Well, since Fury doesn't seem to update the rosters, I'm gonna leave this here and see if anyone takes care of it.  Yep, that's right, after...  I think a year, I'm resigning to the reserves of the VE.  I just have no more time for it, three AP classes...  an Athiests Club to start up at school...  joining the Science Club...  Yeah.... Anyways, I'm gonna shout out to all those who it's been great to serve with. Daishi - What can I say, you've been a great impact in my life since I joined the POD back in the IW.  I thank you for keeping us together and bringing us into the VE, even if that eventually ripped us apart.  I've always tried to emulate your style of leadership, and I hope that it's a style that doesn't ever die out.  Thanks for everything! Geist - The Meanest Quaker Ever!!  It was great having religious arguments with someone who thinks before responding and brings up intelligent points, I don't get any of that at school.  I also enjoyed the maps you put out on SC, I hope you send me some when you make them in the future.  Enjoy life to the fullest, it might be the only one you've got!  JMac - Yeah, we had our share of arguments, and we were usually on opposing sides (him being a Christian Conservative, and me being an Athiest Liberal), but it was fun.  JMac, you proved to me that, despite my RL experiences, there are intelligent conservatives out there, and I thank you for that  PaTrIcK - Pat, it's been great having you in the DK, you're always active, and you're catching up do Dai insanity-wise.  I hope you hone those runon and starcraft skills, you the supreme result of what I was trying to accomplish with the DK, great work  Tycho - What can I say, you've been with us since the beginning, I remember back in the IW when we used to have these great runons about us losing ground right and left.  Now that was real stuff, I don't think I've seen a VE runon matching them.  Anyways, you've been a great addition to the DK, the experience wouldn't have been the same without you  Fury - Thanks for being you.  At some times, you were the guy who backed me up on an idea everyone else thought was idiocy, and other times you were with them.  Heck, I remember that two month argument we had just because of a slight lapse in communication    Anyways, it's been great serving with you, even if we gave each other headaches.  Remember, just because I'm gone, doesn't mean the FA spirit falls, it's still alive in the DK!!!  Bear - Thank you for founding the VE Today.  I've been looking into doing fiction for a while, and this was a great outlet.  If you still want me to do stories, just let me know and I'll be there  3 - What can I say, we were Joker to each other's Batman, always at each other's throats.  And even if you didn't enjoy it at times, I thought it was great.  Thanks for always being in the way, it made me think through whatever I was planning to do and, if not finding that you were right, find better reasons to do it instead of the stuff I usually think up.  Good luck in the future  Swomz - Well, you had the rebellious attitude down, it's too bad you weren't in a leadership spot, things woulda gone a lot better for ya.  My advice to you is don't stop trying, HC isn't nearly as intractable as it would like to seem at times.  Sooner or later, you'll get recognized, just keep trying    BTW, cursing out someone doesn't help  Anyways, I'll probably do some more shout-outs later, but for now, I'm gonna end an argument that me and JMac had (one of the many) about the US being founded on Christian principles.  Here's the site: http://religion.aynrand.org/quotes.html JMac, anyone, if you ever want to argue, e-mail's still good for me, and, as you figured out, I love to debate.  Just give me a call, and I'll engage your brain cells  'Nyways, I'm retiring now, but expect to see me every now and then in the VE Today and on the DK storylines  LATERS!!!

Good luck, Argon . . . hope to see you around sometime. It's always nice to see someone argue so hard for a losing cause. Nah, just kidding. Hate to see you go, but it's just the reserves, right? Have a nice life. P.S. Your info shows you've been here for 16 months. Heh.

I did e-mail, Fury.  Unless you no longer use [email protected], I sent you my resignation, and my recommendation for my replacement.  In fact, Tycho and Swomz have also resigned in recent days, but I think they sent it to that same addy  'Nyways, among the people left, I think you can guess my choice  Now, time for more shoutouts  Anakin - Hey man, you've always been sort of in the background, so I didn't see you too often, but it was always nice to know that there was someone behind the scenes taking care of things  DH!! - That guy!!  Well, we didn't clash much, you sorta backed up JMac a little bit, but stayed quiet otherwise.  But hey, you made my part that much harder, thanks and good luck to ya

So long Argon. Hope life goes well for you, and that you may handle each endeavor with a cool attitude and with an open mind. You were, in my opinion, the heart and soul of the Dread Knights. Always trying to get things going, and sending in ideas for an increase of activity. I commend you on that. Not a whole lot of people have as much potential as you do. They come in 1 in 30.

Well, didn't get those emails. (Not all of them anyway.  Send that very important one of your's again Argon and anything after the 23rd if you have it please) Coruscant.net hasn't worked well for me for a very long amount of moons.  I have changed that to a vastempire.com account on the roster and have made mention of it on various occasions throughout the past three-four months i suppose. However, if you would be so kind as to forward that info my way (just use the email icon on any of my posts to do so), I'll be happy to accommodate all your information. Ahem... Let me amend all that.  Apparently that account started working again sometime this month.  I only have things from early August but I can now see all these messages (damn autosort by date wasn't working).  Still use the vastempire.com account for those who have not heard differently.   ----------------------- XO/LTC Fury/VEA/TADATH/VE [PoC][SotE:HC][SotE:VEA][IOC] Company Commander Shopkeeper - Imperial Center

Meanest quaker ever? Nah, third meanest. We have to account for my Dad and Nixon, right? Don't be shy just because you retired. Its us retired guys that will shape the course of the VE's destiny... okay, that didn't make any sense, but it's still fun to hang around and cause trouble. /me slips a whoopie cushion under Fury's seat. In any case, enjoy your AP classes, even if you are taking only three...

...and there was one. Well even if you don't believe me I still think you have surpassed my leadership.  You managed to keep the DK together longer in the VE then I could keep the FA together in the VE. Argon, even if I did not intend for you to be my student I couldn't have asked for a better one.  It makes this old man feel a little better when his students surpass his accomplishments. I may not be much beyond retirement activity wise most of the time but if we let the brass get comfortable then part of what we stand for is meaningless.  We wanted to have fun and regulations be damned if they got in the way. I'm still in for the long haul.  I said once almost three years ago that I'd be a part of the VE and much and yet at the same time little has changed.  I for one intend to not go anywhere. For now I have work to do on Varneck Inheritor Nergal Episode 12:It's Christmas Time! So for now I'll uphold my end of the truce, now it remains to be seen if others will.

I have no clue what truce you are talking about. Also, "letting the brass get comfortable" usually gives them time to do things other than react to every person supposedly standing for the rights of others.  You see, everyone has a job to do and it is a lot easier for that to be done when others are not standing in your way. Have fun, but show some respect for others.  Essentially that is all you guys ever seemed to want over the years.  It's a valid goal.  It's also a two-way street.  Let's all work on that.  Argon left for his own reasons.  Do not use it as an excuse to fan the flames of whatever righteous martyrdom you seem to subscribe to.

Subscribe to?  Fury, we're the ones that others subscribe to to get that  As for retiring, no I don't have any more time for a command spot in the VE (or even a squad member spot...), but I can sure as hell cause some trouble.  Geist's right, retirement is only the beginning  ::insert evil grin here (you know, we really need to get that type of smiley...):: Anyways, Daishi, you're still a better leader than I am, I just adapted to the VE better    If it had been more of our free type of environment, you woulda done great. BTW, any ideas for what's coming after VIN?  If so, I want in  Cos, you and Fury were usually my most ardent supporters outside of the VE and DK ("ardent" being a relative term...).  I hope that you guys never forget what I've done here, and that it's never allowed to die.  If that happens, I'll just start over where I began and continue to meke HC dread the thought of me    Heck, I'm gonna keep doing it anyways. Remember, the Fallen Angels are not dead, for I am a Fallen Angel, and I still live!!!

Hey, I'm retired now.  I could bring you up on charges of assault, attempted murder, threat to kill, intent of violence, and about three hundred other crimes.  Yup, Bob bless the US legal system
