Managed to talk to Fury some last night, I have a mission for us to do. I'll give the simplified version here though.
Since the planet is all islands we will be using some watercraft for this. When we land, we will be issued 3 watercraft, I haven't be given specifics so I am sort of creating it. The vehicles will be able to fit four people plus gear. It has a medium laser cannon on the front right of the craft and the craft is piloted from the front left. Think of something like a black open speeder for the water. We will also try to grab ourselves a couple of civilian swoops. These bikes are much faster than the military ones and are very open with no weapons but they'll make for useful transport. We will load whatever swoops we can gather plus all of our gear and ammunition into the watercraft. In addition we will scrounge as much as we can in terms of supplies there, food, water, and other useful things. Once we gather all of this, we will take the watercrafts to a chain of islands about 25 kilometers away. There we will find a location to make a base of operations. Preferably someplace in the brush so we aren't easily visible. We may also need to build a makeshift shelter for the boats so they aren't spotted. Once our base is established, we will conduct strike, hit and fade, and reconnaisance missions on the island chains using both our swoops, boats, and sometimes just by walking. There are going to be 5 islands where we are going so we will have plenty to do. During our strikes, we will try and take whatever ammunition and supplies we can find as we are quite limited in what is available to us. I'm going to talk to Fury to see if the Imperial garrison has any aircraft, if so we may light up a few targets for bombing. I am sure there will also be some strongholds, shield generators, anti-capital ship cannons, and maybe one or two enemy bases that house boats they use for strikes.
I think this will be a fun part of the story. It has the potential for running a long time so we will continue to do new missions in order to spice it up. We'll be on our own for an extended period of time so it's good for some squad building and whatnot...hope you all enjoy it. Until I hear otherwise we will continue to do these strikes. -----------------------

Ok I want to start spicing things up a bit in here with a couple of competitions. They will be for various games and other things and I have nice prizes (including case) for the winners.
Competition #1: JKO single elimination dueling competition.
Once I know everyone who will play I'll draw up round one match ups. Assuming all 6 JKO players play, the 3 winners will move on to round two along with the loser who had the most kills.
In round two, the player who held his opponent to the fewest kills will play the loser who qualified. The middle two will play each other. Winners move on to final, losers play for 3rd.
Itll be a dueling game up to 5. I hope to get these type of competitions done either within one or two days.
Those who are interrested let me know here ASAP please.
I have some other competitions ideas in the works too so stand by, more stuff coming soon! -----------------------

Ok I think I have an idea for a blackjack tournament...Ill post format later.
On the story front, here's what I see happening. I am waiting for the 4 on the recon mission to make it back to base. Those at base will prepare for that gunship...i have an idea to deal with that.
Once you get back after finding the guns, we'll prepare to go and take em out...ill post a plan a little later as well. Until then, finish your recon mission, we'll nail the gunboat and prepare the gear for the mission. -----------------------

I want to get it for PC and X Box because me and my friends want to system link at our bi-weekly LAN parties. Does anyone know though is it going to be like a Halo LAN with 4 people to an X Box or is it going to be like Counter Strike with 1 person to an X Box?
