There are all kinds of general slang and also derogatory insults for Imperial troops and ships. There are not, however, many terms used by Imperials against their adversaries. So, let's make some up. Saying "you Rebel scum" is fine and dandy for the movies, but let's get something more to the point. Visceral. Emotional. Mean even. Cue up some new slang terms. Tell us why if you can. Provide an example. We'll stick the best ones on the wiki, maybe even vote for some best of. Don't get too crazy, but let's get creative and see what your filthy little minds can come up with. Luke or Lukes (clearly referencing Skywalker). Such as "Luke's out there pri'ats, and he's watching you, studying you." Similar in use to "Charlie" by American forces to refer to viet cong in Vietnam.
Farm-boys works, but you just can't summon the same combination of contempt and mystery with it.
"Softies" to refer to infantry, since they don't have armor. "Captain, got a company of softies trying to penetrate our rear perimeter"
"Cover our rear, cover our rear!"
I also like 'dirt farmers', although that might be good to just reference locals of whatever planet we're taking over today. "Sir, the dirt farmers on planet Dirt are inciting rebellion again"
"Embargo dirt trade from that planet, once we start hitting the dirt merchants in the wallet they'll calm down"

Let's try that on for size actually. Victor Charlie is the original derivation for Charlie, from Viet-Cong of course.
So what? Rebels = Romeos? Kinda not the lesson to send. Or to use the Aurebesh, the Resh. Though Reshies sounds a little childish.

I like Reshies. Rather than 'Hoth'd,' though, it'd be better to use 'Derra'd.' Hoth was a draw- yeah, we did take the base. But the vast majority of them got away scott free. Derra IV, though...now that was a Reshie Shoot.
