I've been thumbing this idea for well-over two months now...
It is with great sorrow that I must announce my retirement from Vast Empire Naval Service, effective immediately.
My reasons for leaving are my own.
As my final act as Squadron Commander, I am recommending the promotion Master Chief Petty Officer Maroy to the rank of Warrant Officer 2nd Class, for valorous deeds and exceptional service to the squadron and to the Navy. I am also recommending the promotion Petty Officer 1st Class Avalar to the rank of Chief Petty Officer for quality writing and exceptional enthusiasm.
WO2 Maroy is to replace me as Squadron Commander, and CPO Avalar is to replace her as Squadron Executive Officer.

So I'm wondering why this hasn't been locked... but...
seeing how it isn't... I'm going to make use of it again. I'm retiring. This time, permanent. I just haven't been interested in writing here at all anymore, and I don't like taking up space.
