Alright, a bit of a story conflict.
DD finished phase I a while back and we ended the story by retrieving intelligence from the councilmen of the Bado Hill clans (the opposition to Shelov's regime). We're a ways out of capital city, where i'm assuming the kidnapping attempt is taking place, but i think i can segue my last story post on DD with my first one here.

Just thought i should let you guys know, I'm sponsoring a little activity competition with Arnaut to reward the activity on Chpt. 8 and motivate you guys to keep up the good work. Basically, Arnaut is gonna keep track of you guys' post count for Phase II, and depending on the amount of activity, he will reward you guys with cold hard imperial credits. The breakdown is as follows: 1st place) 200,000 ICs 2nd place) 100,000 IC's 3rd place) Depends on amount of posts. Now this is all going to be rewarded based on activity. I guess what i'm trying to say is, if 1st place only has 4 posts then there will be no money awarded. I'll slap 100k on the first placed prize, and an extra 50k on 2nd and 3rd. Thats considering I don't win any of those places. So if I win 1st (example), only 2nd and 3rd will get bonus. No point in rewarding myself a bonus out of my own wallet.
EDIT: Do we have a timeframe for the finish Arnaut? My part's finale has just begun, but I dont want to be halfway through the most glorious set piece in the history of the VE just to have the story close half way through.

However, Dixon, some friendly pointers. It was a very good post, but you did run through the events very quickly, I expected us to stay in that warehouse until right near the very end. You went through the entire thing in one post. There's no need to change it, im improvising the story around that so its no biggie.

It's true that we have to encourage activity but sponsoring a contest that relies on people winning by the number of posts and not establishing a word limit is simply encouraging the wrong kind of activity. I'm sure it's very possible for someone to do a good quality post and still do lot's of them. Frankly, I would prefer someone not post at than post some random junk that doesn't even use the rules of proper English. That's just my two cents, though. Just saying that maybe it's a good idea to have a word limit. I think we've all seen in the past that Wraith can churn out hundreds of posts without sacrificing quality.
Anyways, I'll get a post up. Sorry, my posts are all going to have to be moderatly short and not as great as my usual. I only get around an hour to 30 minutes a day and I'm a slow thinker when it comes to posting. In the brightest light,
