Promise to have my post up by Friday night at the latest though I'm aiming for sometime tomorrow night.

Having one hell of a week, my schedule's hectic and not feeling my best - the cold weather's wreaking havoc on my body temp (kinda complicated but mine's higher than normal and it gets higher in the winter, goes down to its 'normal' in the summer and fluctuates in the fall and Spring) And the colder weather's also messing with some old injuries so not sleeping very well and that sorta thing.

So expect my post up tomorrow, Friday at the latest

Okay, my latest post is up!  The engagement at T-8-Chex is now winding down, and the aim is to have it concluded next week.  That is not to say that the story is being ended.  This opening encounter was just to get us into things, and when this minor skirmish wraps, we move on to the next of Captain Trykon's orders:

Quote:You will also be provided with the coordinates for the surrounding stops along that trade route: all of those systems are to be cleared of all shipping and settlements, as well.

In short, we will move on to a week of random posts about sacking Imperial Dominion planets.  Everyone can make up a world and briefly detail the attack, noting your character's joy/regret about sacking helpless settlements.

After a week of such posts, we will have a 'final battle' to conclude Famine, with far more serious foes than we have faced in this current engagement.

Okay folks, in the next couple of days I shall move the story on a bit.  Sorry I haven't been around much, but I am doing NaNoWriMo this year and its consuming a lot of my time this month.

I am working hard on NaNoWriMo right now, but will make time this weekend to get another world-bashing post up then!  Someone please beat me to it so I don't have to triple post to the story!

Okay folks, the time is fast approaching when we need to wrap this one up.  I will be ending the 'world raiding' stage very soon, so if ye want in on it best do it in the next few days!

After that, things will move to the grand finale and a big battle, larger and far more dangerous than our little opening skirmish.  Get ready folks, we are going to end this on a bang!

One last thing to note on the Counterpunch Awards folks!  The abbreviations for them are [CC:1] or [CC:2] depending on how many you have got.  In the future, with more Counterpunch stories, new awards will simply raise your number.

In other words, everyone will have one [CC:?] in their ID line, rather than a whole line of them for three or four different Counterpunch stories.  Its just neater that way!
