Yea G, I'm back. Why do you think I was so glad to hear you were in the squad now?


Um.....if I may say something real quick on here.  While it was a descent post, Jennabelle, it's in my personal opinion that your post should be removed.  I understand that it would give us more to the story to write about but the way you went about doing it was kinda wrong/off.  And, well, its understood that we are all in the same squad and as we write to improve both the story and our own characters we also write about our squadmates characters. I felt,however, that it was wrong for you to have Kanderin's character be placed in that position.  I know that if my character was placed in a similar position by anyone besides myself or a commanding officer I would be rather angry.  Now, if everyone else is alright with the post, I'll take back this entire statement and apologize.  Well, or until Arnaut or Kanderin tells me to.  I'll say again that this is my personal opinion.

Heh, seems we've all had our secret identities.  Lately, I've been finding out half of our new recruits are just old members.

Okay guys, concerning my little outburst last post. I apologise, I was out of line. Haven't got an excuse, I'm a jerk. Everyone give me a punch in the arm and lets be done with it.

But about the word limit, I'm a serious critic. I don't think we need a word limit to enforce decent posting, and I've had first hand experience in the Navy what that sort of method does to a squad. I think we should be able to pick out whats suitable and what is just plain lazy. A line or two, anything less than a paragraph and maybe a little more is unacceptable, any idiot can tell you that.

Yes, posts should have some substance, but forcing this substance out of people is going to do nothing but kill our morale.

In my opinion, let people post and each post will count towards that prize. The change is that myself and Arnaut have the power to disallow any post that we feel is too short. Might work better, although its only a suggestion.

EDIT: Ok, I've read over Jennabelles post as well now so I can comment. I didn't agree with how Dixon portrayed my character, anyone that saw the previous story would of saw Kanderin placed in the exact same position. But he acted in the complete opposite way. I however, for the sake of time decided to let it slide, and tried to show Kanderin's emotion more in the crying part shortly after.

Jennabelle, you should of really ran such a serious turn of events past me before you decided to post it. You went against the chain of events that I set, and put me in a position that story wise could of had me court martialled.

However, partly because we're short on time but mainly because its an interesting story twist, I'm going to let it slide again. Just, next time I want this sort of stuff ran by me.

And Dixon why I'm at it, just a friendly pointer to stick to the character that I had set for Kanderin. He's a talented marksman and a very dangerous foe, but his heart gets in the way a lot. He uses his smart mouth to hide his insecurity about various situations. He would of never allowed himself to kill a woman, let alone one that was unable to fight back.

In the previous story he faced a similar situation with Fraot Hertz'Grooj, but he dropped the gun and let her leave. He wasn't able to kill her because his heart got in the way.

Ok, in conclusion. Jennabelle and Dixon, neither of you are in trouble. I applaud you for taking on the story in your own hands, and I can understand hiccups are going to occur. Just be careful where you take other people's characters.

Just for future reference, I'm the one that would shoot an unarmed woman on her knees.

You don't need to apologize, Dixon, I would have done the same in your shoe, you had your right to voice your opinion about my post, no harm done, okay?

Kanderin, thank you for great suggestion on the word limit on the posts, if we do enforce it, it will downgrade our morale, and I'm sure that's not what we all want. Also, Kanderin, I should apologize for not running the post by you and stuff, but I was confident, as you said, of making an interesting story twist, following the previous post by Dixon, and I have not read the previous story, which I was shocked to discover that you wouldn't kill an unarmed woman, so all the responsibility should lie on me, I guess...

Leth, if you're trying sarcasm in such a serious situation, then I'd recommend that you shut it, alright? No offense, I hope.

Oh and just for the sake of correcting Arn, my posts recent posts are around a page or more long(Yea, yea, I know, blah blah short blah blah) and some of them are less than 500 words :P.  And no, I don't use size 72, Comic Sans font.

Jen, I remind you that we're roleplaying, and suggest that you calm down.  And while what I said was supposed to come off as light hearted, that should not be confused with sarcasm.  My character would have shot Jo' kil on her knees.

I might also mention now that I feel no sympathy for Flem.

So, when is phase I gonna end?

I just got back from an adventure to a deserted school playground.

I think Phase I is over when Arnaut gets that post up, Gio.  I'm waiting too...  But Arnaut is waiting for the other group wrap things up as well I think so, I dunno.

It's fine Kand.  My post kinda directly leads up to Arn's post so I was using the time to catch up on Navy(With the ESC coming up and all).  Either way, I'll get a post up if Arn doesnt before the weekend.

Alright so, whoever isn't drunk by now seriously needs to be.....no excuses!
