As an Anglican Brit I obviously celebrate neither, but as a guy who is now living with his American girlfriend I have had the pleasure of celebrating Thanksgiving this year! So level with me, do you Americans really eat pumpkin pie, or am I just on the receiving end of a very cruel and not-at-all-edible practical joke?

Pumpkin pie is something that people eat during Thanksgiving. I do not like pumpkin pie and never really have. Cherry pie however is great (and I hate cherries otherwise so try to figure that one out...).

To be honest, Thanksgiving food comes in many forms. It just depends on who you're with and what traditions and cultures have been passed down in the family.

Hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving and Chanukah. We won't talk about the other thing that happens Friday that involves buying things no one needs.
