I got two hypotheses why everyone gets a bunkmate:

1) Army saves money for more...useful things, like assault shuttles. Expensive buggers.

2) In any emergency, at least you got someone watching your back.

On another note, you all might have noticed Kami reviving the spec story thread on the stormie story thread. Since we have some spare time between the Chapter Phases, this would be a perfect time to choose a spec. Specs are found here. You can have one basic level spec and one advanced. Make sure you check the requirements for advanced level specialties. If you have questions contact Afyon/Arturus, Rizzit, or myself. If you have an idea of what you want to be, post it here or e-mail it to Afyon and myself.

Ignore the stormtrooper option for basic. If you made it out of Drill you already are one.

I also will not be joining you in Chapter 8. Please don't write me cause I have a lot going on and do not have time to post on Chapter 8 and get caught back up. I will join you in the next story though; until then, i will do what I can to keep our squad active as possible.
