just finish the game or its no good. Oh, and Fury: You still owe me another game. We need to have a "Tie-Breaker". -----------------------
