Hey, folks.
Pestilence and Famine are winding down, and War - the next installment in the Counterpunch arc - is set to begin very soon! The Imperial Dominion has been the Vast Empire's nemesis, looming in the background of most stories for the past 2+ years, and at last, we're taking the fight to them!
This is going to be a truly epic arc, when all is said and done, and the beginning of this next story will coincide with a number of really exciting OOC changes/improvements to the Starfighter Corps and Fleet Command rosters. In short, it's an exciting time to be in the VEN!
But, before all the shinies are handed out for the work on Famine and Pestilence, and before all the new positions are sorted out in the lead-up to War, I'd like everyone who's still actively checking the ComNet to please check in, briefly, in this thread. Reporting has become a little lax of late, especially since many commanders have been on leave in the past weeks, so I just want to get a head count as we head into this next week. 
So, regardless of what the roster says you are (Reserves, MIA, Active Duty), if you are regularly checking the ComNet and want to be involved with VEN: Counterpunch: War (the next all-Navy story, coming in about a week), please reply to this thread saying so. You can also feel free to ask any questions or raise any concerns you might have. Dawn went on a road trip and was not heard from again. Eli13778 said he'd be back in late July and hasn't been here since. Hey Trick! I'm here!
Been out of touch for a few days with this Thanksgiving thing (had my first Thanksgiving dinner and party! I was the only non-American out of the ten of us, but I felt oddly welcomed and had a great time!)
I am totally on board for Counterpunch:War! I shall be concluding Famine in just a few days (if I can peel myself away from SWTOR) and shall be ready to cause some chaos.

Seen the thread yesterday, back when Dunny was the last to check in but figured I'd post when I'd get back home. Alas I never got home last night so here I am once more logging in from work.
Long story short - I'm around. I've never stopped being around, it's just that work in these past couple of weeks sort of murdered my overall activity. December is just around the corner however and things are bound to pick up as far as I'm concerned.
