I know this discussion is a bit premature especially as we haven't quite figured out how to continue, but honestly, I better get it out now before I completely forget about it. But here's my proposal: is there anyway we can get some people (preferably story runners) to keep a timeline or a summary of missions in our canon?

It was a project I tried in Empire's Edge called Previously in the STC and I'd like to think it was a good idea. (I promise this isn't a plug of my own genius, I really think it's a good idea ) This is the wiki page I kept of it. It was just intended to be a short summary of what went on during a story and hopefully give anyone new some info if they wished and even better for story runners to keep track of what came before and maybe remember some old plot arcs.

Hopefully we can get some good discussion/ideas in this thread. No doubt many of you will pat my back then lead me back to the village center to perform my jesterly abilities.

That's what I was thinking. I for one, love getting into the lore of things and that was one thing I was really looking forward to with this club. But if I wanted to pick up on those major events, I'd have to pick through the old stories and even through the V1 Comnet. It'd be nice to have a timeline consisting of IC and OOC events. IC being the story, OOC being stuff that doesn't happen in stories. Like for example:

6ABY- Battle of Jakku, The Galactic Concordance is signed (I think that's the right date. Might be wrong. I didn't want to delve too deep into the wiki, trying to avoid TFA spoilers)

So shall it be!  The VEN's timeline is certainly a good place to start.  We had plans for adding short, 1-2 sentence summaries of each story thread listed on the timeline.  We were ambitious, industrious little nerds, weren't we? 

Can't remember who did most of the legwork on that project.  Drac was involved.  I think maybe Norsedragoon?  Or maybe Gurlanin?  I churned out some lackluster icons for it.  Ah, good times.

I agree with Tal. Now do we already have a wiki? Do we only have a navy one for navy content? Who is responsible for archiving the SL/FL of the story as we move forward perhaps or should this be a command position (which I'd rather avoid many more command positions for the time being so hopefully not)?

Skarr, having the story-runner be in charge of making the associated archive entry makes sense.

As for the events between stories, that would be up to Fury (as Operations Officer) to come up with, or at least to greenlight/rubberstamp.  He could make archive entries himself, or appoint somebody else to do it.
