Welcome to the new server. The vastempire.com domain should be transfered sometime within 24 hours of this post. If anyone finds anything wrong with the scripts, send me a detailed message about what is wrong. I will award 50K IC's to anyone who finds an origional error on the domain. Only the first person who finds the error will get the award. If you find a link that you would like forwarded to the new location, let me know what the old and new links are and I will see what I can do to forward the request.
Browse around the domain, as you will see a lot of new domain names. There are new domain names for each division and some applications. Enjoy. 
For those members that have @vastempire.com email accounts. If you have changed your password from the password I had origionally given you, then you will need to see me to get your new password. Here is the information you will need to log in:
incoming: mail.vastempire.com
outgoing: mail.vastempire.com
username: This is not your full email address, just your username ( [email protected] => username)
webmail: http://www.vastempire.com/squirrelmail
For those members that had ftp access, your ftp access is being temporarily suspended. I will be finishing up a script that will allow you to update your webpages as soon as I can. Please bear with me as I get this completed. If you have any web updates that need to be posted asap, send them to me and I will update them. Make sure you let me know what directory they go into.
The only known problem right now is the fact that sometimes when you submit a form, an error message pops up. If you get this, just answer 'NO'. I have spoken with the server admins and they are looking into the problem for me. I hope they get this resolved as soon as possible, as it gets very annoying to keep having to click 'no'.
If anyone has any questions or comments about the domain transfer, let me know. Hope you all enjoy the new server. -----------------------

Only other problem I can see right now is the membership counts on the main page. I will work on fixing those this weekend. -----------------------

Oh...one other note, before I forget. Be sure you check on your profile. Some of the signatures and biographies didn't get transfered very well. There was some byte miscalculation going from mssql to mysql. You may see some topics that have some added bytes in them because of this. -----------------------

For those of you that were having problems getting to squirrelmail, apparently it only works with IE.
http://www.vastempire.com/squirrelmail/
Squirrelmail also doesn't let you change your password. So if you want to change your mail password, you will have to log into here:
http://www.vastempire.com/user/
The emails are also pop3, so you don't have to use the web interface if you don't want to. That is just a nice way to view your email if you are away from home. If you have any other questions, let me know. -----------------------

Please disregard that last comment about squirrelmail only working in IE. It is working in the other browsers as well. If you find some browsers that it doesn't work in, let me know.
As you all may know now, the domain has transfered to the new server. So all the pages should be loading correctly. If not, let me know. -----------------------

Got it to work in IE and Netscape 4.7x. Had to upgrade Mozilla to 1.4a before the login page would even load. Had the problem at home and at work, but that seems to have done the trick. -----------------------

A more stable server. This server is running Linux while our old one ran Windows. Plus it is also faster. Other than that, the options are pretty much the same. Although we do get more subdomains. -----------------------

Don't know if it's the server or not, but I'm having trouble staying logged in. Ever 5 minutes or so I get logged off, and it's getting really annoying. -----------------------
