Okay folks, with the completion of Out of the Invisible, Drac has given me the go-ahead to start the next story.

This one is primarily for capship people (I believe the Tuks are working on their own story/bar fight/bank robbery).  However, any pilots who want to join in with some NPC posts are welcome!

The orders and forces are all there in the first post.  We have to stop plague-carrying civilians fleeing Lasoris Minor, and also fight the Eleven Spears Mercenaries.  Between those forces and ours there is plenty of room for NPC posts and stories, so let's flex our creative muscles a bit!

I have already began writing a second post where I explain the background of the Eleven Spears a bit, but as is noted in the story, their main 3 capital ships (and indeed their starfighters) are old Confederacy of Independent Systems vessels.

Its time for the VE versus the Separatists!  Have at them folks!

Would anyone mind particularly if I jumped in as an NPC pilot and/or an NPC in the mercenary group?

I have almost got my next post ready, though right now I am working on a Cert for my character.  Expect my next one for The BLockade to be up this weekend!

The post started as a writing exercise, but then I was running late for 4th of July barbecues, so by the end there it skirts perilously close to outright plagiarism, when I was concerned mostly with finishing off the scene and posting.  So, if Max Brooks (and/or his attorney) stumbles upon this, please know: I think you're rad, and I intend no infringement of your IP rights!  I'm just a fan trying to understand HOW you manage to be so awesome, by playing with your prose a bit.  And again, VE people: read World War Z! 

Oh love the post Hades!  You and Trick have both taken this story to a zombie-filled place that I never envisioned when I threw in the Hive Virus part of the backstory, but it works so well!

(Its for reasons like that, where others get an idea and take it in directions that the original writer never thought of, that I do co-operative stories!)

Alright, fourth post in the Zombie Smuggler arc is up. If there are any inconsistencies you want changed, let me know since I used both Serpent and Drac in this post, even if they only played a minor part. Expect some exciting dogfighting to come; smuggler vs. Imperial vs. Mercenary!

Just a head's up people, I'm away for a long weekend.  I was trying to post before, but it seems I'm out of time.

Not going to waste time on the leave thread for a simple 3 day absence, but just thought I'd let you know that my next post for this story (the one concluding the Governor Orzik arc) won't be up until next tuesday at the earliest.

Now, a Japanese festival awaits!

My 5th post is up, and Governor Orzik has now paid for his crimes.

Okay, my latest post for this is up and I have pushed things forward a bit.

Trick, the mercs are sending a Nebulon-B to get you while you tangle with the Long Claws.  And Drac, Admiral Ralthra has spotted the Halcyon Warrior headed for his position and fully intends to be gone before you arrive.  Beat him to the punch!

waves...Yeah so I started school and its hell but I am hoping to start on a post tomorrow after I get done with my homework.

My activity's been low, for this one, but I used it as an opportunity to show that Trick isn't a Mary Sue: my latest post has my ship being forced to withdraw, before the gamble pays off and we're able to actually destroy the light destroyer we were targeting.
