So you know what that means, DON'T treat it like a competition. Fooled you didn't I? But no, you shouldn't treat it like a competition because it isn't one. Makes sense right? You SHOULD treat it like a platoon wide story, however, in which you don't want to look like losers in front of everyone else. So to help you all I've got some ground rules for posting: 1) Posts should be over 500 words in length. For you vets I'd say over 750 words, but I know you'll go for the full 1000 anyways, so go for 1000 you vets. I personally will go for the 1k. 2) Post at least 4 times a week. 4 is average people. I suggest 6 for you vets. 3) QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. Let me say it again. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. What does that mean? I refer to Urban Dictionary: Urban Dictionary has wrote:Quality over quantity.
An implication to that an essay, for example, does not have to be 20 pages long and full of bullsh!t. Rather, write a short high-quality essay than a useless high-quantity essay.
EX: Remember class, Quality over quantity on this paper. There's no need to write a long paper if it's filled with pointless sentences.
Love that definition. Other than that, I'm offering a medal for he who merits it at the end of this story. Not a competition folks, cause I'm not telling you how you earned it until the end. Just treat it like a story... like a really competitive story. More info to come. Have fun!

Like I said before, quality over quantity. If you can post two or three fantastic posts per week then by all means do so. Keep in mind that the Halloween Story is only two weeks long, so 8 posts total would be considered a strong effort on anyone's part.
