By completing another Certification track, Serpent has earned a x1 promotion to Ensign, which makes him eligible to complete the FOCE and earn permanent officer status. The Naval High Command, however, has already seen a major, division-improving project from Serpent: namely, the awards/medals overhaul he did some months back. As such, his FOCE is considered complete, and he is therefore promoted another x1 to Lieutenant Junior Grade.

Congratulations, Lieutenant Serpent, on a well-earned rise to the officer ranks.

Thanks a lot, Trick! You now have a Fleet XO who is an actual officer! And thank you too Hades for your support. I can't wait to see you become an officer too!

(Actually, going straight to Lieutenant Junior Grade makes a lot of sense to me, being British. We don't have Ensigns. And we call our Junior Grade Lieutenants 'Sub-Lieutenants', so please forgive me if I accidently use that term in my posts!)
