I would think so. Retirement implies some sort of distinguishment or reverence or somesuch. When you're booted they usually strip you of anything you had and make sure you land in the path of a speeding car.

Last I checked, when a superior officer requests that you change something, you just go right ahead and do it. Pronto. As for what your status should be in the army.  Hmmm. You have been AWOL'd out and your old squad has been merged with another and is at this time full. If you really want to be an active member, I will go to bat for you.  However, I am not willing to put up with this on again/off again romance you have with the VE.  If you can abide by the rules we have, then great.  If this is just another thrill ride through the club for you, then I may just join the navy's "Tired of Swomz" campaign. Ok...here are two things I need: 1. A decent email from you explaining your intentions. 2. A squad leader who is willing to take you in outright (don't bug them, I will do that).  If not, it will fall on Solidus and Drill squad to give you a refresher course.

Well, I'll take him along just so long as he behaves himself. I want an active trooper though, from what I can see he has not done such in the past. If I get a week from him that shows no activity without posting leave, or taking responsibility for his actions: I'll speak with someone about getting him AWOLed. Other than that, I'll have no problem letting him into RAIDERS other than the fact that he might need a slight attitude adjustment.

To be honest with you, I don't know. I guess it's something Cosmic got me started on when I first joined. Anyways, I've been doing it ever since.

First of qll, I wasnt AWOLed, I am in reserves.  Second of all that email will be coming shortly, as soon as I find a cmdr to take me. Third of all, my first two and a half months in VE I worked my ass off in Venom and then after my ordeal in Navy, I worked hard in Army until I didnt have any more time.  I also want to let my squad commander know that I can only write stories, I cannot play games on this computer right now

Fury, I hope that was meant as a compliment I do the comps that I do for people as such that either cant play the commercial games or don't own them. I hope the case isnt that they don't want to, cause then they just wasted their money getting the game now didn't they? On a more serious note, could I please either get that e-mail sent to me as a Cc: or have it forwarded to me please? No offense, it just helps me plan on what I can expect from a new trooper, and it helps me plan some kind of mini comps in if I get an idea of what his intentions are. This is just a request, meaning it doesn't have to be honnored.
