Yeah, that's probably going to be a Kadann/Fury/Talon level question.

But at a guess? Probably not. At least, probably not anything better than just navigating to the site on your phone's web browser. The site architecture is at least a decade old and was designed well before smartphone apps really became commonplace, after all. I doubt its coding makes any allowances at all for a mobile platform.

That said, using your phone's browser to do it isn't that bad so long as you've got the Google Drive/Docs app. Posts can be written there (or, for some folks, on their work computer if it's blocked from accessing the VE site) and transferred to the ComNet via copy/paste.

I thought there was a way to integrate mobile display into the website so that it recognised if you were using a mobile device.

Supposedly, these apps have a bit of code that gets added to vBulletin, and then it just... works.

Obviously, this is beyond my knowledge base.  But if it can be done, it might be worth it.

Kadann is the only one with that kind of access, Gur.  Him not really being around to grant that level of access to anyone else is ultimately what ended up causing the few active folks to split off and start the EE, a couple years back.  Hopefully, this many people back and asking again will be enough to attract his attention, so we can finally move on all that.  You're right: the code is old and could probably use an update.  Ultimately, though, that's gonna depend on the folks who have a relationship with Kadann being able to get an answer from him on sharing the access with someone else, or enticing him to get active again himself.
