See your thread, Echelon; I responded there.
Dunny, you passed with your usual flair. Vehicle Mechanic Ancillary Skill earned. 
Three notes:
1. Please edit out the "one with the Machine Force" bit. It's funny, and rather meta, but still violates the "No Force Rule."
2. This was a bit explicit in certain sections, as you warned. It doesn't bother me particularly, and you did include a disclaimer, but since the ComNet is supposed to be PG-13, it might be best to leave the more violent action "off camera," in future posts.
3. The technology descriptions never quite strayed into the totally unbelievable, but the scenario (especially in the context of the larger ongoing story) is beginning to get implausible. As you move forward, remember: major repairs and refits in a battle zone are unlikely, given the chaos, A, and B, this is all still a simulation! I have every faith that you'll "keep it real" and wrap it all up nicely, but I'd be remiss not to mention it.
I'm always going to try to give suggestions for things to improve, but all in all, this was a great post, Dunn.

It's an entertaining read, Dunny, and you're certainly making great progress getting 'em up, but as is my way, I temper praise with constructive criticism:
1. We're getting past the point of plausibility, for me... wasn't this a simulation? How are the "deaths" happening? You may have a heck of a plot twist or device in mind, so I'm withholding judgment, but as it stands now, I'm getting worried about how this all will make sense in the greater context. It's not a super big deal, since skill and cert missions take place outside of official canon, for the most part (so this might just be thought of as an Alternate Universe kind of tale which simply clears you the member/writer to use skills, without actually describing how your PC Dunny acquired the skills), but thought I'd mention it again.
2. For a post about interrogation, there wasn't a terribly large fraction devoted to psychology... the overall lesson seems to be that torture has limited applications, but I didn't get a sense of viable alternatives to torture, necessarily. Kind of seems like Dunny just said: "we all kill, since war's messy, so you might as well turn your coat and kill for us now," and then the Republic tanker just sort of agreed.
Again, you've passed another one, and done a really good job, but as I say, I'm always going to try to offer ways to improve for the future. The overarching suggestion this time around is: remember the given circumstances. IC, you're set up the story to take place within a simulated exercise, and OOC, you're trying to prove you can write convincingly about interrogations, so make sure you satisfy those requirements (staying true to the "given circumstances") before anything else.
Hopefully that's all helpful, as intended, rather than discouraging. I'm very much enjoying Dunn's adventures. Now, shift some of this creativity and output a bit, and post to a Task Force story!
