Genius. George Lucas would never have approved something like that, but in a perfect universe (i.e. the one where Star Wars canon is managed by fandom majority)... I think Lucas's biggest problem was he didn't have the Hero's Journey to follow in the prequels so the story just sort of stumbled around. That was truly awesome, Trick! Where do you find these things? I loved everything he said, and it would be so much better. And while we may all look at the Star Wars prequels and say "its been done, they are locked that way forever and cannot be fixed", I prefer to take a more optimistic view. Hollywood love remakes. Some day, someone will re-do Star Wars. All 6, from start to finish, re-imagined. Either it will be a triumph (like the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica) or a nightmare of epic proportions (like the remake of Planet of the Apes). Episodes 1, 2 and 3 could be remade so much better, and (though I expect to get lambasted for this) there are even parts of episode 4,5 and 6 that could have been better. I did think this was quite good. He made some really good points, but I felt he was misinformed about the whole mind trick thing. As awesome as it was though, I felt as if by the end, he was just prattling on with filler content. He just kept prolonging the whole video. Maybe he intended to make things funny, but he's trying to make a point. And the point was certainly interesting enough to where I don't need comedy. I like Harrison Fords idea for Star Wars, he was against Han coming back in RotJ. If Padme/Obi-Wan had some sort of relationship in Phantom, the love triangle when Anakin reached his late teens/early 20's would have been very interesting. I so think this guy's ideas are good, and would make a great movie. I also think that episodes I-III could have been better. But I like them the way they are. Fear is just an excuse for someone who is to lazy to take action.
Bravery is a fools excuse for running at something without taking time to think or strategize.
Courage is being able to man up and face a problem, no matter how large or difficult it may be, and take it down.
