Life is being a real roller coaster for me right now - up, down, sometimes off the rails.. I'm almost overwhelmed with my workload and I find myself with less and less time to spare for the VE..
/me sighs.
I also have been stumped, creative-wise, lately. I find myself lacking inspiration in my writing and the quality thereof. So, I'll have to go on indefinite leave.. I just can't maintain regular activity currently and I apologise for that. I don't know when I'll be back to full activity, but presumably it will be with my first vacation..
I may post on the story(ies) I am involved with once or twice a fortnight but again, due to lack of my own creativity and time IRL, I can't guarantee anything.

Good luck with RL stuff, Hades!
But also, if I may: try not to beat yourself up for writer's block, or a "lack of creativity." Personally, I've found the VE very helpful in training me to maintain a writing practice, writing regularly whether or not "inspiration" strikes on a given day. If you have other things to take care of, by all means, take care of them; I'm just rooting for you to get back to us as soon as possible. It's been over three months since I went on leave and yes, life has been far more hectic than I gave it credit for. Even my first vacation - which ended up being only 3 days last week - did not give me time to come back. However, with my next exam this Thursday and my second semester starting in approximately three weeks, I should - but don't hold me to this - be able to return to active duty in the next two weeks. I am sincerely hoping I can, but no promises.
