Good day sirs, I am Zenadra Flurdilee or Zena for short. I am here to join the might navy of the Vast Empire.

Welcome to the Vast Empire Naval Academy, Crewman Zena.

My name is Wannabe Ensign Joamer Reistlin I'll be your Training Officer (TO) while yoru go through the Academy's Orientation program.  I'll be around to help get you acclimated to life in the Vast Empire (a process we call, "Basic Training"), the most important part of which is learning how to role-play as an Imperial starfighter pilot in an ongoing, collaboratively-written story (a set of skills which is taught in something we call, "Flight School").

With your first post here on the Naval Academy board, you've completed Imperial Initiation (well done) and are hereby clear to begin Flight School, which will prepare you for daily life as a pilot in a VE squadron.  Please note: the wiki makes mention of Command School, but that training program is currently closed to new recruits; you will be going through Flight School.

Your next step should be to visit the VE Wiki page for Flight School, found here, and begin working on Chapter 1: Character Development by clicking the appropriate link (which I notice Hades has already posted in this thread).  When you finish the assignment, post your work here in this thread (bio and ID line), so I can review it, and we'll proceed from there.  Please note: here in the VE, we write stories in the third person, past tense; you should too.

?    Physical Description
Zena stands at the typical height for her species. Her tawny brown fur clings close and trimmed short to her lithe yet broad shouldered build. Her hair flows loose and messy, with a few tendrils sticking out and a small cowlick on top of her head. Zena’s ember  cat like eyes add more to her elusive look. Her tail is elegant like a sword’s blade.

?    Personality
Zena is peculiar about her feelings. She prefers to lead others in trick riddles then to come out and say what she wants. Elusive and good with tricks make for a good time. Zena isn’t very fond of the reputation of her species as it has caused her many problems in the past. She has a personal vendetta against the new Republic because of it though. She prefers to play tricks although anyone who is willing to put up with her becomes a good friend. Although If someone is giving her orders or needs a report her words will be clear without their usual tricks.

?    Character’s Background
Zena was a born a ship hand since from a young age that’s all she can remember ever doing. She was very good at her Job If you consider giving messages to certain Patriot soldiers a job. She was a good little girl with a bright future.  She was a good sneak and a fair hand of a pick pocket although she never stole for personal need only to benefit others. Specifically stealing the payment due from a stowaway. After her seventh birth day she found out stealing was bad and so she stopped stealing and the captain agreed that she should let someone else do that job. Soon she was an assistant to the captain or so she thought. She was ten now and she had entered the captain’s quarters with a few drinks for the captain and his companions. Zena gave them the drinks and the captain called her his newest slave.

After that Zena didn't trust anyone and lead people in circles with her speech. She never trusted the captain again although she did stick around because the captain told her the truth of what happened. He had been drunk and had confused her with his former assistant. Zena signed a contract to stay until she was eighteen then she would be on her own. Three days before her eighteenth birth day and the captain took a load of Farghul into new republic territory. The new republic attacked and because of the people on the ship the New republic blamed them for being thieves and other unruly people. A kind man found Zena hiding in an escape pod. He fired the escape pod when the new republic came for him. The wurst of it all the man who launched Zena was her father. So she was forced to watch as the ship she had lived her whole life on be ransacked and taken by the new republic. She swore to take revenge and she found the way. She was at a cantina when she heard of the vast empire. So with luck she found her way to a vast empire planet and enlisted.

Very nicely done. Not sure we've had a Farghul before, will be interesting watching her story line progress as time goes on.

Our sincerest apologies, Zena. You appeared to have fallen through the gaps. I'm TO Gurlanin, and I'll be taking over from Joamer here, because he's ....... well, wondered off somewhere. Probably for food.

I've read your post, and it's looking very good. The only thing I would say to improve it, would be to watch your punctuation and grammar. There are a lot of double spaces, missing capital letters, random capitals in the middle sentences, etc. whilst not the end of the world, it would help to brush it out.

Zena’s Report: November/5th/2013
Activity: This week so far my activity was low because I was still working on my Loyalty, Honor, and Courage post.  Although in the past i have made a wiki page and formed my character within the VEN.

Upcoming plans: After completing filing this report (and if it's accepted) I plan to find which ship I am being posted to and begin getting myself embedded in the current story. Which will be followed by changing my IC wiki pageand my ID line.
