Seeing all these leave posts and looking at the date (31st of October for me - Happy Halloween!) has made me feel like i should put this up in advance: a leave post! 
Yes, I will be absent from the dates of November 12th until December 8th (CST), which purely by chance coincides with my two year mark with the VEN (November 28th.) Following this 27-day vacation to where I spent the last seven years, I'll be traveling around Australia to visit grandparents, old friends and finally, celebrating Christmas. If things pan out well, I imagine I might even be away on New Year's Eve.
What this means, I think, is that I will miss a large chunk of the VE's long awaited Chapter Nine! 
Succinctly: Nov 12th-Dec 8th I'll be gone. Following that, my internet access will be sporadic with my travels, so I can't assure any activity until the last days of 2013/the first days of 2014 - but I can assure that I'll try!

Update: Tuesday is when this leave is officially enacted, but I am excessively busy until then with preparations.
From then, until December 8th, I'll be on holidays overseas without my laptop. After December 8th, i'll have two days or so before I travel Australia to catch up with family and friends. I may or may not have internet access (though at my Grandparents house, there is understandably no internet )
Anyway, I'll update this again when I get back from my first holiday

This starts again in approximately 24 hours, at which point I will begin the 10-hour drive up to my Grandparents' house. I will return seven days after that, though the return journey might not be as fast as the journey there.. either way, I'll be back within eight days.
