Very strange...I've lived in Oklahoma for fifteen years now without feeling a single earthquake. Now I've felt two in one day (and several others happened that I didn't notice). Color me concerned...

I'm not a seismologist (shocking revelation, I know), but as a life-long fault-zone-dweller, I do have some experience with earthquakes large and small... My advice: have some water and canned goods on hand, learn what to do during a quake (move to a doorway or under a sturdily-built table; do NOT go outside), and then don't think about it too much. There's nothing more to do, unfortunately.

I wish a doorway would do me some good. Being seven stories up in a dorm tower means I'll just be choosing which slab of concrete squishes me, though.

This latest one at 10:53 PM was a 5.6...strongest in Oklahoma history.
