Hello all new Kaph members. Venom and Nazgùl Squadrons have been fused together to reform Kaph Squadron. Corran has been given command of Kaph, with myself, and Sabre as the Flight Leaders and Arturus and Whos_Ya_Daddy are flight 1 FMs. Jaded and Emon are flight 2 FMs, under the leadership of myself. And Red5 is the FM of flight 3 under the leadership of Sabre.

Well, i'd like to say that i'd never thought i'd be CMDR of Kaph Squadron. I remember back i the day when it was first formed...

Anyway, I'm glad to see this new squadron in working order. I just wish you had thought to use the OLD Kaph Squadron Topic. That way Corran could go back and get all nostalgic when he read his old posts. heh -----------------------

DH, I was planning on using the old topic but by the time I was about to post this topic had already been made. Also, about #Kaph, I think that if no one goes to a channel for 30 days then it automaticaly un-registers. -----------------------

Welcome to Kaph Face and A.C.
1) Squad Meeting
I think that the best time for a squadron meeting is shortly before the meeting. This is because at this time most people are starting to drift into the channel. Although, what wouldd be preferable to a squadron meeting would be a wing meeting (if this isn't already being done) where everyone in Wing One gets together. Thiss would allow more people to attend, we would get more peoples opinions on topics and there would be more to discuss. Me and Bear were trying to organize a wing 2 meeting but thern Nazgul was disbanded and Venom was moved into Kaph.
2) Story
A story could be started straight away on the Navy StoryNet. If we have someone willing to start a story if they have an idea then make the first post.
3) Fun sorta fiction thing
I think that for now it would be best if we just had a story going rather than a story and a fun sorta fiction thing. However, if you thnk otherwise please post.
4) Competitions
If it were to be a Wing-wide competition than I would have consult the wing Commander and talk to the other Squadron Commanders. If it were to be just a Kaph Squadron competition then it could be something simple. More about that in a second.
5) Web page, Motto
Firstly, the motto. Sortly before Venom was moved into Kaph I was running a competition to find a motto for the squadron. I think this would work well with the current members of Kaph. I will start a post on the Navy ComNet where I will expect all members of Kaph to post at least one suggestion. As for the web page I think it may work if anyone who wants to make on makes a basic outline of it, uploads it and shows it to me. I will then either choose the best one or I will put it up to a vote.
I have one final thing to say, reports. This last week I recieved no reports, this week I wil let it slip since many of you are new and also that we have moved to a new squadron. However I will say this now so that no one will say that they didn't know, I will expect reports to be sent to your flight leaders by mid-day every friday, flight leaders, you will then need to sumarise what was said in those reports and email it to me and post it in the Commanders ComNet. Flight Members, your reports do not need to be long, all that needs to be in them is at least a few sentences saying what you have done in that last week for yourself, the squadron and the Navy as a whole. Although, if your report is long and fruitfull then it will give a good impresion of you. -----------------------
