Check out the story 'Mask of a Pirate'. There was a traitor in the Imperial forces, he got away. Basically, all you need to know is that his name's Albatross and he's...on the run. And we were going to go hunting for him. Yeeeeah.

yeah, well, I haven't got much time, so I'll report here so it doesn't come in as late.

We've got midterms coming up, quite a treat for us high schoolers, but I managed to take some time to write a post on the story, which will be posted tomorrow, because I would like to have it approved first, and it's getting late, I've g2g.

That's a good example for the rest of you, albeit Jenn sent her report to the wrong place.

My computer decided to officially, and permenately die mere hours after I posted my return. But luckily, I'm back, with a super powered computer and after a few days of arguing back and forth with my internet service provider. Point is, im back to stay.

Making a (Wraith) NPC

Alright, so, for this story, each of us will be responsible for one NPC character. You can choose to write as mainly them, mainly your character, or equally distribute your posts between the two (maybe like every post has the same events from both people's perspectives or something). You can mess around with them however you want.

The NPCs will be with us on the mission. It's two squads combined into one large one, basically.

Now, there are a few certain things these NPC's need to have when you make them:

1.) Interesting personality traits -Something other than dark, brooding assassin, or overly happy drunkard (we have quite enough drunks to go around )

2.) Interesting tidbits from a pre-military life -Stuff to just throw in the story as you write to make the characters seem more real

3.) Fits a generic template -The squad will have the generic medic, sniper, heavy weapons specialist, trooper, hard-nosed SL (Villman), supporting ASL, etc. Your NPC characer should try to fill one of those roles

4.) Kick @$$ name -Need I explain?

5. Animosity toward Wraiths scale- Represented by a scale of one to ten. This is directly influenced by how much they like their SL. If they really like their SL, they'll really dislike the Wraiths(8-10). If they're not too keen on their overly-critical, hard-nosed SL, then they'll probably feel indifferent toward the Wraiths (0-3)

Well, I'm sorry to say this, but it looks like I'll have to do this stuff next week, I'm sorry, guys, but my dad was invitating a colleague of his to dinner, and the colleague's daughter is my elementary school student, even though we had met several times for dinner, this occasion was special.

Sorry again, hopefully then, I'll have someone to talk to, it's lonely in irc, you know.

I'm back, though a bit sick.  I'll get a post up tommorow since I have work to do today.

And it shouldn't be too long. Easy on the eyes, maybe a paragraph, enough to write a few posts with from your characters perspective easily. Basically, it's just the core of a bio, not unlike the ones you wrote when you got here.
