Sorry I don't have time to play, Serpent, but you posting a recommendation for something else you enjoy here on the ComNet has gotten me thinking: there MUST be opportunities for VE recruitment that are going unnoticed.  Yes, we appear to be one of the only play-by-post forums that allows this kind of "advertising" for other games (we can tell each other about other games we play, without Kadann or someone freaking out or saying it is against the rules, which is apparently not the case with a lot of other forums).  But I propose a new, informal rule: every time we post to the ComNet, mentioning something else we like and play and want other VEers to do with us - Castleville, that geo-political nation-state game, Minecraft, whatever - we find a way to return the favor, mentioning the VE to our fellow Castville-ers, nation-state rpg players, Minecraft group, or whatever.

We all need to seek out new lifeforms and new civilizations (a.k.a. potential citizens of the Empire!)...
