Ooh that's a fun one Skarr! Nice move!
I'll go ahead and say Jamie Bamber. His role as Lee Adama in RDM's Battlestar Galactica was brilliant. He did a whole range of emotions, was truly heartfelt, and made a damn convincing officer in a space-going military.

I actually have this convo with Havvie on a weekly basis!
Famke Janssen for Kami.
For two reasons. Firstly, I'm a total fan girl of hers. She's absolutely stunning! Secondly, she does crazy/unpredictable/scary so well. I loved her as Jean in the X-Men trilogy, even in Last Stand where the franchise spiraled off track. Kristanna Loken or possibly Katee Sackhoff but I've always based her on Loken from Painkiller Jane (short lived show but damn that's so Havvie lol)

And this might be weird but I've always seen Tryk as more of a Ralph Fiennes type. That is an interesting idea there, Kami. Ralph Fiennes would be an interesting Trykon.
For myself, I'm not really sure about who to cast as Skarr, but I certainly have a character in mind for Vexus. A younger Gary Oldman would work excellently for Vexus in my mind. He's a talented actor and I have no doubt that he could pull of the rage and snideness that Vexus can display. I actually typed Ralph Fiennes, but before I hit submit, I looked up a picture, just to make sure he is still lookin' the way he used to look. Suffice it to say, recent photos convinced me to say someone else. I can not think of anyone to do either of my characters. Johnny Depp would be the obvious choice for Snipes, but Snipes is also much more the figther than Depp usually plays. Hond is sort of a catastrophe, maybe Brandon Lee a la The Crow. Maybe Benicio Del Toro for Hond? I could see that. He could almost do either really. Del Toro is getting a bit old for Hond though. Hrm, it seems like there should be perfect actors for both, but I can never remember who they are. I would hurl words into this darkness and wait for an echo, and if an echo sounded, no matter how faintly, I would send other words to tell, to march, to fight, to create a sense of hunger for life that gnaws in us all.

I forget who my main choice was... Shanne and I spent hours deliberating over this topic. I think Brandon Routh was a contender... Ian Tracey, Christopher Heyerdahl, and Johnathan Young were good ones too. I need a tall actor with a naturally creepy/steely look.
