As well as that, and I'll be saying this to my squadron too, but it is inevitable that your characters will meet characters from other squadrons, such as Strill.

Anyone from Strill's Cresh flight (bar Taltos) is fair game for you to develop, should you so desire. Make friends with them, or make them your mortal nemesis! It's up to you!

Awesome. Just remember that when a main navy-wide story is going on, technically that takes priority so don't forget that.

I have to say guys, I am super impressed with the activity this week! All together with my post ending this week's report we racked up a total of 10 posts! Now let's keep this up and we will be sure victors of Captain's Own!

Ok guys, I've finally started reading and here's the thing, there is nothing wrong with the quality of writing, but I am concerned with the content.

Here in the Comnet we have several divisions of which the two main (and still used) are Navy and Army. Those are open to everyone. What is NOT open to everyone is the Dark Jedi Order. Nobody's character can be a dark jedi of any type or be force sensitive in the slightest save for one instance: you are accepted into the DJO.

How does one get accepted into the DJO? On the main DJO thread there will be a posting that applications are open. During that time you may submit an application in hopes to be accepted. Once applications are closed you will be evaluated and then those who are accepted will gain access to the rest of the threads as well as be allowed to have a character that is a dark jedi.

In the navy we have a few DJO members. I, Hades, Tryk, and Drac are all members and therefore allowed to write from this perspective. The reason you may not see us writing as such in story is because some of us have different characters we use specifically for the DJO. In the case of Tryk and Drac, their main characters are dark jedi and therefore will appear in this current story. However, while ooc we may know this, the DJO is secret. Those who know Tryk is in the DJO outside of their own members are very few if any at all. Others may have suspicions but are not privy to the facts. Drac is also not known to be a part of it either.

Sorry I made a super long post about this. I just finished this semester and finally have time to read more in-depth. I am sorry I did not catch this sooner and thus left you all unaware that this was an issue. Please let me know if you have further questions about this topic. If I can't answer them, I know many others who can.

Edit: I totally forgot DeepSix was a part of the DJO and I'm just gonna leave this booze here so if he sees this then I won't get murdered.

Just to add: usually, Navy members don't write about the Force at all in Navy stories (even those of us in the DJO).  It's just that in the Chapter, there is much more cooperation in-story between the divisions, so characters (and topics) from one division may appear in stories with characters (and topics) from the others.  In addition, part of the plot of this Chapter specifically is that the Dark Jedi Order is announcing itself to the Vast Empire's public, trying to rebrand themselves as heroes working WITH the VE military, rather than a shadowy organization only hinted to exist.

I'm sorry I didn't catch this content earlier, either.  As Avalar mentioned, it's been a tough few months for all of us, with real life stuff.  But please, continue to observe the "No Force rule" until you apply - and get in - to the DJO division.

A little bit of set-up about headaches = totally fine.

Specifically mentioning the Force, Jedi, Sith, lightsabers, or supernatural "powers" like telekinesis or telepathy = not permitted for anyone who hasn't successfully gone through the DJO application process.

I'm glad you're interested in Jedi content, though.  The next time applications are open for the Order, submit!
