Physical Description
Built small and slim, she'd be far more suited to sitting behind a control yoke than fighting on the ground even had it not been her choice. Though she isn't, necessarily, out of shape, it's quite clear by simply looking at her that athletics are by no means her strong point. In spite of appearances, however, she boasts surprising stamina when necessary, proving more often than not to be a rather energetic individual.

Personality
Naomi is, in short, a highly competitive, impulsive, easily startled, meticulous conversationalist. She loves a good debate or argument with anyone or anything (Not excluding droids), especially if the argument in question is one she knows she can win. The same holds true for a contest of any type, be it of skill or wit, although she would never go so far as to allow this to result in the death of an ally or friend- As to do so would be seen as failure on her part. She also will avoid argument for the simple sake of argument. As stated, she is very easy to startle, and as social as she is by nature tends to avoid physical contact. In the cockpit of a fighter, she feels perfectly at home, and even tends to become more gutsy by far (Presumably for appearances' sake) than ever she would standing on the ground or even the deck of a cruiser.

Background
Ryuno was born on Charubah in 10BBY, to a relatively well-off family during Hapes' period of political isolation from the rest of the Galaxy. In early life, her education consisted of etiquette and cultural studies just as much as it did that of life-skills, with perhaps some emphasis to the former. Her jumpy, nervous nature gave her the nickname 'Twitch' early on, at some point in the midst of her school days. Of course she objected to it at first, but like nicknames tend to do, it stuck, and was eventually accepted by its subject as something she just wasn't going to shake.

She was eighteen when Hapes lifted the exclusively isolationist policies that it had seen in the past, at which point she would for the first time leave the Cluster for the express purpose of learning and exploration- First aboard hired transports that would take her wherever, at the time, they might be bound, which would unfortunately remove her almost completely from contact with her home. This would carry her in a nomadic lifestyle for almost a full standard year, until she could actually afford to have a vessel cobbled together. The outcome was an unarmed, single-crew monstrocity of durasteel with a sub-standard hyperdrive and painfully mediocre sublight capability. The only beauty of the craft was in the fact that it was extremely easy to pick up on and fly.

In her travels, she learned quite a bit about the past war between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, and struggles of what remained of the Empire to return to its former glory in the shadow of the established 'New Republic'. She would later come to join this fight, but not under the shaky command of the Imperial Remnant. By the point in time that she actually would join the Vast Imperial Navy, she had amassed not inconsiderable amount of experience navigating her clinker of a transport and had established independence, with the exception of major operations, when it came to maintenence of the same. Her actual seeking out of the Vast Empire would begin as she, on a stop, overheard conversation of a group of Spacers that had been halted and searched by patrol craft when passing through Imperial-controlled space.
