Personality: A partially serious person, cannot take many things serious, and has an affinity for technology, and very honorable.

Bio: Born among the Nightbrothers on Dathomir. His parents having two other children, with Ratan being the youngest, he had help from his brothers for many things, but had the hardest of trials to prove himself a man. He earned himself a name as beast hunter after taming a rampaging young Rancor, with his crafted hunting knife, instead of killing it as ordered by the Elder tribesmen. Along with it being a friend to Ratan the rancor helped the tribe in many ways to solve problems, hunt, and build. As Ratan had been out hunting with his eldest brother and the Rancor, Black Sun came abroad and began to slaughter people, one of them had been the father and brother of Ratan. The women and young children were taken as slaves.

By the time the three returned, everything had been either burning or ash on the ground, with a few armoured men shooting dead corpses and laughing. A Trandoshan had been among them dragging a child away into a small ship. Ratan, his brother, and the rancor had sprung a trap, and quickly overwhelmed and killed the pirates left. Ratan decided to take the small ship up and attack the pirates on their own turf. Ratans' brother protested, but regardless joined him, with the small Rancor following and barely fitting on board. On board they stumbled onto a few children trapped in cages and a Trandoshan laughing while hitting them with a stun baton. Ratan tried sneaking up to stab the beast, but failed as the trandoshan heard him, and began whacking Ratan with his baton. Ratans' brother saved him from certain death with a swift shot of a blaster pistol to the arm and then to the legs. Ratan got up, released the children, and began to drag the squirming crippled trando to the cockpit. And with a quick order, and death threat, the trandoshan flew the freighter off into space.

The freighter arrived to dock upon a partially destroyed Venator class- Star Destroyer. It had been riddled with holes and a blown tip, along with a few destroyed turrets, but it had been flying regardless. The freighter landed in the right hangar. It was basically empty for the exception of a few slaves, and droids. The lights were dimmed and flashing. Ratan hog tied the trandoshan and placed him in a cage, before leaving and causing some mayhem. He reprogrammed some of the droids to help out, and start an offensive. His rancor had lead a charge in the hallway with freed slaves following and attacking anything, and his bother had gone to find their mother. Ratan had gone and lead another charge with a few of the freed slaves towards the bridge, picking up armour and weapons when able. While being pinned down in a choir of lasers, a small flicker of lights happened.

An Imperial Star Destroyer had come out of hyperspace appearing right above the Venator. A couple Black Sun stopped firing and retreated, being shot down immediately as they turned their backs by their own friends. A man behind cover had yelled at the cowards and repeated his punishment for cowardice. Meanwhile a boarding party, filled with crewman of the Navy, had taken a small shuttle right down and into one of the breaks in the hull of the Venator that had been big enough. The group had encountered a Rancor with oddly armed people behind it finishing off a remaining score of Black Sun. The Rancor simply stayed and lowered its claws looking curiously at the boarding party which had their blasters pointed up. The boarding party had been out of uniform with the other enemies, the slaves behind the Rancor had joined the beast and starred at the men. One of the party of Crewmen waved asking a couple questions and leaving in the opposite way as the Rancor and the seven slaves kept going their way.

Eventually the group came across Ratan and the four slaves he had been with, being pinned down by many Black Sun. The boarding party had decided to flank them and took a corridor that went around the group, which they encountered a small amount of resistance before finally coming up behind the group of Black Sun. The party let their blaster rip and the Black Sun died in a few seconds. Ratan and the liberated slaves thanked them and had gone with the party to capture over the bridge.

Coming across a couple group before reaching the bridge door, and finsing out it had been locked. A couple charges had been placed on the door and blown, quickly a rain of fire poured through. Stopping only slightly the Black Sun had to reload, one of the Navy crewmen threw a flash frag. The ones closest to it died from shrapnel, the others further away had simply been dazed. Ratan with his group, and the crewmen entered quickly placing bursts into the legs of the ones stilled dazed. Ratan ran up quickly in front of the group and threw a punch at the closest Black Sun, and kept running. He jumped at the Black Sun leader, who had been decorated and outfitted the best, getting a good grip on his rifle he kept smashing the butt of it into the helmet, cracking it and breaking it utterly until the face had been revealed. Ratan hadn't stopped  and knocked the man completely unconscious.

Ratan had properly introduced himself to the group and two more boarding parties had been sent to clear out the rest of the Black Sun, and rescue the slaves. Those of the tribe had been left on Dathomir, along with many who had nowhere to go. The others that had not wanted to stay had been taken to the imperial Navy as conscripts. Ratan had gone with them though had wanted to sign up in service with the Navy.

He had almost been mistaken for a slave before a few people had vouched for what he had done. He had joined in the Navy with his families blessing.

Hopefully it's not that bad. I kind of got into the bio too much and told a small story, hehe.

Also I started the Wiki page yesterday, with a little help of where to get the skeleton, and help with making the page.

Interesting approach to chapter 2, I just want to caution you that in a real combat situation it would be unlikely that you would have been able to pull off what you did. If you could edit this to be more realistic, perhaps with you getting relieved in the middle of things, but perhaps the captain putting you back on the console when the LT messes it up. That would make sense, and would be a far more accurate (and interesting) story. I guarantee that if this were to happen on my bridge I would have the crewman placed under guard unless I became convinced he was right. So great post, just the events are not exactly reasonable, you need a little more realism, but other than that, great writing.
