One heck of a weeks

Just so everyone knows, this coming week I'll be spotty, in terms of activity: have a couple birthdays to attend, and my best friend from high school is getting MARRIED!

So excited; I'm walking both moms (groom's and bride's) down the aisle during the ceremony.

Anyway, I'll consequently be less active around here than I am usually, specifically from Tuesday the 21st until Monday the 27th.

But with that said, this isn't a true "leave." I'll still be able to perform my FTO duties (so SCTP midshipmen and Junior Officer candidates, you're not on vacation!

Keep writing!), and I will try to get a post up as a SCAP, but can't promise much in terms of my various leadership roles. It can't be helped, I'm afraid. And, as I said, I'll still be around, checking the ComNet at least even when I'm unable to get on irc.

Real Life just got much, much more empty for me...

The upswing of that, of course, is that I'll be around the VE even more, now.

Anyway, I'm extending this pseudo-leave until the 1st of July. By then, the new Fleet Command overhaul of VENA should be done, and I'll return to my usual level of activity on everything else.
