I would like to ask that everyone be on IRC after the VE meeting tomorrow for a squad meeting. This will be mainly to get everyone informed about the way the squad is going to be run now.
If you cannot make it to the meeting then feel free to post here about it or send me an email and I will get the information to you.
Aim for the meeting to be at 6 CST, 7 EST, or when ever 6 CST is for you. I'm not that great with converting time.
Also, I would like to request that everyone look into joining the Dark Dragoons' Forums if it isn't too much trouble for everyone to do. Information will be posted there about different things. That way it isn't lost in this topic and hunted down. -----------------------

Have a few questions about the current story, is this a sim or an actual training exercise in the field? The title of the story and what has been written kind of clash somewhat.
And what kind of scenario are we looking to deal with? A variety of different ones, like city streetscapes and jungles etc? Because if that's the case a sim is the only logical choice.
Just throwing the questions out there. I just want to be sure before I post anything else and can't seem to catch you online Sammy -----------------------

The title was intended for something like "We don't need a sim." Sarcasm, I guess.
As far as this being a sim or not, it isn't. I look at it kind of like paintball/laser tag as it were or you could think of it similar to the event in Child's Play 3, only no possessed doll or live rounds. Mind you that wasn't the bases for the story, just needed a comparison. It is going to be somewhat like the "Dark vs. Dragoons" story, only not in a sim and not against ourselves.
The field of play hasn't really been set as far as cityscape, jungle, wooded, or etc, but essentially we are going to a paintball type field, which could be type of landscaping.
Also, this isn't actual paintball or laser tag. Basically, a dampener in placed on the guns to cause the bolt to give a small shock to the person hit rather than actually cause harm.
I hope that this clears up some stuff. If anyone should have anymore questions, please feel free to ask. -----------------------
