Warhammer 40k Fans

Played Warhammer 40k Dawn of War, both games for the PC. As well as have books and played the board games. Any fans out there, this genra of sci fi mixed with fantasy is really addicting. Feel free to post thoughts or interest about the topic.

Sorry I didn't see this before Tzism!

I myself practically grew up on 40K. I have an Eldar army gathering dust back in the UK, but I don't get a chance to play much any more.

Despite that I still love the novels. Some of the writers for the Black Library are phenomonal. I have been so impressed with the Horus Heresy books and eagerly look forward to each new one that comes out. Have you read them?

If anyone else is reading this and thinking of trying 40k books, start with the Horus Heresy. You will not regret it!

I have not read the horus heresy, but i will put it on my books to read. I currently have the "Blood Ravens: Dawn of War Omnibus" along with "Let the Galaxy Burn - Collection" Both good reads, i also am enjoying the Dawn of War II on pc along with checking out the wikipedia about the lore that resides within the genra. So much detail, its like science fiction met fantasy and went into Mass Effect for gaming and reading material. Thanks for the response as well, good to see there are others that like it

I've dismissed these as probably-terrible game tie-ins. But a Serpent recommendation is enough for me; I'll seek 'em out.
