Rogueboy surveyed the battlefield, a dissatisfied smirk running across his face as he filed his report, a distant explosion reminded him that the battle still waged on below. Looking over to the pilot of the AT-ST Rogueboy signalled him to continue forward. “Let’s get closer to the action.” The Stormtrooper’s Executive Officer commanded.

“Yes, sir.” The pilot said in a voice akin to a droids.

The AT-ST began to climb a small hill, “Sir if I might ask why are you here?”  The Imperial army driver asked.

“When you’re a trooper you’re a trooper to the end.” The Executive Officer tried to crack a joke.

The driver shrugged, and didn’t press the issue. The real reason that Rogueboy was on this backwater planet and writing a battle report was because the prefect wanted a report on how effective the Imperial Army was at subjugating a planet, and how they behave when under fire. As of yet they seemed to follow orders admirably, two men had tried to break away from their squad and retreat against orders. The squad leaders had shot them in the back as a reminder to the rest of their men that desertion was unacceptable.

Currently the AT-ST that Rogueboy was sharing with the pilot was separated from the rest of the company. The reason for this was that RB was monitoring helmet cams and wanted an actual view of the battlefield so that it would be much easier to piece where the trooper was at the time. On the monitor that Alex was currently watching he noticed that helmet cam had been staring at the ground for the past minute or so, pressing a button he switched to another helmet of a trooper in the same squad which showed the same thing. Using a style he made note of the squad’s KIAs on his datapad.

The planet of Sirador Prime was an independent planet near to one of the Vast Empire’s recent acquisitions on the Imperial march to the core, the sole reason that it was being invaded by the Imperial remnant is because of its location. Sirador Prime gave the opponents of the Vast Empire a key location to raid on VE shipping. Because the planet was not a top priority the task of conquering it was given to the Imperial Army, armed with Wraith squad as an escort; Alex began his report.

The war had been waging on for a few weeks and Rogueboy had attended the Imperial Army Commander meetings as an observer and using his datapad had recorded them. It has been many late nights and because of that Rogueboy had given Wraith squad the day off.

Rogueboy grinned as he remembered looking into the barracks on Sirador Prime and seeing them all tucked into their cots; their equipment chests shut and locked so that none of the IA troopers would steal from the Stormtroopers.

The AT-ST made its way up the hill and began it fast trot down. “Didn’t the battalion go east?” Rogueboy asked.

“Isn’t this east?” The pilot asked.

“No...” Alex hesitated. “I think this is southwest...”

The XO looked over at the instruments and noticed that everything was shifting left to right. “We’re being sensor jammed.” He announced sadly.

“Shit...” The pilot responded as he stopped the AT-ST. “We should be about threehundred kilometres from base.”

“No...we’re not going to get back to base.” Alex decided.

“What do you mean?” He asked.

“We’re in semi-hostile territory, there’s a war going on, we’re being jammed, our best chance is to try to meet up with the platoon.” Rogueboy said nervously as he fingered the blaster pistol he hasn’t had to use in over five months, since earning his Executive Officer promotion. “Can we send out a request for help?”

“No, sensors and comlinks are jammed.” The pilot responded.

“What the hell is jamming us?” Rogueboy asked, very frustrated.

“Not too sure, sir I would suspect either a solar flare or enemy installation nearby.”  The pilot suggested.

“Was there a solar flare warning?” Alex asked.

“None that I know of, sir.” The pilot answered.

“You know it’s times like these when I wish there was an emergency kit that actually contained a compass.” Rogueboy said.

“Well sir, we do have emergency kits, but no compasses.” The crewman responded.

Rogueboy didn’t make a comment to the crewman’s answer for the simple reason that he knew what was in the kits; hell he had signed his name on the flimsiplast along with the Imperial Army’s Executive Officer that authorized the use of those kits specifically.

After another hour of wandering around in one direction they had to admit that they were lost. “It’s about a half an hour until about sunset, I had told the base I would be back way before.” Rogueboy said hinting that a search party would be in the making sometime soon.

“Umm...sir?” The pilot attempted to get RB’s attention.

“Yeah what is it?” Rogueboy asked as he noticed that the pilot was pointing at some men moving over a ridge a few meters away.

“Are those ours?” The pilot asked.

“No...” Alex said as he noticed that one of the troopers had a PLEX launcher with them.

“Shit.” They both murmured as the launcher sent out a cloud of exhaust.

Back at the base
“Alright guys.” Anival started as he looked around at his squad, as they were geared in standard stormtrooper armour and A280 rifles. “The XO hasn’t come back yet from his survey, his last known location was here.” He said as he pointed at a holographic map. “It’s approximately three hundred klicks from the base, to achieve the best time possible I’ve requisitioned some speeder bikes for us to use. So mount up boys and girls, we’ll be there in about a half an hour.”

OOC:
Alright I'm under attack out in the field trailing the Imperial Army Troopers in the battle for Sirador Prime, Wraith was sent as my honour guard, but I let them sleep in. Stupid stupid me, Murphy's law showed up, anyways the time that I was due back to the base has come and passed, Wraith is coming out to investigate as a precaution, using the last transmission I sent as a beacon. Also expect your comlinks to be fuzzy the planet is going through a solar flare from a nearby sun.

Jenny was on the speeder, driving, with her A280 shouldered and DL-54 plus grenades secured on her belt. She was riding with Quillia, on the second speeder was Jamasis riding with Nightowl, with Ani on the lead speeder, looking at their current position versus the location of RB’s beacon to get a grasp on the distance.

The terrain was mostly rolling green meadows, with occasional trees and bushes popping out, and rough in spots where there was battle, the grass torn up in places. Jenny’s feeling were in contrast to the overcast weather, for she was excited and happy that she get to be involved in such a big invasion, and that she might get to meet RB. She had heard about his reputations back in VE, but had never met the man.

Guess I’ll meet him on this mission, hopefully we can have talk and maybe share our stories. I could actually find out what kind of a man he is. Jenny wondered with admiration as she was pulled back to reality when Quillia yelled to Ani with annoyance, because Jenny’s speeder was the closest to Ani’s and our comm. was down in light of this solar flare situation.

“How long till we get there, Ani, my ass is really in an uncomfortable position sitting on this speeder, I think it’s going numb.”  Jamasis and Nightowl chuckled at what Quillia said, but Jenny saw that she just gave a distinct annoyance at them. Jenny then heard Ani answer Quillia, with patience.

“Don’t worry, my dear Quillia, we’re coming up on the location in about a few minutes, A280s at the ready people. We may run into hostiles in this area.”

Not knowing what was in store for the squad, and just as they were about to arrive at the target location, Jenny heard him start to relay orders in his commanding voice.

“Nightowl, you’ll be our spotter, if you see any hostiles in groups, which I’m sure they will be, shoot one, and we’ll help take care of the rest. That means you’ll be on our rear. Jenny will take point with the rest in the middle, keeping Quillia to the rear. There should be an AT-ST--- oh shit!”

Jenny saw what was his concern and reason for mockery as she saw that the location was not where the AT-ST or RB and the pilot were found, but an empty field. She almost could fell Ani slapping himself in the forehead, almost forgetting something as he got off his speeder and gestured the rest to follow, ordering us to cancel those previous positions, spread out and find that AT-ST.

Jenny got off her speeder, glad to have this change of pace, for she was tired of driving the speeders too, and they could spot the AT-ST better on foot. She looked around with her binoculars, hearing Quillia comment on some scavengers feeding on leftovers of what looked like a straggling corpse of a trooper, hard to tell because his armor was torn apart, his body from head to feet chewed up:

“What an unlucky guy or gal, should’ve at least died with respect.”

“Well, unfortunately we don’t know how he or she died, but it’s worth mourning over, I guess.” Jamasis replyed, looking at the horrific scene with a blank face.

“It’s more like pity I hear in Quillia than mourning.” Jenny inferred as she finally spotted the destroyed AT-ST, working her way around a couple of bushes, trees, rocks and other things blocking the view. She quickly reported this to Ani.

“I have a visual on the AT-ST, Ani, it’s a couple clicks further from where we are, nothing on RB and the pilot yet, we’ll have to take a closer look.”

Ani nodded in confirmation as he gathered up the squad without thanking Jenny and relayed her info to the squad, laying out his orders.

“Alright people, let’s assume our original plan of positioning, since it’s befitting to the fact that Jenny found the AT-ST, she shall be leading us to it. Nightowl, just cover our rear, Jenny’ll spot our front.” Jenny heard a slight dislike in Ani’s voice at the mention of her, but shrugged it off as she led the squad to the location of the AT-ST.

“We’ve got a straggler, people, at the site of the AT-ST, looks like he’s alone, staying behind to loot the vehicle. Ani?” Jenny relayed quietly, stopping the squad behind cover near the AT-ST.

“We can’t afford him calling for help. Jenny, take him out, quietly.” Ani replyed quickly as Jenny nodded as confirmation and went on her way.

As she slowly sneaked her way to the straggler with discretion, she saw that he was a young man, carrying a blaster rifle and looking around for some treasure in the vehicle’s waste. She quickly got the man into a choke, snapping his neck to prevent further struggle and noise.

Jenny then saw Ani gesture for an immediate sweep of the area, which came up with no more bodies except that of the straggler, but carbon scoring and blaster fire was all over the place, especially tearing up the grass and scratching the armor of the vehicle at the opened cockpit. Jenny even recognized the missile that hit the AT-ST, and reported what she gathered of the situation, looking and reading the scene the whole time.

“Well, Ani, I believe we’ve found ourselves at the scene of a battle, or whatever remains of it. It seems they were hit with a plex missile, maybe a PLX-1 model, when they trying to follow the IA platoon, but got lost wandering out here. They quickly got out the cockpit, trying to hold off the enemy, but soon they got cut from both sides, the front and the rear. There is no blood here or bodies, which would suggest that they were trying to cover their tracks and claiming a prize with an officer by a clean blow to their heads.”

Jenny looked around the crushed grass where RB and the pilot fell after they were knocked out and finally found small footprints not far away, single file, and tramping the grass to the north. She suggested to Ani, pointing to the footprints.

“This must be where they’re headed, we should follow these tracks, but be wary of more stragglers. They’re not just trying to cover their tracks, but they’re also hiding their numbers.”

Ani nodded in confirmation and amazement as Jamasis raised the question before they moved out.

“How did you do it, Jenny? We’re all wondering.” Jenny explained without any effort of thinking.

“It’s no secret that I was a good detective in my youth, learning my ways working with the police and other law enforcement in investigating the conspiracy surrounding my parents’ assassination. My girlfriend, Leia was an expert in weapons, she had showed me the missile launcher before, so I know the mark it makes and the residue it leaves behind. I also know melee combat pretty well, so I know certain techniques that can render a man unconscious without risking blood being spilled.

Hopefully they’ll be alright by the time we get there, we must have hope, we must have faith that they’ll survive. Jenny hoped in her thoughts as the search for RB started with her following the small footprints.

OOC:
Summary---Wraith makes it over to the location but is unable to locate RB. Jenny finds on her binoculars of the actual location and she kills a straggler there. On site, Jenny analyze the scene, making a strong guess that RB and the pilot have been captured and taken to the north, they follow footprints which may lead to RB's location.

Idiot thought Anival, why couldn’t he have stayed and been lazy like every other XO in the history of XO, finally one who is willing to move his lazy ass, and he is too stupid to take us with him.

One by one the mounted their vehicle, and strapped in their weapons. Anival straddled the bike, and marveled at its design. It was simple, but it was more than enough to get the job done. Several ignitions were turned, most in unison, Anival was the last, he did it on purpose.

Let the troopers think he wasn’t paying attention, he wanted them to note he was one of them, over the past few weeks he had felt his influence dropping, although he knew he was still respected, more of his decision were being criticized, or all together ignored. He would make small mistakes, and be perfect when it mattered, he would assume his role when it mattered, not when it wasn’t needed.

“How did you do it, Jenny? We’re all wondering.”
Anival wondered if Jamasis was being sarcastic, to him it seemed so, the sarcasm was lost on Jenny, who went on about a story of her former life. Anival chuckled mentally.
“Alright, enough chit-chat, lets continue on foot, no use alerting anybody we’re coming. Nightowl you take point, I don’t want to be the first one to get shot.”

“Oh thanks Ani, that makes me feel loved.”

“It’s what I’m here for.”

The squad formed up and walked, silently moving, the fact that white plastiod armor only made them more conspicuous was not lost on Anival, and he was sure most of the troopers felt the same way, they should have been wearing swamp trooper armor, or at least have gotten some paint. They were as obvious as an equay among wookies.

After about an hour and a half of walking, someone reported to have spotted an encampment. Anival walked over and asked for Jenns macro binoculars, the sight was not what Anival expected, there were tents set in a random, the only place that seemed to have military order were the medical tents.

A few supply crates seemed to be opened and laying around, the floor still had grass, which meant the camp hadn’t been there long enough for it to be trampled. The soldiers seemed to be in almost the same shape, they seemed to have been in a fight, and had been sent running with their tails tucked.

“Alright, we wait now, I don’t want to act rash, they survived this long, they can survive a bit longer, and when we do attack the rules of engagement are: Do not fire upon the medical tent, or medical staff. Apart from that shoot to kill, unless they are noticeably out of place.”

“Like a XO in an enemy camp?”

“Exactly, now keep an eye on them at all time, if a soldier takes a piss on a bush I want to hear about it, we will keep watch until nightfall.”

“That shouldn’t be long.”

Anival sat on the floor and took out a ration bar, he opened it, and threw the wrapper on the floor, he thought of the night ahead and took off his helmet and laid down for a nap, there wouldn’t be rest once they started the actual work.

One or two others did the same; the rest took to idle chatter. The warm sun basked on Anivals face, its warm rays sending him into a calm sleep.

OOC:
Alright, post done, we found the enemy camp, but we are not engaging. some CD and whatnot for now I guess.

The camp was terribly planned out; the mess area was near the excrement trenches, food rations was on one side of the camp and the ammunition supplies were on the opposite forcing soldiers to run back and forth before heading out on patrol. How did Rogueboy know this? It’s not like he got a special tour of the camp, but because of the grumbling of the troops guarding him.

Reflecting back on his capture, Rogueboy tried to think of alternative strategies that he could have employed to prevent future captures, without overly risking death.

The plex missile had struck the left leg of the AT-ST and it had come crashing down, luckily for Rogueboy and the pilot everything had been safely secured inside the cockpit. Slowly taking off his seatbelt the executive officer muttered a curse before hanging onto his chair as he lowered himself to the side of the AT-ST that was touching the ground. The pilot mimicked Rogueboy’s moves as they walked the half meter to the hatch. Using both hands, the pilot unlocked the hatch as the former stormtrooper pulled out his blaster pistol. Before the hatch was even fully opened a hail of blaster bolts seared the hatch a few went through the gap but hit the controls of the AT-ST causing sparks to shoot up.

The pilot immediately closed the door and locked it. There had been a few moments of awkward waiting before someone with a commanding voice began speaking loud enough for Rogueboy to hear it. “Open the hatch, and throw your weapons out or we’ll hit you with another plex missile, and another until you’re dead.”

Rogueboy looked at the pilot before taking the initiative and yelled back. “That’s no way to treat a visitor to this beautiful planet of yours.” His voice ringed inside the cockpit forcing them both to put their hands over their ears.

“You lost the right to courteous treatment when you became invaders, now surrender you’re outnumbered, surrendered and at such a disadvantage that the emperor himself would cry over your predicament.”  The voice said.

Looking at the pilot Rogueboy had a pretty impressed look on his face. “He’s good.” He muttered before yelling at the enemy leader. “Alright we surrender on your promise that you’ll spare our lives.”

There was the sound of laughter. “I don’t have to promise anything, and you have nothing to bargain with little trooper.”

Rogueboy tried a different tactic. “How many more plex missiles do you have? Do you want to run the risk of one of those malfunctioning? They’re never “nice” malfunctions; I’m offering you the choice of working for your kills or get two free bargaining pieces.”

There was the sound of low murmuring for a few minutes before a voice finally broke the silence. “Very well, I accept your surrender, now open the hatch and toss your weapons out.”

Nodding to the pilot, Rogueboy waited until the door was open before tossing out his pistol and the pistol of the pilot.

That was how they had been captured, it turned out that they were going back to the base to re-arm and that had been their last plex missile. With all things considered he couldn’t really think of another way he could have played it, had he called their bluff it would have been a stand-off. They had been very surprised to find out that they had a high ranking commander as a prisoner.

At first there had been a few troopers who jeered at Rogueboy but they had quickly been silenced by their squad leader. Then the long march back to base began.

That’s where Rogueboy was now, getting marched into a tent that was the makeshift headquarters for the officers, the squad stopped outside of the tent and the squad leader marched in. Straining his ears Rogueboy was able to make out bits and pieces of the conversation. “Caught...leader...fields...claimed to be surveying...do with him?”

There was a moment of silence then about five voices started talking at once, then there was a louder voice and the others stopped talking. “Bring him in.” The voice yelled before adding. “Leave the pilot behind.”

Rogueboy approached the tent flap and was immediately shoved in by a guard from the rear with the butt of his rifle.

“How rude.” The executive officer remarked, while looking behind him.

Alex did not have much time to look around the room before the inquisition started. “You’re not part of the Imperial Army are you?”

“No sir, I’m an observer from the STC branch.” Rogueboy said as he stared straight at the man’s eyes.

“What is your rank?” The next question came.

“Executive officer.” The response was not what they had expected, and their surprise was obvious.

“Well executive officer, what are you doing on our planet?”

“Finding flaws in the IA’s soldiers.” Rogueboy answered truthfully figuring that to lie would cause unwanted pain.

The man nodded to a soldier near the captive, the soldier then lashed out with the butt of his weapon into Rogueboy’s gut. The executive officer crumpled and was winded, “I don’t believe the Vast Empire would send it’s second in command to just watch the IA take a planet, especially without a stormtrooper escort.”

Gasping for breath Rogueboy couldn’t help but mutter. “Life sucks sometimes doesn’t it?” This earned the downed commander a kick which caused him to crumple as the boots dug in to his ribs.

“Anything else you want to add?” The senior officer asked.

“Yeah...since I’m already getting licks... Fuck you!” With this act of defiance Rogueboy was rewarded with a sharp blow to the head that made his head swim.

“Take them to one of the tents in the center, post two guards at the entrance, also double the perimeter patrols; there’s no way they aren’t going to try to rescue them.” The senior officer said to one of the guards.

OOC:
Saying how I got captured, the senior officer of the base, minor info about the layout. there's going to be two companies of troops here so that puts them around 150-200 people without casualties

Jenny couldn’t sleep as she was anxious for the battle to begin. She knew that they had to do something before the battle started, scout out the perimeter, and find out the strengths and weaknesses of the hostiles. It fit her personality more, she wasn’t one to sit back and do nothing, she was more one to take action and prepare herself for the coming battle.

Besides checking her A280 and her DL-54 blaster pistols to see if it was loaded or if it was jammed in any places, Jenny took out her macro binoculars and scanned them over to the enemy camp, wandering closer and closer to it without notice, her A280 shouldered within reach.

It was a beautiful afternoon indeed, the warm sun basking on the enemy troopers’ faces from behind the clouds, like a hidden treasure, a beautiful crystal, a few lonely scavenger walking around, moaning in their voices for perhaps food, the breeze of the occasional wind brushing past.

From her previous experiences with soldiers and judging by their attire, stance, walk, expressions, even though they had been running with their tails tucked, these soldiers were still battle hardened and alert. This was especially true for their commanders, who were mostly awake and alert, enforcing their strict military code when a trooper was lazy or lacking in its duty.

Jenny also saw that they made routine patrols around their camp all the time, with the men changing at irregular times and keeping to the camp perimeter mostly, never wandering off.  Even when taking a piss, Jenny noticed, these men did it at a spot close to the camp, for fear of being taken prisoner.

She then calculated their numbers, two companies in the tents of about two hundred men, lead by two captains, with personal guards, the companies divided into at least four platoons and six squads per each platoon lead by their respective lieutenants and sergeants, most likely senior ones. The officers had been organizing their troops, preparing them for battle, checking the supply crates and the medical tent, which seemed to be heavily guarded, probably for its importance.

At last she looked at their gear. The troopers were equipped with rifles that had been customized to fit a soldier’s speciality needs, like precision scopes for accuracy on a sniper rifle or targeting system on a PLX missile launcher, the ones that she had discovered back at the site of the downed AT-ST. They were also outfitted with sharp knifes, an assortment of grenades on their belt, and wore medium armour which had signs of battle on it but was still in good condition.

A force to be reckoned with, no doubt, as formidable as Ella’s forces, though they lack the patience that her troops have, their craving for battle will probably blind them to face their enemies head on. Although they seem to be more and more in military order than when Ani saw the encampment back a while ago, inspired by their leaders’ words every so often. Jenny wondered in thought as Jamasis tapped her shoulder, which caused her to jolt and grab her A280, pointing it at her ASL. When she saw who it was, she signed with relief and lowered her weapon.

“Try not to sneak up on me like that, Jamasis! It’s really annoying, I’m trying to scout out the enemy encampment.” Jenny warned, trying to keep her voice down as she had wandered quite close to the enemy encampment to get a feel of the place, lying on her belly just to avoid being seen.

“Alright, I will, now come on, let’s get out of here. You’ll have to report what you’ve seen at the camp with Ani.” Jamasis gestured as Jenny followed him, wandering slowly past the patrols.

--------Ten minutes later--------

“Great, you almost got us caught with those last groups of guards. Just be glad that I was concerned with your safety, otherwise who knows what would’ve happened. Jenny, try to wander with at least an escort next time you want to scout out the enemy. This is not your battlefield anymore, Jenny, this is theirs, you’re not dealing with your enemies, you’re dealing with the enemies of the imperial stormtroopers, and trust me, those enemies are a lot tougher than what you’ve faced.” As she walked back to Wraith’s camp with Jamasis, listening to his kind words of lesson, she hid a slight smirk and merely nodded in agreement, pretending to take the lesson into heart.

Not tougher than facing death with a rancor and your worst enemy, not tougher than facing hunger and cold on Hoth as I trained under my master. There were a lot more worse things I had been through in my life and some choices that I once regretted I’ve come to peace with. Compared to all those hardships, this is nothing, nothing but a minor nuisance that will be solved in time. Jenny thought of the encampment and her true feelings as she came back with Jamasis to the camp and an awake and angry squad leader.

“Goddamn it, Jenny, if it wasn’t for the camp not too far away, I would have screamed your ears off for your insolence. What the hell were you thinking, wandering near the enemy?! Are you trying to get yourself killed, is there some death wish on your head?! By the emperor, I swear I will never understand the things you do sometimes, Jenny, you are a real mysterious and sly bitch.” He said angrily, holding his screams in to keep their location a secret, but speaking in a low screaming tone all the same.

“Listen to what Jenny has to say, Ani, and let’s not start the finger pointing. Our anger and wisdom will extort toward the enemy soon enough.” Jamasis’ reminders seemed to stir something in Ani, for Jenny saw him nod slowly, with a slight disgust on his face, as if he had a bad meal with that ration bar he ate.

Jenny explained everything she saw at the encampment, from the slowly organizing enemy, their numbers, gear, and set-up. She had great pleasure explaining it to the squad, with their curious eyes upon her, Jenny felt proud of what she had found. But she learned not to be arrogant, and became more modest when she finished telling her discoveries.

“Well, that’s everything I remember seeing at the camp. I didn’t see any XO over there, but with the amount of troops, I’m sure he’s inside it. We’re going to face some tough challenge if we decide to engage them.”

“No, Jenny, we shouldn’t engage them.” Jenny was surprised at Quillia making a suggestion since she didn’t usually do so, but Jenny listened with intent anyways, Quillia continuing without even noticing.

“Well, I mean if we found where RB and the pilot is, we could engage a sneaking maneuver and rescue them. Risky, but we can’t call for backup, the solar flare is disrupting our communication.”

“Actually, I think Quillia is right on this one, because the flare disrupts their communication as well. What’s your opinion, Jenny?” Ani agreed with a slight smirk on his face as he asked Jenny snidely, for he finally found someone with a good idea besides Jenny.

“As long as we keep our presence covert and don’t kill too many of them to rouse their suspicions. It’s a tricky play, but I think Ani should consider it before moving forward, alright?” Jenny saw Ani agree in silence, with somewhat pain on his face for her caution, as she rolled her eyes and sat down.

Without looking at the others, she took out a ration bar, opening it and throwing away the wrapper. She then consumed the ration, all the while pondering if her choice to exercise caution was the right one. I guess we’ll have to find out. Exercising caution wasn’t my greatest strength, but maybe I could make up for some of it with this decision.

The squad gathered around, all of the troopers double-checking their ammo count; Anival looked around for a bit, then made a choice.

“Alright, we do need to exercise caution, so this is what we are going to do, and I expect every single order to be followed, if it’s not, you are putting the XO’s life in danger, and when we get back to Tadath you will be tried for treason and anything else I can think of. Understood?”

“Sir.” Came the trooper’s response.

“Alright, I want all but one of your ammo clips.” Anival paused and waited until there was a nice pile of clips on the floor.

“Second, I want your A280 unloaded, but keep your pistol ready, keep your clip ready and out of sight. Keep your weapons holstered unless told otherwise. Only shoot to immobilize, no killing. If you can avoid shooting anyone do so. This will be a quick in and out mission, if we can do so, I don’t want a single shot fired”

“Jenn, that straggler you killed, did you hide the body?”

“Yes.”

“Good, and bad, they’ll be looking for him, it might only give us a couple of minutes to act. So like I said, unloaded rifles, clips in a safe place. And let’s move.”

Anival picked up a sack and pulled Jamasis away. And spoke to him in a whisper.

“Alright, Jamasis, there’s a reason I want the weapons unloaded, take these and hide them, We will get caught, I know that for sure, and they will take two of  us, they will also take our ammo, and probably your weapons. I’m leaving my rifle, you leave yours as well.”

“Got it.” He looked puzzled.

========================fifteen minutes later=======================

The squad sneaked into the encampment, guards patrolled the area, they were in pairs of fours, apparently they had already figured out wraith was coming, Anival hand signaled two troopers, they got up and walked up, Anival couldn’t see Jenn’s expression but he was sure she would have given him a murderous look, she had also seen the much larger patrol about to turn the building, they would surely see them and start attacking, Anival opened a private channel to her comm..

“Don’t warn them, and don’t engage….yet”

Jamasis and Quillia moved behind the guards, Jamasis, knocked a guard out with a four quick hits, the armored fist made a small thud with each blow, Quillia took care of another, in a few moments all four were unconscious. Anival started to sweat in the temperature controlled armor, he was confident about his plan so he would not back down, but there were some factors that could go wrong. In the end Anival decided to trust his soldiers.

Jennabelle proved to be trustworthy; she stayed silent, just as the other guards turned the corner.

“Stop!”

“Intruders!”

“Open fire!” The squad fumbled and took out their pistols, they fired less accurately, but still impressively. Four of the six were down clutching a body part, and two had managed to escape, Anival was wondering if his plan had failed, when a silent but steady alarm blared, it sound like some sort of preset dashes, it was four long beeps with a small honking noise, and it repeated in that order.

“Alright guys I want you to search these tents, Me and Quillia will search this side, you search the other, do it quick!”

Within minutes of starting the search they were besieged by dozens of soldiers, each carrying automatic weapons, a few were holding up sniper rifles, and at that range they couldn’t miss, and the armor wasn’t strong enough to dissipate the energy from the shot.

“Retreat!” Anival made a big show of starting to retreat, he was shot in the back, it didn’t penetrate, or really do much but stain his armor, but he threw a convincing act, he lunged forward toppling Quillia as well. Anival looked up to see Jamasis and Jennabelle, get away.

OOC:
Alright I got me and Quillia captured, reason for this, we would fail at finding RB if we didn't get taken to him, in my next post I will add some more details to my plan, as for letting Jenn and Jamasis get away, Jenn is posting so she should be able to control Jamasis trooper for a while. Jenn, now you guys can use all the ammo packs, which we, since we are captured, wont be needing. If you want start some guerrilla tactics Make them think we are more

Jenny was very angry with herself, she had let Ani carry out his plan, without knowing if it would work, if he could get RB out of there. God, what is he thinking, leaving us with all this ammo….. Wait a minute….. Jenny looked at the ammo and their smoke grenades, something suddenly clicked into place. I knew it, that son of a….

The alarm was still ringing, the enemy still searching, thinking of others to follow in Quillia’s and Ani’s wake. Jamasis had led Jenny and Nightowl to a safe hiding place near the camp where he thought out the next plan of action. Nightowl was impatient as he asked Jamasis quietly, looking around nervously. The enemy troops searching through the camp with their desperate voices, trying to get this done so they could have a rest after a long day.

“Come on, Jamasis, we need to think of a plan, they could be searching here any moment. Ani and Quillia could’ve been already captured or worse, even dead. Jamasis!” There was a plea in his voice, he was almost crying, it felt, to Jenny.

“Only way is guerrilla tactics, Jamasis, that’s why Ani left us all this ammo and our smoke grenades, we are going to create an illusion.”

Jamasis was shocked at Jenny’s sudden interruption and her having an idea this quick, but she knew what she was thinking and continued confidently:

“The night is upon us, we have the cover of darkness, and with the smoke, we’ll have even more. Jamasis, we need to create the illusion that we are more than it seems, that’ll really put the scare on the enemies.” Jenny stopped and thought of the camp they had seen when they infiltrated. The enemy, their patrols, the way their camp was set up, their direct assault. No plans, just charge and kill, it's a f***ing bloody mess….

“Interesting. The enemy is more sly than I originally thought, and not formidable either, but easy to break.” Jenny saw the gesture from Jamasis to go on, and she did, even they both looked awed and stunned by her intuition. “They’re not what I described earlier in the afternoon. These people have been trying to cover their tracks, covering their mess, although now I see how bad it is inside. I see the real picture. The men are battle hardened, yes, but morale is quite low, as RB makes them a target, a target for men like us. The nerves will get to them, if we make it seem we are quite the force to be reckoned with.”

“Interesting analysis, Jenny, so what are you suggesting, exactly?” Jenny sensed a chuckle of amazement behind that question. Jenny wasn’t surprised, she knew that her intuition has always been quite the mystery to people, as it always helped her in the most troubling situation when she was hunting down the murderers of her parents and other influential senators.

“I provide cover with these A280 ammo, you two pop out your respective smoke grenade and throw it into an open spot in the camp. Then you’ll come from two sides and attack, kill as many as possible, switch sides and continue, just do whatever you have to do.”

“Jenny, are you sure that you can’t---” Jenny was very annoyed at this argument and replyed in her best tone possible, trying to hold back the anger:

“You two have a better effect than I do. Plus I’ll switch positions too, to further confuse them. Just make sure you kill them and don’t leave any alive, otherwise this won’t work.”

“I see. Well, I think I’ll agree to that plan, since we haven’t got any better.” Jamasis ended that with the chuckle that he had been hiding. Jenny pretended not to notice, and checked her A280 to make sure it was ready, looking through her macro binoculars at the camp. Finally, he lets it out, I wonder what he’s thinking at this moment. God, I love the look on their faces when I tell them about my plan, when they have none and only can listen to me with begging eyes. Jenny chuckled at that thought, looking in the direction of the camp. She suddenly told the situation to Jamasis, with confidence in her heart.

“There’s a good location, right there, at the rear of the camp, where I earlier spotted people getting food. Guess they don’t guard their food as well as their ammunition, the camps where the ammo must be is filled with troops, sweeping through it, at least four squads, two to search through and two to cover their asses. Nice place to throw a grenade in the direction of if we needed a distraction.”

“Then we could divert more of their troops to the ammo depot, that would make quite the explosion no doubt, assuming of course, that Ani, Quillia and RB aren’t in that area.” Jenny heard Jamasis trying to follow her train of thoughts, she quickly responded to his questionable tone on that last sentence. There were running sounds in their comms, which meant they were moving to the location on either side.

“They wouldn’t be there, too dangerous, our enemy needs them alive, to find out what they know about our strength, the chances of us coming after, how many would come after.”

Jenny gave out the signal by filling the food depot with blaster bolts, possibly killing troops that had been there. She heard smoke grenades pop out and thrown in that direction from two sides unseen. Jenny hid herself as much as possible as she continued to fire in that direction. The smoke filled the area, and soon she stopped firing, reloading her second expired clip. She didn’t want to risk hitting Jamasis and Nightowl, as she heard blaster shots from that area, able to distinctly differ the automatic fire sound from the blaster fire sound.

The blaster fire sound seemed to come from all directions toward the ammo depot, just as she had planned. There were shouts of panic and quick running sounds toward the ammo depot, probably led by the nervous sergeants. Soon sounds of protest were present, probably made by the more calm lieutenants. But it was probably all too late, as a grunt and yells of pain and some squads probably stampeded towards the ammo depot madly, while what’s left defend against the incoming and unknown threat. Three taps were given signalling the stage was set for the grenade. Jenny gave the signal back to fire away and felt something press on her back.

“Put down the weapon, you imperial scum. I knew there was someone out here helping them. But I didn’t expect it to be a whore in the form of a twi’lek.” Jenny complied with a smile on her face as she faced her opponents, three guards with automatic rifles pointed at her head, the captain pointing his pistol between her breasts.

“You’re such a pervert you know, pointing your weapon like that. You should watch your manners, Captain.” She gestured to his obvious uniform with the insignias. “No armor either, just a knife, you’re gonna make this a whole lot easier.”

The captain soon found out the meaning, as the ammo depot suddenly blew up, taking the nearby soldiers with, engulfing the place in flames. The distraction for them to look at the explosion was all she needed, as she quickly ducked down and slammed into the captain’s pelvis with her left hand holding him. After that, as if in slow motion, she fired back at the three guards with stray shots from her A280, which killed them, eventually.

She was soon on top of the captain, blasting A280 shots into his weapon hand, rendering it useless. She pointed her A280 at his other hand, rendering it useless also, for fear he pulls out his knife on her. Jenny assessed the situation, thinking that it would be better to take him to Jamasis for questioning rather than to kill him, even though he had insulted her. And then I’ll take care of you, cut you up real nice, you little pervert. Jenny thought cruelly in her head as Jamasis relayed over comm, keeping the chatter to a minimal to avoid detection.

“Ammo depot down, their comm. went with it.”

“Got officer here, taking him to rendezvous point for interrogation. Should have RB’s position soon enough.” Jenny was quick to her words as she crushed his blaster pistol, knocking him out, dragging his unconscious body to the rendezvous point.

“Do the interrogation now, while the enemy is still scattered and trying to figure out what’s happening.” Jamasis’ orders seemed urgent, like something was about to happen.

Jenny complied and took out the officer’s knife. She stabbed it in his kneecap and punched him on the face to stop the screams. Her legs were pinning the knee wounds tight, and her left hand were on his mouth as she said with a coerce tone, whispering it to his ears.

“Now you are going to tell me where the officers are and you’re gonna tell me now or you won’t see your family anymore.”

“No, never, I’ll never tell you and turn against my cause, not even for---” Muffled screams were heard as Jenny squeezed his left arm and twisted it, applying further pressure to his knees.

“How much do you want to suffer, do you wanna die, my friend.” Jenny shot his side, just brushing the artery, as a sign of how far she was willing to go. She could tell in his eyes that he was breaking, so she asked again, with a threatening voice, closer to his ears, a bit louder, so that his eardrums couldn’t take it.

“Where are the officers that you have captured?!”

“I know only one, only one, just stop hurting me. Our biggest catch is in one of the tents in the center of the encampment. I can upload the schematics and put the coordinates in, but no more pain…. I can’t take much more, I just want to….” His faint voice signalled death, which took place when he stabbed himself in the chest, keeping his mouth shut to avoid the location from popping out.

“Shit, that son of a….” Jenny then relayed on the comlink with a disappointed tone. “Squad, officer down, I repeat, officer down, he killed himself.”

“Damn it, Ani better come through soon, ‘cause they’ll soon realize what’s wrong and come back to haunt us.”

Anival sat in a small room, it was nearly bare. Three army cots sat in a far corner, accompanied only by a small drawer with plain flimsi sheets. Quillia was sprawled on one of the cots, she was still in armor, her helmet however, had been removed.

Idiots thought Anival, you should have taken our armor, it’s the most valuable thing for a trooper, of course, next to his guns.

A recognizable thud of boots was audible in the hallway, and a strange dragging sound, someone was either limping, or unconscious. Anival laid down and pretended to be asleep. A small door was opened, and a body was thrown in, groans came from the newcomer, and for a minute, Anival thought it was RB, as soon as the door was closed he was up. The man was of Alex’s Height and Build, but his hair was much different, the newcomers hair was crimson red streaked with white. A quick look of disappointment washed over Anival, the man was wearing Imperial Army garb, he wouldn’t be much help. Anival took apart his thigh armor as quickly as he could, and took out the batteries, his armor would be good for much now, then he ejected a small vibro-knife. A quick check of Quillia’s vitals showed she was alive.

“Ughh” a groan escaped the red-haired man.

Anival went to the fellow solider and helped him to a cot.

“Soldier what’s your name and rank.?”

“I told you I ain’t saying nothing’.”

“Soldier its alright, I am in imperial soldier as well.” The man regained energy and sat up, an audible crack came from his pelvis, the man squinted and looked Anival over.

“Oh, a Storm trooper huh? Came out to finish what we started?”

“No, actually, I came to get you out of here.” Of course it was a lie, but the man had been through a lot, and Anival wanted to give him hope. It had an expected effect.

“W-what? You came for me?”

“Yes, and we have already rescued most of the other soldiers, they have been sent to their respective squads, and platoons. We only have you and one other left.”

“Good then get me out of here.”

“First, what is your name and Rank, I don’t want to take a spy now do I?”

“Tore, Gunnery Sergeant Tore Opiut.”

“Alright Sergeant, we need to find the other before we leave, One Alex something, he is about 1.8 meters tall, weight is about 94 or 96 kilograms, hairs a light brown, rank insignia is Second Lieutenant.”

“Wow, what’s that guy doing here.”

“He sent us in for you, but he was ambushed so we need to get him out of here soon.”

“Whos that?”

Anival turned around and saw Quillia standing, he wondered how long she had been there, and what she had heard. The incredulous look she had said she had heard enough of the conversation.

“Another trooper sent in, she is a medic, but her supplies were taken, she could help you if you could give us some-”

“I don’t care what he said, why are there only two.” it was a loud voice, and it came from the hallway. Anival remembered his plan and crack the batter with the knife, and laid down, the armor and body glove insulating him from the energy.  Two bodies stepped in, Anival stood and tossed the leaking battery at the armed guard, he started convulsing and fell  to the floor, spittle flew from his mouth and he stopped convulsing, a sick smell of burned flesh fill the air.

The other man watched, not moving, he didn’t notice when Anival stood and placed a small knife on his throat, he pressed it down and drew some blood.

“Alright, we need to talk and don’t yell or you’re dead, Quillia, grab that rifle.”

Rogueboy licked the space between his thumb and index finger; closing his fist he used it to clean the dry matted blood from his temple. He was less than content with his situation; he knew that unless something happened and happened soon he would either be transferred out of this temporary camp to somewhere more remote, or he would be publicly executed. Either way he didn’t like those choices.

At the sound of footsteps rusting through the grass Rogueboy lied on the makeshift cot and pretended to be asleep. “Is the prisoner awake?” A young man’s voice asked.

“Let me check.” The guard poked his head through the door. “Negative.”

“Humph...” The man said, not long after the sound of swishing grass began again, but this time it got more distant.

“What do you think he wanted with the prisoner?” One guard asked the other.

“If I was psychic, I wouldn’t be here, and I wouldn’t have to deal with your stupid questions.” The other guard said menacingly. “Don’t ask stupid questions, we’ll find out soon enough.”

Almost as if the guard was actually psychic the familiar swishing heralded the arrival of someone. One of the guards chuckled as the door opened. Once again Rogueboy was pretending to be asleep, with his eyes totally closed he heard the man approach the side of the bed. As soon as the man stopped a somewhat familiar sound came to Rogueboy and he couldn’t quite place it. At least until the man dumped a bucket of water over him and he came up sputtering.

“Wha...the hell?” Rogueboy barely managed to say as he was spitting out water that had gone in through his nose.

“Rise and shine sweetheart you’re coming with me.” The youngish man commanded.

“Do I have to?” The executive officer asked.

“I can see from your cuts, that you give alot of lip, keep it up and the cuts will get deeper.” The man said as he turned as if expecting Rogueboy to follow.

“Actually the hits came first.” He said as he got up to follow the man who raised his right hand to his cheek as a warning.

“Don’t test me.” Was all he said as he started walking out the door with Rogueboy in tow.

They had crossed a fair part of the camp before stopping outside of a tent where the man motioned Rogueboy to enter. As soon as he entered he looked around the room and saw five men, and a cam droid.

“Sithshit.” Rogueboy muttered under his breath.

“I believe you know what this is.” One of the men said.

With that Rogueboy was kicked behind his kneecap and brought to his knees and three men walked up next to him brandishing their blaster rifles. The light on the holocam droid switched to red, and one of the men not in the droids view began reading from a script. “We of the planet Sirador Prime order the Vast Empire to withdraw all their forces from our planet’s surface, as well as lift the blockade and leave our system. Failure to comply with these demands will force us to execute you’re executive officer, does the executive officer have any words to add?” The man looked up and saw Rogueboy nodding. “You may speak them.”

“Hi mom and dad, I’m at camp Sirador wish you were here...” The man who had done the reading looked disgusted and motioned to the men surrounding the captured executive officer.

The first one shoved him down so that Rogueboy was lying on his side and the rest just began kicking him with their boots. Instinctively Alex’s hands went up to protect his head, not that it helped all that much and by the time the officer who had done the reading called for the men to stop; by that time Rogueboy felt like a punching bag and the pain seemed to come from every direction. “Stand him up.” The man in charge commanded.

Sure enough Rogueboy was lifted off the ground by two of the men who had each grabbed him by the arm. Pulling out his blaster pistol he put the barrel of the weapon in Rogueboy’s mouth. “Listen to me you piece of bantha shit, you will beg for your life in front of that holocam or so help me it will be the last time you’re ever on a holo.”

The threat seemed hollow to Alex, or perhaps it was because of the ringing in his ears that made everything seemed hollow. All of a sudden there was a series of loud bangs followed by an explosion which in turn was followed by another explosion. The ground seemed to shake and one of the men let go of Alex to go look outside the tent, which caused the executive officer to crash down onto the tent floor. “The munitions are lit up!” He yelled back.

OOC:
Alright I'll let you know what's going on in my mind, Jenny set off the munitions dump from some shots from a treeline or she just got really close. Anival and Quillia I would recommend not walking around in your stormtrooper armour, something about ya know 200 troopers being around. See if you can rob some clothing sneak around, find me in the tent and help rescue me so we can escape the camp.

Post read- Yes
Important points- RB being tortured on camera, and then the munitions exploded and everyone has come running.
Key points for me- they are running towards me, to kill me.

"That's it, Jennabelle, we're leaving. Now," Jamasis ordered.

"What? He just told us where the XO is, they are in complete dissarray, and this might be our only chance to get our SL back!"

"Please shut up. One; if the squad leader is absent, the assistant squad leader takes temporary command. So we're going. Now."

"But we h-," Jenny protested.

"We are leaving!" shouted Jamasis. "Now, because we are about to die and we won't make any difference if we stay."

This seemed to end the conversation, Jennabelle followed without much complaint. The three of them had moved about two hundred yards from the camp before Jamasis waved them to a halt.

"Lie down. Right, we can't get Rogueboy out of that camp. Not with everyone on red alert and standing between us and him. But we don't have to. Firstly I was with him in a squad for a while. His captors are going to hate every moment with him, because they want him for a reason, and even when he has a gun in his face he is going to be an arse to them. But they won't shoot him, at least not for a while, because he is valuable. Second, Anival has been captured almost everywhere we go. He should have learn't by now, I guess, but he gets captured. He also escapes without any help. Now, he has been captured as part of his plan he will probably escape pretty soon. Third, we've just drawn every single one of them away from both Anival and Rogueboy. They are fine."

Jennabelle objeced almost immediately, "But there is still a chance the guards stayed."

"Yes, but Anival will escape anyway, and between them Anival and Quillia should be able to rescue someone from an empty base."

"BUT in a few minutes it is not going to be empty anymore!"

"Yes it will," Jamasis replied in an irritated tone, "because in a minute we're going to get up, and then we're going to start shooting at the people running around the munitions. They will chase us. We run away, but make sure they always stay close enough to keep chasing us. Once we've distracted them for a couple of minutes, we run as fast as we can."

"If they catch us..."

"We die. So either shoot them or run for your life. Not bothered particularly. Right, up."

The three of them rose to their feet, and started checking their guns.

"Move closer until we're in effective range,"

They moved forwards quickly, guns ready.

You're going to have to ask her you know.

Ask her what?

You know what.

I honestly don't.

We're the same person. And yes you know. And you do have to ask her.

Jamasis groaned inwardly. "And while we're running," he whispered to Jennabelle,"You can think about this question; why do you dislike the rest of us, and why do you keep acting superior?"

Jamasis aimed his gun and fired.

You know, this was a pretty crap plan.

Got a better one?

Yep. But you'd better start running.

OOC:
Summary- We left the munition fire thing, and then we decided/I told them to shoot at the two hundred odd people on high alert.
Notes- Not fussed what you post, you can run or fight, but 3 vs. 200? Plus we have little ammo. Maybe hide?
Orders- None, except let my character live. Pretty please.

Important Points: Wraith Squad minus Anival and myself have destroyed a munitions storage facility, causing fire and loud noises.
Key Points: Majority of enemy personnel are investigating the explosion.

There was a loud "boom," the room shuddered, Quillia and Anival looked at each other.

"Did that just happen or did a take a bigger hit to the head than I thought?" Quillia asked.

"I believe that that would be our cue to hurry this little operation along." Anival replied.

"Gunny, you have three options; help us, make a break for it, or wait here. I would not suggest option three, seeing as we tend to make a mess of things, and you won't want to be here for that."

Quillia removed her armor, leaving just the body glove on. Anival and Tore both looked at her quizzically.

"I'd rather run around in just the black body glove and avoid getting shot at as opposed to being two bright white stormies drawing attention to ourselves." She stated curtly.

"Well, I'm so banged up I'm sure I wouldn't be much help." Gunny Tore began, "Not to mention there's not enough firepower around, I'd just be dead weight for the most part. I think I'll just make a run for it."

"Well in that case take this." Quillia  pulled a holdout blaster from underneath her body glove. "Just don't worry about where I had to hide it, and erm... good luck."

Anival gave Quillia a questionable look, as he finished dressing down to his body glove. She tossed him the blaster rifle.

"Ready Ani? The ex-oh isn't going to save himself." She said heading to the door.

The three former captives left their cell and followed the hallway to a small guard post. They stopped before entering the room.

Quillia peeked into the room and saw one guard, with his back to the the escapees.

"There's only one guard I can see, back to us. If you two can cover me, I can take him out quietly."

Anival nodded, and moved to cover Quillia as she made her way into the room. She crept up behind the guard, placed one hand over his mouth to muffle any noise he might make, and drove her other fist into his throat crushing his larynx silencing him for good. She gestured that it was all clear, Anival and Gunny Tore entered behind her.

"That was impressive, if we get out of this remind me to buy you a drink." Tore said.

"Not if, Gunny, when. You're going to make it to safety and we're going to finish our mission, and muck up everything we can just to set everyone else back."

Anival had been going through the guard's station looking for any intelligence on the base, or where they were keeping the executive officer.

"Ah-ha!" Anival exclaimed as he pulled a filmsi map of the base out from under a pile of papers on the desk. He studied the map, figuring their current position, and the possible locations they could be keeping Rogueboy. All the while Quillia was divesting the recently deceased guard of his Kylan-3 pistol.

"I don't think you'll be needing this anymore." Quillia muttered as she checked the pistol over.

"So boss, what's the plan now?"

OOC:
Summary: Anival and Quillia have escaped, and armed themselves, and have a few guesses on where to find RB, while still exploiting the distraction.

Jenny felt real offended with Jamasis' question, she had thought that her plan worked tremendously well in distracting the enemy and was becoming quite the asset. She just didn't realize that she was becoming so superior to everyone else, but hating everyone? Wow, that was a first for her actually, to hear a question like that spoken to her.

"huh, really, Jamasis, I don't know what to make of your question, but I don't like the idea of running around, distracting two hundred troopers with the fire of three troopers, I mean that's like suicide." Jenny was hoping to put some sense into Jamasis with her 'persuasion', who was looking caught up in his own thoughts. I'd better give him the benefit of the doubt, he's looking very much on edge, probably a bad day, don't we all have those. With those thoughts, Jenny changed her tone and continued:

"Well, I'm very sorry about my attitude, Jamasis, it's just when I'm in a desperate situation, usually my mind spins faster than usual and can come up with really good ideas that well.... probably gets the job done. It might come off as insulting or very demanding or acting superior, but hopefully you'll get used to it or I'll change. I mean I've been like this since I started that little war with the my parents' murders, but that stuff we can leave for later. Of course, you're out of opinions and well, I don't mind doing this as long as Ani gets his plan carried out."

Jenny saw that Jamasis looked surprised yet again at her change, but just shrugged it off and whispered to her:

"Oh, and by the way, I'm not such a pain in the ass as Ani, so, you don't have to worry, I won't bite. I just hate doing the whole guerrilla thing." Jenny nodded before Jamasis signaled to get up and open fire.

Jenny got up with the others and opened fire with her A280 on the munitions. The troopers there got sunk with blaster fire, a few ending up dead. Jenny ran back with Jamasis and Night as she finished off her clip with the killing of the two leading the troopers.

"Well, this is working, I think....." Jamasis stopped as Jenny saw what was going on. The soldiers, having chased them for a few minutes decided to throw grenades at them, to scatter them and capture them one by one. There was a lot of blaster fire headed their way, rockets about to follow in the wake, with the heavy weapons specialist soldiers preparing their plex. "Jenny, although I hate to say this, this is a very good time for one of your---"

"Run back towards the base, now! If we scatter, it'll be easier for them to catch us, we don't have another choice, the time for distraction is over, they're going to know we're fooling, especially if a Captain has been killed by my hands." Jenny said in a low voice to Jamasis, almost yellling, as she threw a smoke grenade in the troopers' direction. "GRENADE!"

"Okay, let's go this way, we should lose them in the forest here." Jamasis said in a very loud voice. Jenny smirked at him catching up so quickly this time. She followed him, heading towards the nearby woods, but diverting towards the base at the last minute crouching through the bushes.

OOC:
Summary---Jamasis, Jenny and Nightowl distracted the enemy for a moment, but they're not as stupid as they seem, so Jamasis decides to follow Jenny's advice and divert them back to the base, confusing the enemy to search in the nearby forest.

Anival felt, or thought he felt the chilly air, maybe it was just his nerves. As soon as they walked outside the sun-blinded them wth ts glare, it was almost directly above them, the time, he guessed, was anywhere from 1100, to 1400. He sighed and looked around cautiously, then ran to a crate near a hover-sled, the shadow had enough cover, he motioned Quillia over.

They made there way in that progress, sticking to shadows, and trying to navigate with the stolen map, the camp, was bigger then they could have guessed, and the commotion that was surely being caused by the remaining wraithies was actually causing more harm then good, it had taken them an hour to cross forty feet of camp, it was tediously slow. Eventually they found their objective, and to their surprise was lightly guarded.

Quillia took down a guard, while Anival took out the other, then he felt something around his neck, a strong arm, There had been three guards. DAMN, I'm so stupid

The soldier was strong, stronger than Anival, and judging by the hold, he was a full head taller than him, Anival tried to get out, but the man just held stronger, darkness started to creep into the edges of his vision, and then, he was let go, he rubbed his neck and turned around, Quillia stood next to the mans unconscious form.

“Thanks,” was all he could muster. She nodded, and they walked into the room. Inside was their XO, and separate individual.

“I see they had your kind of entertainment Alex.” He said gesturing at the man next to him.

“Well, what else was I supposed to do, I have needs as well. And I forgive you for not calling me by rank.”  He winked.

“Well lets go before we get caught.”

“Too late.”

“What now?”

“Just kidding.”

“Hey why are you two in just your body-gloves?”

“New ways of torture.” Anival returned the wink, and they all walked outside.

“Should we go the obviously easy path, or the hard one, littered with soldiers and probable death?”

“You got a gun?”

“Yes.”

“Then we go the hard one, littered with soldiers and probably death.”

“And were off.”

“To see the wizard?”

“Oh do shut up, we need to concentrate.”

Alright, we found RB, and are now escaping from the camp itself, we should expect some scattered resistance until they find out that he's missing.

Important points: Anival and myself have found RB and his pilot
Key points: We need to escape the base and meet up with the rest of the squad.

A blaster bolt whizzed past Quillia, all four dived for cover.

"Well, I think we may have over stayed our welcome." Quillia blurted out, returning fire from a crate she had dived behind.

"Oh, I do think it is the exact opposite, I believe we have upset our hosts by leaving their soiree early." Rogueboy said, as the blaster fire picked up.

"Follow me!" Anival shouted "I have a plan!" He got up and darted down the lane, ducking from cover to cover until he rounded the corner, Rogueboy, Quillia and the pilot not far behind. Quillia turned to corner just in time to see Anival duck into a door. Quillia went through the door, then keyed the lock behind her. Anival had led them to the maintenance hanger. There were vehicles of all types in different states of repair. Quillia could hear troopers banging on the door, the enemy troopers trying and break in.

"Any of these functional enough to get us out of here?" Quillia asked looking to Anival.

"This one looks in good enough condition." He gestured to a RTT.

"Well, what're we waiting for?" Rogueboy asked and climbed aboard. Anival climbed aboard followed the pilot, and lastly by Quillia. Anival slid into the pilot's seat and started firing up the systems.

"Well, we won't be going very far." Anival said, "but we'll make it out of here, that's for sure." He said as he keyed the hanger door to open.

The repulsors kicked in and the Republic Troop Transport lurched forward. Anival steered the transport in the direction they had originally come from when assaulting the base.

The RTT shuddered.

"What was that?" Quillia asked Anival nervously.

"That was one of the repulsor engines experiencing a severe mechanical failure. The good news is we'll be beyond the perimeter, the bad news is, we're going to crash."

Rogueboy rolled his eyes as he tightened the straps for his seat. "It's just one of those days I suppose."

The RTT fell from the sky, hit the ground and left a gouge in the dirt half a kilometer long.

"You know Ani," Quillia paused for a moment to check herself for injuries. "I think that was the smoothest landing I've ever been on with you."

Post read- Yes
Key points for me- The crash was clearly visible, as was the crash site. The obvious course of action is to proceed to the crash site and then to our base.
Important points- The three of them escaped in an RTT, but crashed shortly afterwards

"Ten thousand credits says that's Anival," remarked Jamasis as the three of them watched an RTT take of, fly shakily and then crash into the ground just out of site.

"No bet," said Nightowl.

"Right, we know where to go now. If they didn't get Rogueboy with them we're not going to get him out now. One reason; if we try another rescue they'll shoot him, or at least parade him with a gun at his head. Either way, he dies."

"So we're just going straight to the crash. Right, if we jog we can skirt the edge of the enemy base before the rest of them get back. We should reach the crash site in, maybe, five minutes," said Jennabelle.

"Always with a plan. And for once," Jamasis took a secret delight in saying this, "you're more than a little wrong. We will be going around the edge of the enemy base, but in case you've forgotten, we have a small supply of guns and ammunition here. We'll need it, and I want my rifle back. So, we jog round to the supply depot, which yes, is on the other side of all our enemies, we get the guns, and then we effing run to the crash site."

"Won't running attract more attention?"

"Yes, but that won't matter. Because as we leave I intend to once again shoot at our enemies. Then, some will chase us. Not so many, but hopefully a couple of dozen. Once we link up with the others, remember that the RTT has guns of its own, and so will we. We massacre them."

"And, why?"

"Because I'm fairly annoyed about them disturbing our day, then nearly killing us. Even if it may have been my fault. Plus the notion that three of us killed them all at odds of maybe 8-1 is slightly intimidating, and it will of course be helpful to whichever soldiers have to take this dump. So, we go now, and no arguing."

The three of them jogged off towards their supply depot, not trying to hide or find cover, but always watching for any of the returning troops.

Y'know, that's a good idea this time.

Yeah, thanks.

No problem. Oh, and don't try and annoy Jennabelle. Or anyone else. You do want to stay ASL don't you? And be a good one, rather than an arse?

Yeah yeah, shut up.

Once they reached the guns they each took two rifles and as much ammunition as they could carry.

"You sure this is a good idea?" asked Nightowl as they aimed their guns at the disorganised soldiers that hadn't decided to chase them.

"Yes," sighed Jamasis. "See that group there? About twenty seven, twenty eight of them. We fire at them."

"When?"

"Is your gun aimed?"

"Yes."

"Then fire," Jamasis said, hitting one of the soldiers in the leg. After firing two more shots, he ordered the others again, "Now we run!"

The three of them sprinted towards the crash site, which due to Anival's piloting skills, hadn't moved too far from where it had taken off. It looked less than two kilometres away.

----------------------------------

At the RTT, Rogueboy spotted something about fifteen hundred metres away.

"Hey, Anival! Quillia! Come look at this!"

"What is it?" asked Anival.

"You tell me, you've got binoculars."

After a pause," Aw crap, its Jamasis, Jennabelle and Nightowl. What have they gotten into? Looks like twenty something people chasing them."

"Seriously?" asked Rogueboy. "Hey, pilot, this thing got guns?"

"Uh, yeah it does. You want me to use them?"

"Yes, see if you can get them turned back towards where we came from."

"Can't, need to turn the ship around."

"Pretty please?"

"Uh, I think it's genuinely impossible. There's no power going to the engines. I mean, everything else is working, lights, doors, even climate control. Just there's no power going to the engine."

"Can't you get some of that fairly useless stuff off and put the power in the engines?"

"It'll only fly for a few seconds."

"Just do it. Anival, Quillia, off the ship and get ready to fire at those guys."

----------------------------------------

"Jamasis if we survive I'll kill you!" shouted Jennabelle as they sprinted towards the transport and ducked away from the occassional wild shot.

"Trust me."

"I did! Now look at what happened!"

"Like I said, trust me. It'll work, that transport should have guns, and we'll be fine."

"Should? You mean it's a guess? And if it's crashed, how do you think they're going to turn around!"

Oh shi-

Thanks for warning me about THAT one.

I didn't think of it.

No, you criticise but you don't do much better yourself.

You criticised Jennabelle, at least mentally. But look at your plans.

We're the same person.

Shut up.

Inwardly Jamasis smiled, but was brought back to the real world by a sudden sickening humming of engines coming back to life. The transport slowly lifted itself, a meter off the ground, then another, and slowly eased itself around before falling back to the ground again.

"Well, it's facing the right way!" Yelled Jamasis.

"It crashed again! You think they managed to fix the entire ship? Even if the guns were working to begin with, it would take an incredible pilot to fix a ship using only the power in the lig-"

She was cut short by a flurry of blaster bolts smashing into the soldiers behind them; coming from the republic transport. After a matter of seconds there were no pursuers left.

"You... you were saying?" panted Jamasis as he ground to a halt.

"Just shut up... please," said Jennabelle.

"Can you both stop arguing? For once? Please?" asked Nightowl.

"Yeah, sorry," Jamasis straightened up. "Looks like we can get back to our barracks now."

"You do realise I still want to kill you?"

"Yeah yeah, just let us talk to Anival first. Look they're coming over."

OOC:
Summary- Finito. Not exactly Shakespeare, but it's good enough. PM me anything I did wrong.
Notes- If Ani or RB want to post, I'm not stopping you writing in a happy and booze-filled ending. The RTT is completely broken now, and we all have our guns, are back together, and recovered RB and the AT-ST pilot. That's a success for once!
