The HSC Prelude is up on the Storyboard. It is limited to only PAs (Platoon Adjutants) and above. So all of you troopers are currently limited to reading it. However December 1st is when the actual HSC story will begin. Be sure to keep your eyes out for the following as well: - Summaries of the Past HSCs posted on the Army Storyboard by Rizzit.
- HSC '08 Rules and Scoring Categories posted on the Army Main by Riqimo (As soon as this is up, you may start earning points for all the categories except writing which has to wait for the story)
- Background Information posted on NPCs, Planets, Ships, etc posted on one topic the Army Storyboard by misc. command staffers.

You heard the good doctor, get to it. Wraith Are Legend will end on the 26th November, I'm being nice enough to give you guys some vacation until the HSC. That however means I fully expect every one of you to truly dominate. Any failure to do so will result in 10,000 lashes followed by a trip to Rizzit's office. And no, not his normal one, that scary looking one around back. Anyway, since the story (was) doing so well, I've been working on some changes to the squad. You guys kept the story flowing, I simply monitored and did some stuff I consider to be more important right now. The story now however appears to of died, so I'll get back into the leading role and drag your lazy butt's through it. So, my first point is - The squad spec'll be changing. In hindsight, 'mounted cavalry', or whatever it was called, was a bad idea. Therefore, it's about time we fixed that mistake and gave us something new to play with. Don't worry, nothing will change apart from our official role. We will keep the mounts, and we still have our new base down at the good old farm, I'm just giving us more scope for a wider mission range. There will be a squad meeting on Sunday the 23rd November, where we will officially decide on what the spec will be, and I'll have it fixed up by the following Monday. It'll be straight after the VE meeting, so there's no excuses for not being there. Attendance will be mandatory, as I also need to check you guys are all still alive. Any problems with that, PM myself and Helena. Until then however, I want everyone to start tossing ideas into this thread. Anything that pops into your mind that we could do as a speciality, I want to hear it. Doesn't matter how stupid it is, I just want a large pile we can sift through come meeting. I'm going to kick you guys off with one of my idea - Crisis ManagementWe'd work as the Empire's emergency services. Anything that need's a swift and rapid response, we would be called out. This allows our tasks to vary quite significantly from say, escorting a politician with a price on his head, to a large scale terrorist strike. Have fun y'all. - OOC:

Turn back to special ops with mounts, it seemed to work before.OR
OR We could stay true to our name, become "ghosts" on the battle field, coming and giong without people knowing we are their. (The basic idea behind this is GRAW 2.)

Exactly my thoughts on the subject. That sounds a more like a "wraith" squad than mounted spec ops... I say do that ^ with black armor, high-tech gear and guns, and lots of silent quick attack strategies! |

Wraith used to be Spec Ops yes, but myself and Doc came to the conclusion that every squad the Corps has, is in a way Spec Ops. It's such a generic term it didn't describe us properly. Like saying a tin contains biscuits, it tells you very little information about what kind
I like the stealth ops idea, but there's a teeny weeny problem with it - We have a specialist 'Stealth Ops' division, otherwise known as 'Phantom'.
I will how ever take the idea on board, and see how we can work it out. the -point- of spec ops is that it's vague, leaves you open to do just about anything you please. Hence the RAIDERS 'Public Relations' specialty. It's so bloody vague that there's plenty of room to play. {Comnet Hermit}

But yeah, to the point. Anyone thats checked the leave forum would have realised Helena's departure. I lost a damn fine ASL, and at a very bad time. However, I'll manage. I'll do my best to get us another trooper to replace her so as we're not put at a disadvantage, but I wont be naming another ASL until after the competition. Anyone that wants to formally apply to me is free to do so, whether you're a Wraith or a trooper from another squad.

I agree.We've gone through rough patches in the past, so the only thing to do from here is go up.

Strills have a tendency to like one another though... So, what happens if they gang up on the none Strill having people?
Poor Antos and Anival... I was protecting them in IH, don't think I can do it against three Strills though, they have sharp teeth.
