We contacted the rescue she got Aiden and Eddie from and they are disgusted. We are trying to get her to surrender them back to the rescue, and if she does the rescue is sign them to us.

That really sucks. Hope the animals come out okay.

That sort of situation is why I don't have a pet and don't plan on getting one...my family's had dogs before and I acknowledge that I tended to ignore them for the most part. It'd be cruel for me to buy a pet knowing I very likely wouldn't give it much attention. So...my laptop's my pet, I suppose. lol
